Even though this place was half shutdown because of COVID-- no audio or digital presentations, but plenty to read and see, and it was really great. Plus free during half shutdown, so hard to beat that. Staff is super friendly and have a crack at the scavenger hunt. Great place for kids.

Cool little museum. Loved the replica deportation cross. Right by the bayou. Bridge to cross and walk over to the big mural. Great area.

I had an amazing time there. It was a shower I attended for my first grandbaby and it was absolutely amazing. The tour itself is Amazing as well for I had taken part in it last year also. I recommend this place to anyone who wants to have a small elegant and humble gathering.

My grandson really enjoyed his visit here.

Small museum where you will lose track of time. lady staffer was nice & knowledgeable.

We had a perfect wedding here. Small and intimate but still big enough to accommodate all of our guests. We loved that our guests could tour the museum during our reception or sit outside on the porch. From the moment we went check out the museum as an option, all the way to the clean up after, Ms. Pearl was helpful, kind, sweet, and polite to us and our guests. We really enjoyed working with her. We had 60 guests, and we were all very comfortable.

Its nice but really small I think they should look for a bigger building

Really dont know anything about the museum to be honest. They close for special events with no notice. Drove 40 miles to find them closed for a special event. Their non-existent website has no information on it at all. When you click on website it takes you to a government site with no mention of the museum.

Would have loved to have checked it out but they werent open even though they were suppose to have been.

Great little museum in Houma, LaInteresting but viewing goes quick.

Our daughter had a great time learning all about Houma and our surrounding areas.

I stopped in yesterday when I was wandering around downtown. It was amazing, the lady at the desk was really sweat and gave me information for other great things to do in the area. It was sad though, I was the only person there. I wish more people could go in and experience the history of the bayou and it only $3. I mean take an hour out I your day and take the kids to see it, they would love it!

Great little museum with lots of information about the local community. It is also a beautiful place to hold a small event such as a small party.

Wonderful place to visit not very big but its free and educational and we had a blast there!!!

Great history museum. Good way to spend a couple of hours learning about the bayous and coastal fishing life of Terrebonne Parish.
