Great experience. Tranquility at its best. Megan was very nice and helpful with also letting you know places to visit. My room was nice as well and enjoyed the view of the sun rising.

Very old and outdated. Smells musty. Walls are paper-thin (can hear conversations and foot steps next door). No amenities other than a dock, which can use some repairs as well.. Sheets were dirty. Staff was rude. Not family friendly if you have little kids. No privacy. The patio is not private. It wraps around the building so anyone can walk through. We had to keep curtains closed at all times. Save yourself some $ and stay elsewhere. We were deceived by nice pictures on their website. Not what you actually see in reality.Only reason giving an extra star is for location. Its right on the lake. Unfortunately did not enjoy the view because we had to keep curtains closed for above mentioned lack of privacy.

I absolutely LOVED our stay. I have stayed twice now. The first time was when me and my now wife went on our first getaway. We loved our stay so much we stayed a second time. Each time we stayed it seemed we loved the place more and more. I highly recommend. I have zero complaints. We always stayed upstairs and on the end. It was quiet and so beautiful. You can walk out to the lake and sit on the dock and enjoy the morning or night. We always stayed at least two nights and the first time we left a few things hanging in the closet and the manager called us to let us know we forgot a few items. They’re respectful, considerate, and so very caring. I can’t say enough how great they were.

I booked with Long Island lake Resort trying to go with a locally owned hotel to help them instead of a big hotel company chain. Big mistake on my part. The Manager was really rude. She hang up on me two times. Very unprofessional place they should really look into who the have managing their hotel.

This was our first time staying here. We absolutely fell in love with the place. It is directly on Lake Hamilton. You can sit out on your balcony and watch the boats and jet skis on the lake. We had two queen beds which were comfortable. There is a microwave, cooktop, and a refrigerator. There are picnic tables by the lake side and a couple of grills. You can also go sit out on the deck and sun tan or just relax and watch the boats go by. Christy checked us in and she was very kind and courteous and informative about the area during the covid-19 crisis. We will definitely be back

Long Island Lake Resort is an old facility, that has been maintained with cost more in mind than customer satisfaction. There are good points of LIL is its located less than 20 yards from Lake M Hamilton. The room is comfy, the air works, fridge, microwave, and the 2 stove tops work well. The view is relaxing by itself. Family & pet friendly with a pet deposit, boat/pontoon boat rental is available at 1/2 day and full day options. Located about 5 minutes south of town, its close enough to access Spa Citys Bathouse Row.The lesser offerings are a firm tired mattress, narrow bathroom.

We stayed for couple of days while we visited Hot Springs and surrounding areas in Arkansas. It was clean, well maintained and had kitchen and utensils. You can relax and have great views of lake Hamilton from the balcony and sit out area in the back.

This place is de bomb. Woke up with a cup of coffee watching the sun rise looking at the hills of Arkansas.

This is a great place nestled right on the lake. The rooms are large. It was only me and my husband but the were out of singles so we got a double and immediately realized that this would be plenty of room for the whole family. There were 2 beds, a pull out sofa, a dinning table and a kitchenette. The lake is literally steps from the patio. There is a swimming deck and a nice pavilion on the water with tables and grills. Definitely a gem.

Nice clean accommodation with friendly staff. The lake is great for bathing and fishing straight off the jetty. We also enjoyed the BBQ facilities in the evening.

So the room is great location is great but the first issue the light doesn’t work in the kitchen then are neighbors upstairs sound like there going to come through the roof then are room smells like weed other than that everything was fine

The rooms here are amazing. The views are even better, and the service is hard to beat. Then when you realize they charge about $80 a night its honestly hard to understand. I almost didnt book it because it was so inexpensive I assumed it wouldnt be a high quality but I would have been sadly mistaken. Do not pass up this gem on Hamilton lake!

We were searching for lodging that was adjacent to the lake for fishing. Long Island Lake Resort provided that. The banks of Lake Hamilton are about 10 yards away. The downside is that most of the area is reserved for swimmers. The view of Lake Hamilton is awesome, beautiful estates line the banks. The property itself is old, with old plumbing fixtures. Our floor was made with the carpeted tiles,, similar to the 12X12 floor tiles. Our kitchen fixtures worked well, the shower head was fixed, and not flexible for adjusting the spray where you wanted it.

A friend recommended this place and we were not disappointed. Now we are recommending it to others. Not fancy or new, but it was clean, roomy, on the water with a great view of the sunsets. We stayed an extra day. Thats how much we enjoyed ourselves. The people were very nice and helpful. We will stay there again when we go back to Hot Springs.

