We went out with Annie Millers grandson, Mark. Heckuva nice fellow and he gave us more than we bargained for. We got plenty close to gators and other wildlife that we dont have access to back home in Oregon. We wanted a feeling for life in a foreign land and Mark gave it to us. The weather was outstanding and Mark said its always like that down here... we still trust him anyway. We cant recommend this outfit any higher. Thank You, Mark.

Mr. Jimmy was an excellent tour guide. He took his time and showed us all kinds of plants, trees, water plants, birds and lots of alligators. I grew up in New Orleans & have been on other swamp tours but HE LOVES WHAT HE DOES & it shows. He had a great personality and was very informative. The tour in all was almost 3 hrs. He never rushed it and always made sure we got great pics and seen all that there was to offer. It was the best $20 I could have spent. We had a blast & I would HIGHLY recommend this tour!

My husband and I asked for a Sunday tour, and Jim took us out even though no one else joined our tour! Incredibly courteous and kind, Jim had all kinds of knowledge and stories to share. He found two big gators for us to see, and he fed them quite a bit of chicken right on the side of the boat. Awesome addition to the tour. The tour starts on the canal, but gets into the swamp pretty quickly (about 30 min in). Jim has good knowledge worth hearing about the canal and the local industries, also.If Jim isn’t available, then his son Mark will take you. Mark is awesome just like his dad. Highly recommended! It leaves from a great bar, On The Canal Bar, where we heard some great live zydeco music after.

We are a family of 4 with 2 teenage daughters. The whole family enjoyed the experience. We paid $20 each. This was our first swamp tour. The most important factor for us was alligator sightings. We saw 8 alligators up close. You will see about the same. Alligators are territorial so they stay in the same area. The largest was 10 feet long and the smallest was about 6 feet long. The guide calls them like pets and feeds them chicken from a pole. They were close and we got good action photos. The boat is open so we were exposed to the sun. It was hot and we went on the morning tour at 10am on a mild day (90 degrees and partly cloudy). I highly recommend the morning tour. Next time I will probably book a tour with a covered boat. The tour is on a public water way. Im not an expert on Louisiana swamps but it wasnt what I was expecting. Much of the trip is along a canal with houses on both sides. Because its a public waterway the gator population is impacted by hunting. Next time I will chose a tour that has private swamp access which should have more gators and a more authentic swamp experience. The guide was friendly and had decades of history in the area. We enjoyed his stories.

Mr. Jimmy gave us a great tour. He worked really hard to get us out to the gators in spite of challenging weather. He was very knowledgeable about the area, it’s history, and it’s wildlife. Comfortable boat and very reasonably priced. Would highly recommend this trip to anyone who wants to see the South Louisiana swamps and see some of it’s wildlife.

Brought a large group here. Family owned small operator with a fascinating family history. The owner has a person relationship with the gators, they actually come to the boat when they hear his voice. The respect he has for the wildlife and environment definitely won my respect.

Loved the tour and stories of Annie. Only negative was the comments about politics. He made sure all knew he was a Repuklatin.

Jimmy was our tour guide. He took us out on a flat bottom boat down a bayou then out into the swamp and marsh where he called in some gators and fed them chicken! Overall tour was about 2 hours cost was $20 per person. Saw abundant wildlife and learned a lot about the swamp and marsh of LA.
