We loved this home & tour! We received a personal tour & our guide was wonderful! Both of the women in the gift shop were extremely friendly & helpful! I am from Houma originally, but had never toured our own plantation home- it gave a lot of insight into early Louisiana life & culture and life on a sugar plantation. Beautiful on the inside as well. Lots of historic details & photos, & explained why the brick is pink for many houses in this part of Louisiana!

There is a festival held here ever year called VOW or voice of the wetlands. Do not miss it. They have it this weekend 10/13/3012.
