I was interested in archery and starting reviewing about it, and I went to HAL to take the lessons. The place was very nice, my instructor, Matt was very nice, helpful, and informative. You can come in without buying equipment, and they give you equipment to use. I wish I could continue lessons with HAL, but I just came to Houston for vacation, and I live in Saudi Arabia. But once I go to Saudi, I will 100% take up archery!

If there was an option for ZERO stars, I would choose that instead of giving this unworthy 1 star. I’ve tried to make a phone call to request lessons for my son but I’ve NEVER been able to get a hold of anyone. Hard to believe this business is professional if they can’t simply answer customer calls.

Evan did a great job. He even convinced me to shoot lefty because of eye dominance! Was also really good with the kids.

Great class! My wife and I had good coaching and were able to pick up on the fundamentals quickly. The instructors are pretty hands on and guide you as needed once you get going to make sure you can fine tune what youve learned. Good for beginners and probably experienced archers as well.

We were just visiting Houston and thought we would get our son, who just started JOAD, a private lesson. Evan worked with our son and we saw immediate improvement so much so that we came back for a second session. I highly recommend the space and Evan in particular.

My girlfriend and I went with no archery experience. Eric, our instructor, was friendly and helpful. He offered advice throughout the lesson to help correct minor inconsistencies in form. He was a pivotal part of why we enjoyed our time at Houston Archery Lessons. The first thing we did after after leaving was plan our next trip.

I had a private lesson yesterday (04-06-18) with James. James is a great instructor. I only shot a bow and arrow twice before, a few years ago. James showed me everything I had to do to hit the target. I will be going back again.

I love going to west Houston Archery I been doing it for 5 months. I go on Saturdays to shoot JOAD and later for a lesson. I love my instructors and I get encouraged every day by my coaches and archery. I would recommend anyone who would like to shoot a bow. Simple intructions from then get you a long way.TOTALLY RECOMMEND TO ANYONE!!

We took our family in to get archery lessons and the instructor was fantastic. He was so positive and encouraging. He gave us simple directions and we had a great time. Highly recommended for a fun family activity or date night.
