Everyone was helpful. We were able to get the items needed really quickly with the support from the staff. I was happy to get in and out. When there were 3 customers waiting they opened another line to make for a smoother transaction.

Awesome art store, great for college students and aspiring artists. Products ranging from any paints, pencils, markers, poster boards, etc. There are also products and coloring books to keep the kids entertained as well.

The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. They have a HUGE range of supplies. Probably one of the largest in Houston. I love coming in and wondering though the aisles. This is my first stop when searching for anything with a certain niche.

The staff was super courteous and helpful. Let us browse but were on hand if we needed any assistance. The only thing was that the aisles were a little bit too tight for a wheelchair so we ended up bumping into a few of the aisles. Otherwise it was a great experience. Hopefully they will consider making their aisles a little but more ADA friendly.

Really lovely place if your looking for anything art related ! I was super happy to find out they carry the exact spray paints I was looking for and even more happier to know they had so many niche items I’ve been trying to find ! The guy at the counter was also very nice to me and I’m definitely shopping here again ! I even got a student discount which I didn’t know they did !

Was really excited to visit this store but very disappointed about the service that was provided or should I say NOT provided. We were not greeted when we walked in and were followed and watched by one of the workers the entire time we were shopping. Needlessly to say I put everything I had in my hands back on the shelves and we walked out empty handed but not before I told the worker that she needed to work on her customer service skills. I would not recommend.

I left this place because they had specific art supplies that I needed for a watercolor virtual workshop that the other art store didnt have. The people working there were also very informative about specific art supplies and helped me find exactly what I needed. Overall I had a great experience and that people there are very friendly knowledgeable and good people overall that will take the time to help you even though they are busy or close to leaving. I just love the large variety of art supplies that they carry and the prices are very reasonable as well like when you compare them to other stores youre getting pretty much the same deal so its good.

A great store whos supply and prices never disappoint! YES: they accept teacher & student ID for great discounts!!! The whole store is awesome, clean, calming, and almost all the workers are super nice. Almost all. This is the 2nd time Ive gone in the past 2 months, and both times, my cashier (same guy) seemed to be in the worst mood.

Its an amazing place. Students, teachers, artists and everyone else will definitely find something they can use. Maybe you will find a gift for a student, child or friend. Hard to leave without buying something. They have cute tote bags, soaps and credit card protector case among many other items.

Lots and lots of art/craft supplies. Sometimes I come here for odd items I cant find at my local hobby shop.

I enjoy sketching, and have done it intermittently over the years. Some months Ill sketch a lot, others not at all, but every single time I pick up the hobby again I come here, if only to pick up some pencils and a pad.Ive only ever been to this art supply store. I dont even know if there are any others. I cant say Ive ever left wanting more. The place is clean, the workers are friendly but also arent badgering you. Not to mention that youd be hard- pressed to not find what youre looking for. You could split the store in half and neither would go out of business.I dare anyone who enjoys making art to walk out of this store empty-handed.

This place is any creative persons heaven. Its like Target for the artistically inclined. Besides every craft and art supply you could ever need, they have cute gifts that you may or may not get several for yourself. Haha. Helpful staff and happy environment.

I am not an expert at all, I am a newbie trying to experiment and I actually enjoy painting. I went here, and found myself impressed with everything I could try, and boy am I going to. They have everything I didnt even knew it existed.

Texas Art Supply is probably the best art supply store in Houston! It has a wide variety of art supplies for beginners, professionals, and kids! They also have some artistic toys for kids, cards and some nice impulse buy items. Apart from having great items, the service here is fantastic! If you need help they are always more than happy to assist and can always find what you need. I definitely reccomend yku come here for all your art needs!

I always feel cool when someone asks what Im doing and I can say, oh, just running by Texas Art Supply to pick up a few things. Flashing my cool artsy smile! Truth is Im an artist want to be.BUT, Im on my way. I ran into a lady who read my mind......spray paint...you dont like it, or mess it up, spray over it!! Big return, not much effort! The guys that work there will help you out and not make fun of you or laugh out loud. There is so much to work with that there is something to tweak the artistic bone in everyone! Papyrus, Michaels, and Joanns has nothing on this place! You can find gift wrapping unique bags and tissue paper. There are so many great stickers if your kid is obsessed with stickers and coloring. There are great gift ideas hiding in this store, even if you dont know how to paint. As long as you appreciate art, this is a stroll for any art lover.

The employees at all the stores and on the phone orders do all they can to help you out. As an art teacher they give me great discounts for my students. This way I can buy them higher quality supplies to work with. Selection is good and there are several ways that I can receive my orders.

I really enjoy going to Texas Art Supply. I dont know if the staff appreciates me wandering around the store looking for inspiration. They have an amazing selection of art supplies and materials lots of open stock pencils, pastels and markers. I like to know where I can acquire open stock supplies so I can test with out buying a large set or refill used colors.

This store made me internally happy dance! I visited this store as part of a Wheres Waldo search for local businesses. There is ample parking for this standalone building. There were aisles and aisles of crafty possibilities that kept me grinning. I could easily spend hours just viewing the sheer volume of items. This will be my new craft store. If you can think of a craft project, youll likely find whatever supplies your heart desires here. There is also a massive toy section beckoning me to explore its wonders. I shall return!

Anything you can think of for art needs is here. What I loved is the atmosphere. Even the smell of the store when you walk in. I suggest going when traffic isnt horrible because it is in a busy area.

First time at this store, I was pleasantly surprised. I was shopping for watercolor supplies and they had all the items I was interested in and more. The variety of watercolor paper, paints and paint brushes is impressive. Will definitely return.
