Great Place! Private Lessons with Kendahl rock!

In total my daughter has attended this gym for 3 years. During this time, my daughter has grown and developed in tumbling, jumps, confidence and now competitive All-Star cheer. Coach Deb meets each child at their current level and push them towards greatness. Coach Kelsey is an angel, she truly speaks to my daughters potential and continues to motivate her. What I like most about the gym is the cohesiveness; everyone is family and celebrate each others success - its more than a gym but a family reaching and meeting goals.

Very good gym, Coach Jose and Coach John are excellent members of the staff and have made many young boys into talented young gymnasts.

This place is excellent. Reasonably priced an the trainers/coaches are top notch

So excited, this place is convenient and my girls enjoy it. The old facility will be missed but I am excited to see the new facility. ( location also seems nicer than the previous one)

Great gym with great coaches who are knowledgeable and care about your child’s safety and success. My son started 2 years ago in the recreational classes with Coach Sergio. He is awesome and helped him tremendously with his technique. My son was able to make the Men’s Gymnastics Team with his help. I highly recommend Coach Sergio for classes and private lessons. My son now trains with Coach John and Coach Jose. Both coaches are amazing and are very knowledgeable. They truly care of the boy. HGA has been the best experience for my child.

We have had a very positive experience at Houston Gymnastics Academy for years. Our private instructor Sergio Zapata has been fabulous to work with! I have two young children and they look forward to it every week.

I do NOT recommend this gym to anyone. Especially their camps! We have had a horrible experience here. Its gone downhill FAST. We used to like it. Now my daughter wont go. The management is unfriendly and the communication is HORRIBLE! They told me something over the phone and 2 months later their story COMPLETELY CHANGED!! There are so many other options. GO ELSEWHERE!

I came for a 6th birthday on Sunday. It was great for the kids. The parents needed a place to sit down and watch though.

My daughter is going there and she is so happy my oldest daughter angel she can’t wait and can’t stop talking talking about it!!

Love, love, love the coaches. We moved across town and much nearer other gyms, but wouldnt consider leaving these coaches. Im excited for the new facility to open! Our son loves it! Great experience being on the mens team.

Ive taken my child to several gyms in the area looking for the perfect home. By far we have had the best experience with this gym and their staff is great. It also helps that they are centrally located.

Birthday party was easy and fun. Camp was fine. Front desk workers are not helpful for regular semester sign up. No oneone answers the phone. Rude in person. Not worth the hassle. Going somewhere else.

My daughter had her first night of tumbling and she said the coaches are awesome.. My front desk experience was with 2 professional and helpful young ladies. Thanks for making us feel comfortable!Robertson Family

My daughter participated in the Cheer program and what a waste it was! Last year was great, but once they hired Deborah and fired our couches the program went to ****. Need I say no more. Stay clear from this place, they will steal your money and refuse to give you a breakdown to where your money is going. Very unorganized and overpriced for what is offered. The cheer program is given very little attention by the owners because their focus is on the Gymnastics side!

My son has been on the team for 3 years. We were welcomed from another Gym and feels like home. Great coaches and staff.

I came to HGA to learn how to tumble for cheerleading. I work with Sergio in private lessons once a week and I have progressed so much and Sergio has been so helpful!

I cheered there in the past for 1 year the year was terrible THEY FIRED ALL THE COACHES ,they we’re AMAZING coaches too . i don’t recommend this place . thank u.

The athletes looked amazing even the little ones.This seemed like a clean facility would go again for more bday parties

I love the place so much the coaches are very good and my son start learning REAL gymnastics

It keeps my kids active and is a step up from kiddie gymnastics for toddlers.

Best athletics program in area and staff. Kids night out is a blessing for our kids and friends.

There used to be wushu classes taught here as well as gymnastics. Whenever a big competition came around, the management used to force our coach to charge over $1000 excess for us to attend the competition as a fee for representing the gym. After trying to discuss how outrageous this was with the management, they wouldnt listen. Our coach was fired for telling them that he wouldnt charge us the fee the second time that they tried to do it. The owners simply have no concept of ethics.

I stopped in here cause I was working in the area and I was just letting them know that they arent claimed here on their page so they get no credit for anything they do for their Google account in regards to their website and they were extremely rude to me, I have always learned that every person is a potential customer so you should never be rude and clearly they do not follow that philosophy. Both ladies at the front desk provide horrible customer service and it doesnt surprise me that this business has a 3/5 on their rating as of now. Based off first impressions with them I would suggest you find a different gymnastics company to work with.

My 6-year-old daughter started here a couple of months ago, and we are very pleased. Shes taken gymnastics for a few years at Little Gym at at Gymanst Factory. We love her coach (Sherman), and she says that she used to be bored at GF, but is challenged and has a lot more fun at HGA. The facility is very nice, no typical gym smell, and theres lots of equipment. Highly recommend!

Our kids took basic gymnastics lessons here about 10 years ago. Basic guided play for the kids. The waiting room is crowded and the lessons were mostly just play time.

What ages can you go there my daughter is 9 and her friend is 10 and they want to go

I do not recommend this place to work. The management is all over the place & tori is very disrespectful. You cant attempt to have adult conversations with someone that acts and attempts to speak to you as if you are a child. Great gym and the president of the company is a very kind man. Just poor management. It doesnt look very well on the company when your management is extremely rude and communication skills lack tramindously. I had finals at school on Mon December the 5 and told another manager in advance and called to remind them on the exact same day. Tori got on the phone and proceeded to tell me I did not book it in advance I attempted to tell her I did tell another manager (keep in mind I have only been here a week) and she cut me off and basically hung up on my face. I then called the manager that hired me to express my concerns and was fired by tori the following next day. This is just unexceptable and goes to show education and professionalism does not mean anything to hga. -Best Regards

Ok. The people are extremely arrogant, reckless, and lack ethics. They cancel classes and just do not bother to notify. When I questioned them as to why they did not bother to inform us, they had the following explanation. We informed the kids in the class - My kid is 5 years old, how can they expect us to buy such an explanation. As I was not convinced they gave us a second explanation - They said we posted all over the place - In reality, you cannot expect people to keep looking around when their kids are doing gymnastics. I asked them, why did you not email us? They had two explanations. First one - some people do not like us to send them emails - I was not ready to buy this - notifications are very important. Canceling a class means a lot. Now they have another explanation - we did send an email (BIG BIG LIE) but you did not bother to give us your email address when enrolling. I forced them to look at my application form, and I indeed gave my email address. Then they said Sir we did send email, but you may not have received it - such a BIG BIG LIE. I usually dont pay much attention into these matters, but when I requested a makeover - which I was told that it can be accommodated provided the teacher does not have a full class, they gave me a hard time and were not willing to accommodate. When I questioned them about their ethics - Inspite of me being polite and talking to them, they kept arguing that I am rude (which is not true). All I did was question their ethics and behavior towards parents, they just FIRED my kid from gymnastics lessons. Poor kid, got FIRED from her gymnastics class and they also charged a cancellation fee.

Great program for boys. Seems pricey but each lesson is 70 minutes for $30 which really isnt bad.

Ive been going here since I was seven and the coaches come and go but it is a very fun environment!

I called today and ask how much did they charge for sessions the girl who answer the phone was like i dont know i cant tell you how are you going to run a gym but dont know the cost of classes. She was rude about it smh

If you and your child are serious about gymnastics this is the place to be.

This is the worst place ever.very impolite manager and mostly with a psychic problem..totally unprofessional and unfriendly...not going to recommend this gym to any body...a whisper to the owner..she will make any new comer to repell from the place
