I had so much fun playing Merlins Wizarding Academy and want to come back for Operation Save Hollywood! The rooms have their respective challenges, but they wouldnt be fun if they were easy! The puzzles and riddles are well thought-out and detailed, and with some critical thinking and/or help from the staff, like Michael, I was able to breeze through. :) Will definitely come again in the future with friends! The best part is that Boxroom has a strict COVID procedure in which they sanitize everything thoroughly after each room plays. I felt very safe playing here and really enjoyed myself!

It was 7 of us and we did the pirate room. It was sooooo much fun! We had a blast and it was challenging. It took all of us to complete it and we still needed help in the end.

Great place! Great employees! I went there my first time had no idea what to expect and had a lot of fun. Go with friends or Co-Workers itll be a fun experience. And shout out to the people who work there answering all the questions we had. They were very nice and caring.

This isnt my first escape room, but I had the best time ever. Michael and James were great and the rooms were high tech. I will be coming back soon, highly recommended.

We had SO much fun at Boxroom. Themes of the rooms were fun, it was challenging, and we made it out with four minutes to spare!

We were unsure about doing an escape room right now with the virus, but we love them so we gave it a go. I must say, Boxroom always does it right. Everything was clean, we were the only ones there, and it felt super safe. The Haunted Pirate Shipwreck is the best escape room weve done in South Florida.

Wish we knew about the discounts ahead of time we would of ordered more than one room. The Pirates room came along pretty well. Some stuff didnt open even though it was answer corrected otherwise had a great time

We did The School of Sorcery and we were able to escape, though I think they did give us a bit of leeway on the time for the last puzzle due to the technology involved being a bit imprecise. I think as long as you get to the part, you pretty much win the game.

Friendly staff, kids 13-7 had a blast. Had a great time as a family!

We had a terrific time, lots of laughter and challenging tasks that we haven’t seen in other escape rooms! We didn’t finish in time but loved it regardless! If we happen to be back in town, we will definitely visit again!

My family loved these challenging rooms. Such fun! Elizabeth made it even more enjoyable with her friendly welcoming personality. We dud all three but think the pirate was the easiest. Try it you will love it!

My daughter just went with some friends. All were 11 and under.She had an amazing time. She said it was so wonderful and wants to go back.The only reason she didn’t give a full 5 stars was because she said the voices were creepy. My suggestion is find a way to make the experience less creepy when little ones are participating.Overall I’ve not seen her come back from a friend event this excited - so thank you.

Fun afternoon with girlfriends! Challenging room but were able to escape with a couple of clues from the moderator. Fun times!!

Was an amazing night with my bestie & God friends, will definitely be doing it again & to anyone wanting to do it, I would recommend this place, atmosphere was great, detail was great, & the challenging puzzles had us guessing at every turn, but once you get the hang of it & begin figuring it out, everything starts falling into place! My and my friend completed two rooms. The wizarding academy and the haunted pirate ship. Both are amazingly designed and unique. 10/10 would recommend for a rainy day!

This place is so fun! I got an hour with my mom on the haunted pirate ship. We got puzzled at times but Elizabeth was so helpful and fun to talk to before and after the amazing time we had ! Im Soo coming back for the others!

We took two families with 5 kids and 5 adults. It was a blast. We did two rooms. The puzzles were interesting and fun for all the kids. The wizard and save Hollywood rooms were not scary and kid appropriate. The staff were polite and helpful. The area also has plenty of eating locations so you can make an afternoon of it.

Great experience. We did the hardest room and we really enjoyed it. Great plan to do with family and friends. Super recomendable

We are a family of 4 with 2 boys (13 and 11 years old) and we did the Haunted Pirate escape room and had a great experience. The decorations and ambiance were great. It had the perfect difficulty level for us, we got out with only a couple minutes to spare.

What a wonderful experience! The young staff were very kind and helpful, they added to the experience. The place is new, neat, and adventurous. Since it was our first time at an escape room, we werent sure exactly what to expect. The friendly staff were respectful of our every need and we appreciated it so much. The escape room was challenging for us as we had to keep asking for hints. Aside from that, it was fun to explore for clues and put our brains together to determine a solution. Lots of laughter and memories, we will be back again at this same location!

It was fun and exciting and challenging to try to figure out the clues. We were in the spy game trying to save the whole city from vaporizing with a nuclear bomb. Our mission was to find the clues that would lead us to the hidden bomb so that we could disarm it and save our city!! Unfortunately, we all perished...lol!! But we had a blast! (Pun intended)

We had a great time. The host Justin was kind funny and great at setting the theme for the room. This was our first time and we definitely plan on returning. Oh and the surprise at the end was pretty damn cool too. Dont worry, I dont believe in spoilers.

Went today with my family and another family with elementary school aged children. Wonderful experience. Justin was great running our room with our kids. Did the Merlin room, easily the most enjoyable, most organized, and the best at leveraging technology of the 4 Ive done (other venues, in other states). Loved it.

Came here with my family on the last day of our Florida vacation and we had a blast!! The rooms were challenging but not overtly difficult so it was perfect for everyones first time. Big thanks to Briana for making us feel welcome and being an overall great host.

We had my daughter’s 7th Birthday party at Boxroom Escape Games last year. 13 kids and 10 parents. Unlike all other kids parties boring for parents this one was a real family fun when we did Merlin’s, Pirate’s and Spy’s escape rooms together with children. Boxroom also brought a birthday cake, hid a card at an escape room, and after doing rooms and eating cake kids hung out at the lobby riding a virtual reality attraction and playing board games for a couple more hours. Highly recommend for any private party or event, or children’s party 7 and up!

