This place amazing! Great pools, work out equipment, & of course tennis courts. My favorite part of going to Westside is enjoying all the animals & beautiful plants.

Nice but a bit old. Some cages could be taller for the animals. Tennis school is very good. But I wouldnt necessarily join the Club unless I have to in order to access the tennis lessons.

Needs more cleaning personnel. Only one lady can be seen cleaning. I have seen the same snack on one of the floors during at least 3 weeks. Cleaning floors and tables happens probably once a month? Pools are great, but wonder how clean they are

I went there as my friends guest and I loved it. Its clean and has plenty of things to do for the whole family. The zumba class and the instructor were amazing, he made the class fun and enjoyable.

Very great place to have a membership to reasonably priced. Great atmosphere Its a little snooty but I understand for the clientele that could go there. Just know shenanigans and I will be put up with here. Public decency and decorum is strictly enforced here. Great place for after-school programs for kids excellent place to learn about tennis swimming theres exotic animals here and throughout the year they have special events like the crawfish boil Easter brunch which is a awesome event and plus this was really great place to work thoroughly enjoyed working here.

Why is the pool area open beginning at 11am? This is one of Houstons hottest times of the year & time of day. Temps are near 100 degrees and early morning access to the pools is essential for safety from extreme temperatures. The club opens very early, before 7am , why dont you allow the same hours & access to the pool ?

My first time to visit, I had a good time and Im looking into a membership.

There could not be a better family club in Houston — truly it’s more of a resort. The staff is amazing and beyond friendly. The owners keep members involved and has incredible events for all ages from child to adult. Not to be missed! Best kept secret.

The club is conveniently located. The facilities are good. the gym is awesome. The club caters to all age groups. The staff are friendly. The restaurant food quality was not so good. I love to visit the club again. Particularly for the gym. The group workout classes are also great. I wish there are more classes in the evening though. Most classes are in the morning and hence difficult for those who are working.

They profile people here dont come here

Enjoyable atmosphere for swimming laps and spending time with the family. I appreciate the nice landscaping around the pool areas. My daughters love the monkeys on-site.

Good security..

Me and my friends went to the country club restaurant and the service was garbage. My friend has an allergy to pretty much everything, and when we asked the cashier if the food contained certain ingredients, he said “I don’t know.” When we asked for the manager, there apparently wasn’t one. As a friend of a victim, we feel attacked and can testify how harmful it is when employees do not know the contents of the food they sell.

I was here as a guest. The staff are polite and enthusiastic to show you around the facilities. It will be great for kids and adults with many options of entertainment including indoor gym, tennis, various sizes of indoor and outdoor pools,etc.

We were members for three years, only reason we left was due to buying a house further away (already drove 20 min now it would be almost 40). Childcare was awesome Janette is great and all the staff they hired always knew my kids names and took exceptional care of them. The facilities are stellar, the staff were always helpful. The events they hold are always fun and a good way to meet people. They have lots for adults and kids. The kids pizza parties were my sons favorite things to do on weekends. I have not been a member since March 2014 but I wouldnt say it was ever crowded and I pretty much all the staff knew us and our kids.The one thing I will say is that getting a court can be a hassle sometimes. We ended up just paying to get indoor courts a lot of the time because it was just easier. If you dont get there early enough you will have to wait or play on clay. I dont really care about tennis so for me this didnt matter as much. I loved the club for the kids stuff and the gym. The events were just added bonuses.

Westside is great - especially for families. They have everything kids need to be entertained like a true resort. A “Sports Zone” with batting cages and volleyball / basketball courts, a “Family Zone” with a giant jungle gym and bowling alley. The tennis and fitness facilities are wonderful as well, they have both indoor and outdoor courts. Ok, now to the pools! Wow. They have a giant family resort style pool, a lap pool, and adults only pool and a water park. It’s incredible. The price to join and stay a member is so affordable and you get SO much for your money! Love our club!

It is a great club for its safety of our members. A great place for entertainment, tennis, great coached lessons,swimming, & keeping the kids entertained! Ability to train and play all the recreational sports in the sports zone. Bowling arcades and a jungle area with real monkeys to watch and feed in the family zone.Lots of great animals around the club for families to walk around and enjoy.The club offers Always members only events. Friday night coketails for parents to enjoy a night out which gives a late night at the club for kids to have fun bowling watching a movie as laying sports. Friday night tennis with margaritas men and women mixers. Lots of -tennis tournaments on different court surfaces through out the year!This Club is a great place to meet and make more friends. The staff is awesome and truly care about all their members and know them by name. A lazy river is the new addition to the club! Comfy lounge chairs in all 3 different pools. The best drinking water and wine selection in Houston. The food menu is always changing both in the pool area and in the restaurant which families enjoy!

If you want to join a reasonable priced, very popular, conveniently located fitness center in near West Houston as an individual or for your family, Westside is the place for you!The main focus is tennis, where they host almost daily events like drop-in drills, tournaments, clinics, mixers, etc on beautifully maintained courts. But fitness runs a close second with an outstanding aerobics and yoga program. For children, there is a number of great swimming pools with a soon-to-be completed lazy river.This is a best-kept secret in Houston - check out Westside for a real country club experience that youll be proud to be a part of!

