We had an amazing stay! The owner was super friendly. If he sees you sitting outside he will come by to make sure everything is going well. The rooms were beautiful. We will definitely be going back!

Diane Oceanfront Suites is the best place to spend vacation time on Hollywood Beach. The building was completely rebuilt one year ago, it is oceanfront, it is super clean and the cost is very affordable for a great vacation.

I really enjoyed my stay, however I wished that there were two TVs in the suite as well as an on-site manager (24 hours).

Love the newly remodel rooms. Great location.

Most Family friendly,. .and welcoming Staff,..all newly refurbished, .. and of course,---Location, Location Location,... at the heart of the Boardwalk activity and entertainment.

Awesome and luxurious

The Diane is Permanently closed! After hurricane Irma. It was a nice place right in front of Hollywood blvd right in the middle of the action nearby restaurant and stores - front beach wheelchair access and the prices were worth it - a lot of sand and water damage is appreciated in the pictures - the structure must have had damage as well - so sad to see this motel go - hopefully they built a nicer one

I called the number listed on 9 March 2019 and the recording said that the number has been disconnected. They are closed for renovation now. I look forward to seeing what the finished results look like. Hopefully it will be done soon.

Large room with kitchenette . parking 25 .00 but a big plus since its right outside room. can be late night guests parting right outside room on deck late night be prepared. great location. Office and staff only there business hours. can be a big problem after hours. Very dated. but like I said you get what you pay for. STAFF is very PLEASANT .

Hotel is ok, view is one of the best on the board walk, rooms do need to be updated but owner and staff are very pleasant. Hot water takes about 10 minutes and we had to turn on the hot water in all sinks (kitchen and bathroom sink and shower but water still took 10 minutes) Staff obviously know about this since they are the ones that told us to turn them all on. I would rate it a 2.5 (Fridays and Saturdays are noisy not so much from Nicks bar and grill next door but from the one nighters that come in and pack 10 people in a room, Same thing that happened last year so it is a trend. if you are looking for a little more privacy stay on the top if you want more sun exposure stay on the bottom floor, Views are great on both all rooms. I would stay here again for the view, beach access and friendly owners and staff

Love the upgrades

Pretty ruff place. Hotel staff was nice. Owner clearly does not take care units. Just walk into the office and you will know what rooms look like. It could be a amazing place if they spent a few bucks renovating. Location is awesome as its in the center of everything. Owner thinks having bathrooms from the 70s.. Im 59 and I had to bend down to take shower as the shower heads are so low. Cabinets are falling apart. Bring your own air mattress as beds are like sleeping on concrete and roll around. I could go on for days. Again if you okay with all the above great location

I was amazed to open my door and have the beach at my doorstep, live music, various choices of fantastic food... And well behaved people..If u are on a budget, then this is the place to stay as u have all u may need to cook and couple places to buy groceries and eat at home..100%+ recommended!!!!Will be back for sure!!

Large comfortable rooms just beside the Boardwalk or Broadwalk as they call it there in Hollywood and overlooking the ocean. Excellent access to beach, inland waterway and to trolley. The Kitchen was great for taking breakfast, preparing simple lunch or dinner and storing beverages and leftovers.

Its a motel not a five star resort. It was right on the beach. Very convenient. YOU WILL NOT GET FIVE STAR SERVICE but while they are there they will provide what you need. Office closes early. One terrible thing I have to say is that you have to pay $25 for parking per night and you can only have one car.

I arrived mid week so I called the hotel to see if the room was ready before their listed check in time. I was told it was. I arrived and was told it wasnt ready, but that they would give me an upgrade and that that room was ready. Their internet was slow so it took a while to get things printed, but they were very nice. I like that the TV was mounted and could swivel between the 2 beds since I slept in one and laid on the other one when I was in there watching TV.

Not a good experience, parking. Lot for second floor rooms a block away to make it worse was taken, mirror from.the wall fell, AC broke, building old needs maintenance. Parking fee $ 25 per night.Price to high for such a horrible place. I would no recomend. Only good thing was the location.

The stay was wonderful and they let us check in early. Staff was very nice for it being the 4th of July holiday.

Good hotel, nice and quiet, what I did not like is the parking fee of $25.00 per day per car, this fee should be part of the information in the Expedia Web site so you know the extra charge before you booked this motel.

Its all about location . Open the door to your room walk the width of the deck in front of you about 15 feet you are on the boardwalk which is about 10 wide and probably 3 miles in length paved and flat. Next is the sand about 30feet from the boardwalk is the ocean. The view is unobstructed all sand a few palm trees. Every restaurant around is cheap an ice cream cone for 1.00 a pitcher of beer and a large pizza 14.99.breakfast 4.99 Just about a block down is a shell where they often time is music and other activities. Easy access,centrally located just up from Miami down from Fort Lauderdale which are 10 minutes either way and about 10 minutes to 95. The rooms are a throw back to the 60s but are clean. Who cares for what you have outside your door is exceptional in everyway. Lots of Canadians wintering at the hotel and other hotels. It is an older crowd very safe.Enjoy

A little deceiving in the price.. once there you have to pay extra 25.00 per day parking. also the office is not always open , so if you need any thing you have to do it while they are open. I had a situation where the wind shut the door with keys inside . thank god i had extra key in the car had to call to get car unlock cause after 6;00 pm no one in office. and no phone to contact owner

Staff is unfriendly its all about money. First thing is parking fees must be paid in advance. They expected us yet the stove was not working and they knew it! Bed sheets are hard mattress with a hole refrigerator is full of rust toilet seat looks awful it needs replacing. You must run hot water for ten minutes before you shower. Otherwise good beach and view.