Property really is a hidden gem, nice area right off the lake. Area for swimming in the lake,with a beautiful deck. Another area for bbq covered, and their own boat rental. Yhe views are stunning. The room was clean, and had a good view. There were only 3 things i wasnt completely satisfied with, there is a balcony, but its not private, it has beautiful view but awkward with neighbors sitting right outside your room, and sharing it with everyone. Second the bedding was very strange, the mattress has a plastic cover like for a child, and the sheets were so rough and extremely cheap, just not as comfortable as a normal hotel. Lastly there was only 2 forks and 1 knife in the room, with a mismatch broken coffee maker. Next time i would need to bring more items for the kitchen. However overall was a very pleasant stay and would recommend.

Meagan in the office went out of her way to make sure everything was perfect. Outstanding customer service! Other than cleanliness, that is the most important aspect of a stay. View of lake from the balcony outside our room was relaxing. Swim area with deck, right in front of property, was good for kids. Boats available to rent right at property. Location was easy to get to. Price was right. AC was cool (also important in the summer).

This is our go to spot to getaway from the fast pace city life. Truly peaceful and relaxing. I love looking at the lake and hearing the geese. If you want to relax and reflect this is the place for you.

Very nice place to stay on the lake. Rooms are lakeside with a swimming dock and a boat dock. They also rent boats, just reserve one in advance. We would definitely stay here again!

Pretty nice property right on the lake. Rooms are very spacious and the rooms have a porch with chairs overlooking the lake. My only real criticism is that things could have been cleaner...coffee pot had dirt and dead mosquitoes in it and there was a used towell left hanging on the back of the bathroom door.

My family has a family reunion every 2 years with relatives traveling from Austin, Dallas, St.Louis, and the Memphis areas not to mention a few other states. LONG Island Lake Resort offered reasonable rates, friendly and courteous staff, clean facilities that are located within feet of Lake Hamilton! The rooms were nicely decorated and had comfortable beds with more than enough pillows not to mention extra pillows, sheets, and blankets in the closet if needed. The kitchenette had everything we needed to cook a meal as if we were in the comforts of our own home from pots and pans, can opener, all ur basic dinner dishes and utensils, ect ! Balcony had a table, chairs and an ashtray to be able to sit and take in the beautiful view of the lake and they also provided all the ice we needed all weekend long for free with their industrial size ice maker. The only reason Im rating it 4 stars instead of 5 is because #1 I really wish they wouldve had a pool because Im petrified to swim in anything other than a swimming pool as is a few of my other family members and we wouldve enjoyed being able to swim also, #2 I wish they wouldve had phones in each room, that wouldve been very convenient for us to call one another when we needed and #3 the Wi-Fi there was really really bad! Those 3 things are my only dislikes but in my opinion those things are not worth staying someplace else. Our family will most definitely be back in 2 years. Great view to lake. Great room. Had an issue with the drain but the owner move us to another available room. Had a bottle of wine with my wife. At the porch watching the sunset. It was a great night. Next time ive wish to stay longer.

What a wonderful place to stay at Lake Hamilton We arrived on a Friday afternoon and when Monday morning came and time to leave I kept wishing we could stay longer. Everything was what we were looking for. The only negative might be the bathroom vanity area is very small. However I am used to using the desk with my makeup mirror for putting on my makeup. Most women might like to make note of this so they can plan accordingly. The very large closet had the mirrored doors which was nice and thats what I used for combing my hair. We looking forward to our next visit back to Long Island Resort.

I love this place. Its quaint but it has been clean and comfortable every time we visit. I/ we will stay there again. My only comment is to offer a 99 dollar a day boat rental when people stay multiple days. You might rent more boats and fill the rooms more often if you loss leader the boat rentals.

Booked a last minute stay here online not realizing that the office closes at 6:00. Jill called me almost immediately to let me know that the office wouldnt be open, but which room we were in and with instructions on how to access the room. We got in with no problem and really enjoyed our stay. The room was surprisingly large and the beds were perfectly soft. Loved the full kitchen setup and the balcony was amazing. The view was incredible. Overall, a nice, comfortable stay.

Great view right on the lake

Came to Hot Springs for the horse races and wanted some place affordable but nice. We were very pleasantly surprised! Nice large room right on the lake, with two queen beds, a couch that makes a bed, a table with 4 chairs, and a nice kitchenette with everything we needed. The bathroom was a little tight but it was adequate. We will definitely be staying here again!

Rooms were clean and nice. The whole back of the building is a huge patio that each room opens out to - right on the lake, beautiful view. Kitchenettes are nice. Staff was friendly.

Visited Hot Springs for one night for an appointment early on a Monday morning there. Didnt spend much time there other than to sleep and wanted to stay somewhere nice, quiet & peaceful. The stay was everything I wanted except for the air conditioner in our room did not work so great so we had to keep the back door open all night to keep from sweating. But the staff were very friendly, never bothered me & offered to let us stay however long we needed to Monday since we did not get in until late Sunday night. We would have definitely taken him up on that offer if we didnt have to drive 10 1/2 hours home & be at work the next day. Our stay was perfect minus the air conditioner issue so we will be back!