I spend 20% of my life in this place, its fantastic. Weve been members since 2007 and started as a recently engaged couple. Were now parents of 2 kids, one of them already thinks shes too old to be dropped off at the daycare facility they have (she may have a point at 7yrs old). Point is I joined Westside for the tennis, and have played there consistently for a decade. But as the club has turned from a tennis-centric facility to a more family oriented place my family has changed with it. We love the community, the variety of things to do there, and even the animals. Its bargain for what you get.

We love this place. So many options and such a great mix of fitness and other sports while also catering to the serious tennis player. Pools are great and kids activities are awesome. Such a great value.

Excellent facilities for tennis including private coaching, ball machine and classes. The gym is well equipped and there are outdoor swimming pools for doing laps or just to relax. Friendly staff and beautiful environment.

Horrible service I asked the management to certify me for the gym and it took 2 MONTHS for me to finally get the certification I was waiting for... hopefully theyll be able to fix this. After that then Ill give them 4 stars maximum. I am EXTREMELY displeased... but the gym and other facilities are AMAZING so theu deserve the three stars for the great gym facilities here... I still recommend you guys to become members here.

The MET is almost done with the renovation they started last year. It is reaaly looking great.The MET has several tennis and quash courts, a basketball court, a multipurpose hall with standing bags as well as rooms where you can do yoga, spin, or row. The MET also has a lot of different fitness equipment/machines. The new locker rooms and showers will have a steam room and a sauna.To top it off, the MEY has a nice good sized lounge with friendly staff

Nice Club, but; I left the club a couple of months ago, closed the account I used to automatically pay the monthly dues.These guys decided to charge from a different account I used a few times to pay for drinks and meals at the restaurant, for two months of fees after I left.Nice way of doing business, Charging for non-service, unauthorized use of bank accounts..Anyways, nice club.

Westside is a great value if you love tennis and swimming. The courts and pools are superb and the grounds are kept up very well. The bar and restaurant is another plus and because the place never feels crowded, you will never wait in line at the gym.The one negative (and the reason I am withholding five stars): change the music! It isnt bad but you need more variety! I have heard Billy Joel and Elton John more times than I can count!Also, put up a bulletin board where members can challenge each other to matches. I have had trouble finding tennis partners.

All I can say is Weeeeeeee! This place is fun for me and my Sugar Daddy. We play tennis, lift weights and so much more here. They have a country club atmosphere and you will love it! I even shook Matress Macs hand here one time and we talked about baseball.

This is not only my favorite athletic club in Houston but also one of my favorite innthe coubtey. They have everything you could absolutely want here. They have an amazing tennis facility that used to hold professional tennis gourbaments, gyms, a few pools and even exotic animals like girraffes and monkeys

Best place to find old millionaire and practicing tennis I love this

Im not sure where to start with this place. I want to like it after almost two years as a member, but I just dont. Sadly, I live nearby and there arent many other options for a gym. Lets start with the parking lot, it is absolutely awful. There is trash everywhere, a dumpster in the way when you are trying to drive, and they use the parking areas as storage for the never ending things going on at this club. Ive had to step over garbage on the ground, rusty nails, wood, Christmas supplies and countless other trash that for some reason cant ever be moved out of the way of parents and sometimes kids walking through. The water in the gym area is always empty and the gym staff is always never to be found or playing on their phones. Will the lazy river ever be completed? It was supposed to be done over a year ago, but still isnt complete and now summer is over. Recently while parking, my wife was gawked at by several construction workers in the parking lot who were just hanging out doing nothing. Typical behavior for low lifes like that, but for what we pay she should not have to endure that to go play tennis. They need to expand the size of the mens locker room. Ive been on the wait list for a locker for a long time and the guest lockers are always full. They keep adding memebers, but arent expanding the basic accomodations to with it. Bottom line, make sure you think twice before joining. Its not nearly as great to be a member as you think it will be when you tour. Most of the staff is fake nice during the sales process, but then rude after youre a member.

I love this place its amazing my daughter loved it for her birthday

I have been the memeber since last November.I registered as a family member.And I would say I love this place not only for the Tennis but also for the all the facility like work out, swimming, basketball, volley ball, soccer and even golf.This is the best place for playing tennis in Houston area and if you have kids, the kids care service cant be compared to any other sport complex.And Tennis lesson all the caoches are professionals and I would recommend PhiilipAnd Leslie if you just start tennis as you life time hobby.I am so happy to be a member here.Thanks.

Weve been members for 1 month and a half and it has been a good experience so far. Good yoga classes, good tennis courts, good gym, very good service at all the facilities. For now we are staying.

We have been members for about 1.5 years due to proximity to our house. I am upset about how they [do not] maintain their facilities and every time I have been in the last month, the gym is around 77F (4 deg above the AC set point) - I might as well go work out outside. The pools are also in the sun and water temps are quite warm - no place to escape the heat.This is a good concept, but poor execution. I feel they spend more money on keeping wild animals than they do on maintenance (would you rather see caged birds and monkeys or have AC?). Really disappointing. Any special events are so over crowded that you might as well not go - we likely wont renew.

Facilities are still high quality and the environment seems safe and clean

This used to be a tennis club. Now, it looks and feels like it is a zoo and a bowling alley with courts nearby. The club may be profitable now, but the management clearly doesnt care about tennis players.

Always friendly and the kids enjoy the Kids Zone. The exercise facilities and classes are top notch.

The facilities have gone down hill and its sad to see the grass and clay courts go. The loss of the Masters probably did this club in. Now its just another tennis facility but one of the better ones.

Family oriented, great for kids and adults, kids have fun, adults can get a great workout, and tennis courts and free classes... we love it