The people were friendly, the room was clean, the price was right, and it was just a few steps away from the beach and from a very good restaurant.

I would give this place a zero if possible. No one is available at night. There were some guest that were playing music extremely loud at midnight and no motel staff to help. Great location, but terrible service. Do not stay here.

Good, for those of you who just passed by and thought it was a dump, keep thinking like that. That way, I can keep it all to myself. Diane Motel is great. You can just keep the door open and watch people pass by on the broadwalk, No other hotel in the area, even the time share condos have this awesome view. The rooms are all facing the ocean. I have stayed in the Hollywood Beach Hotel just at the end of the broadwalk, and it does not have the view. Not to mention the location. Like some other person said, you are right next to Nicks where everything is going on. It is the hot spot on the Broadwalk.

These classic small family owned hotels on Hollywood beach are what is left of beautifully shabby chic historical hollywood from days gone by. Already it is disappearing fast and the bulldozers have been busy, large dusty flattened lots lay like a wasteland, where once stood Art Deco motels from the 20s and 30s, now are just rubble......Ive stayed in many of these wonderfully exciting motel/hotels on Hollywood beach, each with their own style and character.One motel even has a swimming pool with windows in your kitchen, giant thick round portholes displayed vague hazy fluid figures doing the back stroke.Typical morning on this beach....you wake up early because the light is magical and the oceans waves outside your window glistens with salty vigor. After a warm dip and some laps in the water, you get on your bike, a pink cruiser and cycle a block or two to the french cafe on the beach, while sipping your morning coffee , you people watch on the cosy, beach level board walk. musicians buskers tunes waft on the wind from up the beach. you then take a cycle the other way north and past green patches and dunes, and feel like invigorated.leisurely afternoon…..lunch is on your hotel patio,which overlooks the boardwalk and beach. You invite your friends and they cant believe that your window is a few yards from the ocean waves. When it gets too hot you retreat into the mall and do a spot of shopping as light diminishes, a band plays on the band stand, you hit the gym, drink some cocktails and enjoy any number of restaurants, bars and cafes all along the promenade.Enjoy these treasures while they still exist maybe somehow we can try to preserve one of Hollywood floridas jewels.

This place is In great location right on the beach you can go swimming and right into your room cause the door is infront of the beach, its a close walk to margaritavill and lots of bars and Resteraunt on the board walk

This is an old hotel thats outdated, however its clean, the staff is friendly and the view will take your breath away.

Right on the water, near many restaurants and the theater where there would be live music. The room was very clean and the staff was nice.

WOW Some French Canadian says what a dump as walking by...He didnt even stay there! Does any one review these reviews for validity? Look, the Diane is not a 5 star hotel with 5 star service and this is why I only rated those items as good.....the rooms are decent and do have a kitchen which is a plus....but what you can not beat is the location. When the Sun rises and you open your door in the AM there is the sun lighting up the ocean, sparkling like a diamond. You are literally right next to Nicks Bar which has some great service, nice people working there and awesome Rum-runners. You are within walking distance to Le-Tub an extremely rare restaurant that was once rated as having one of the best Hamburgers in the country. A short walk from there is Capones Flicker lite Pizza which has some awesome pizza. You can sit outside right on the Inter coastal and watch the boats go by if you wish....feed the catfish LOL. You are within walking distance to the infamous Haagen-Daz Ice cream. Listen...Ive stayed at the nicer hotel with a room over looking the ocean on the 10th floor with the valet parking and free breakfast but let me lay out a scenario for you, You gather all your beach things, walk down the long hallway to the elevator, take it down ten floors, cut through the cold lobby, outside past the bar get to the beach and get all set up and now one of the kids have to pee! The Diane may not be a 5 star hotel but you open your front door and you are literally 20 away from the beach! In my opinion the location is 5 star and blows away any other fancy highrise hotel. If you are on business OK maybe you want a fancy hotel but if you want a unique beach vacation....this spot is hard to beat!

Clean rooms and all have ocean and beach views.

We were charged for damages for things that were already damaged prior to our taking the room .the Secretary could not justify the charges and added up 350.00 for things that would of been way beyond the charges. We will be disputing these charges and returning for a court appearance. unauthorized charges are against the law.

Super convenient location right on the beach, great views from the room and balcony. Unit was very clean, staff was super friendly. Only minor downside- we had a kitchenette but no dish soap? We probably could have asked for it but we purchased at the nearby store without realizing it was outrageously priced. Overall- highly recommend and would stay again!

Der erste Eindruck war schrecklich. Ein heruntergekommenes Motel, Aber an einer super Lage. Alles in desolatem Zustand, Betten in Plastic eingepackt und bei jeder Bewegung ein lautes Quitschen. Der Boden war glitschig und penetranter Javelgeruch.zum Glück konnten wir die Türe öffnen, Richtung Meer für frische Luft.

Die Lage vom Hotel ist sehr schön, Sonnenaufgang.- und Untergänge können perfekt beobachtet werden! Leider können wir keinen weiteren positives über den Zustand des Hotel und Setvics mitteilen. Einrichtung veraltet und eine Scharbe wurde auch gesichtet....

Ausstattung veraltet, aber sauber. Sehr gute Lage am Strand mit sehr gutem Strandblick. In der Umgebung gibt es viele Läden und Restaurants.