Great place more than i expected especially for the price

My wife and I went here for our wedding anniversary and we absolutely LOVED it. Room was clean, staff was friendly and courteous, location to Hot Springs was perfect, views of the lake right from our room. We will definitely stay here again.

This is one of the best places I have stayed in Hot Springs! Right on the water, you can rent a boat, and everyone who works here are amazing! I will always stay here when I come to Hot Springs. 5 star experience for an unbeatable price! Also, pet friendly!! You just wont find better.

We enjoyed the view.. bathroom was to small and the guest in the room above us was very noisy and stomping both nights no good rest

The room quality was quite nice, with two small exceptions: Handicap accessibility to the rooms was limited, and we found the staff to be generally unavailable after/before normal business hours. Otherwise, this was a nice place to swim and sleep and cook out hamburgers on a charcoal grill. We had a pretty nice stay.

Great location, affordable price, breathtaking view. We stopped here on our way back to Texas on Spring Break when 70% of the hotels were booked the staff was very accommodating and even gave us two rooms next to each other. The rooms are nice, not luxury but nice. The bathrooms are small and could use new tubs and vanities but are not too bad with new tile and paint. The room was clean and well kept. I cant speak for the kitchenette as we only stayed one night but we will definitely be coming back in the summer! Im already planning our trip!

I have stayed at The Long Island Lake Resort about 30 different nights in the last 3 years. I am from Dallas my folks live in Arkansas. I love the location right on the lake. Also on 7 south one of the first resort coming in from Dallas. The rooms are large with comfortable beds. I enjoy the kitchenette , its nice to have some healthy food in the frig while traveling. Wonderful swim dock also boat slips and boat rentals. I have met very interesting guest during my stays. The staff has always been helpful. Its the only place I stay now if they have vacancies. great value. Affordable Price right on the water. I have seen beautiful moon rises over the water. I love it here peaceful and in nature still close to the Racetrack and Downtown.

Location location location, isn’t that what makes any place? On the water, fish from the dock. The rest of the city and it’s attractions are within minutes driving.The fish weren’t biting is my biggest complaint. Lol

The resort is right on a lake with a dock for swimming and fishing. Great place to relax and the staff that works there is awesome. Lee was out feeding the ducks and interacting with guests. My toddler son had a blast there and we will be back!

We stayed here for a weekend in June. Stay was perfect. The resort was right near the water. It has a boating dock, swimming area, picnic shelter. Room was nice, has a kitchenette. Bathroom is a bit small, but was not a problem. Close to everything you need. All the restaurants are nearby. Staff were really nice. Would love to go back again.

Needs a remodel old and outdated. The bathroom was so small you had to go in close the door just to use the toilet. The flat screen TV was the smallest one they could find. The lake was beautiful thats the only thing I could say nice about the Long Island Motel. Just because its on the lake in Hot springs doesnt make it a a Resort !!!

Nice location on the lake, nice view. The parking situation is a joke. 16 units and just 20 parking spaces, 3 of which would be considered compact. The purpose of my trip was to ride my motorcycle in the area. In August I trailer my bike because on the day I arrived the temp was 103 in the city. The place they provide for trailer parking is unclear and unmarked away from the property. It was also filled by two boat trailers making it impossible to park another without someone being blocked. The place itself was typical Hot Springs 70s mod but OK. I would not have booked and paid their high price if I had known parking would be such a problem. Ruined my trip.

Great location but the hotel needed total remodel.. Our room was clean but furnihed with what looked like 1970 furnishings. The bbq pits and pavilion areas were not kept up. Price was good..

We visit Hot Springs every year. We have tested a few new places looking for one just right for our family since my kids are now teenagers and need a bit more space. I am happy to say we found it here and will be returning. It is a perfect mix of modern amenities anyone expects along with the charm of a perfectly hidden gem full of hospitality and kindness. They were very accommodating and went out of their way to meet our needs. We travel a lot and sometimes its the simplest things that make a stay worth it. This place had them all. In fact, my husband and I had our morning coffee on the patio overlooking the lake and planned our next visit here in just a couple of months. We are an hour away from the Branson area but will happily make the five hour drive just to stay here over Tablerock Lake. Oh yes, and how can I forget, we had the best sleep here and managed to sleep in until 9 am!!! We typically get up at 4 am to go to work so this was amazing!! Thank you to the property personnel and management for a truly wonderful stay. You feel more like family here than a customer.

Our family has been coming to this resort for five years, and this has been the worst experience. We experienced bed bugs in one room, a water leak in a closet that resorted in belongings being damaged, and poor service. One of our family members encountered the bed bugs while they were sleeping, several of them crawling on and around them. When the manager was alerted, he did not care nor did he close off the room to future guests. If you are wanting to have a peaceful vacation, do not spend your time here.