Checked out Boxroom for the second time - brought some friends along with me because I had such a great time the first time. Played the O:SH room and IT WAS SO MUCH FUN! The owner/manager, Jennifer, was awesome. I would highly recommend this company’s rooms for everyone. Great design and great puzzles. Tons of fun.

As someone who has done many escape rooms in the past I was excited to try out a new escape room I hadn’t done before. I did the Haunted Pirate one. It had poorly designed puzzles where you had to just guess what to do next with no hints as to what to do in order to proceed forward. I don’t want to say so as not to spoil.It also felt like the people monitoring were not paying attention to us. When we’d ask for hints we’d have to elaborate where we were or when they did they would say something we’ve already done which wasted more time. They didn’t even know we finished the room until we asked for a hint. We waited for 10 minutes looking around for another clue after we got the treasure with no indication that we could actually leave. When we asked the monitor they said they were answering a call. There shouldn’t be so little people working that the person monitoring us was taking calls and not knowing that people beat the game 10 minutes ago...Also there needs to be a timer because without one there is barely any suspense. It seemed very low budget for the price, especially when you have Fox in a Box in Miami that is around the same price and is leagues better.

We did “Operation Save Hollywood” and the Pirate room - both extremely well decorated with well thought out and unique puzzles. No clues either time and we surprised the staff each time with our amazing teamwork! #dreamteam! We’ve done a bunch of rooms and enjoyed both of these and are looking forward to the new rooms and the new location in Midtown Miami!

Awesome experience. The attendant was great, too. We asked for so many clues and he didn’t get mad about our idiocy even once. Very , VERY high quality game, too. Very interactive. We did the Haunted Pirate Ship, and it was challenging and exciting for the both of us. Highly recommend this gem.

My wife and I took our little boy to play the magical room. We had a lot of fun and really enjoyed the attention to detail of the room. Staff was a pleasure and made sure we had a great experience from start to finish. Our son had a lot of fun and the surprise we got from winning the game was an awesome touch. We will definitely be back to play the other rooms they have!

Something different to try... out of video games and violent stuff.... great opportunity to interact with your kids or friends and sharing problem solving skills. Will definitely come back to escape the next adventure!! :)

Had a great time! 7 family members went in the age rage of 11 to 72 and everyone enjoyed it. It was everyones first time and we did the Merlins escape room. It was perfect for our first escape room. Justin was working and explained everything to us and was great.

What a fun place. We just finished a 7 day cruise and needed to kill time before a flight. Great way to spend an hour with my wife and kids (8 & 6). We “ESCAPED” with about 15 minutes to spare.Great experience and great staff!

The lady at the front did an excellent job. I apologize but I forgot her name. Didnt get to the review for a few days. Very happy with the experience. We did the Wizard & the Pirate rooms while we were there.

We did the Merlins room with 5 kids (12 years and under) and 2 adults. We were able to solve the room with 12 minutes to spare and using about 3 hints. We wanted to make sure we finished so we took the hints . If was a lot of fun. Half of our flashlights died on us though and at least one of the puzzles was not intuitive, there was nothing suggesting you should do that. I dont want to give it away. It would have been nice to see more to do with the treasure at the end too. The operator was very nice and friendly.

My daughter celebrated her 12th Birthday here with 6 of her friends. They has such a great time. This plus local pizza made an awesome party.

We visited the Boxroom escape room with the family and our friend’s family. This is my second time at an escape room. Most of the other family members have never been to an escape room before. The ages ranged from 10 to 60. We visited two rooms at this location in one day. We only planned to visit one room initially but because some of the puzzles in the first room were not set up right, we were given a good discount for the second room and decided to take it. The only reason for giving 4 stars rather 5 is because one or two puzzles have malfunctioned. Other than that, the rooms were a lot of fun. We also liked the location because of many nice restaurants around. Overall it was a great experience.

Brianna is the best. I have been here 4 times and this was the best because she was here. Highly recons going when she is here

Took my girlfriend for a date to Boxroom when we were in South Florida and we had a wonderful time. We did 2 escape rooms while we were there. The wizard room was awesome, my girlfriends favorite. We also did the pirate ship room which was a lot of fun too. The rooms were very well designed and had some very nice touches that made you feel like you were there. We cannot wait to come back and try the last room!

We are a family with 3 kids 7-8 yrs old, and when we came, we were told the room was family and child friendly. two of our kids are under 8, so they got in free. but after we came inside the room we realized it was too much for the kids. it was like a haunted house and the kids got scared. we couldnt concentrate on solving any puzzles, because our kids were crying, wanting to leave. our family was kind, trying to make the best out of the bad situation. but when we asked the manager, nick, for at least a partial refund, he told us that our kids were the problem and that it wasnt his fault that they couldnt handle it. we werent satisfied with his response, so he told us we were never to come back. and for sure we wont.

Great place we just walked in off the street to enquire about prices but justin was very helpful and we got a room straight away.We did the Hollywood game and had a great time. Justin made sure we got the full experience by helping us along the way when we were stuck.Highly recommend..

It was so much fun! Great for groups because you have to work together to solve the problem. Different theme rooms, help with clues if you get stuck and a picture of your group which was nice.. Loved it!! Were planning our next visit already.Okay for kids but at least 8 and up and if they dont scare easily..The room is timed and everyone is running around crazy looking for clues.. that can overwhelm the younger ones..Had a blast!!! Great idea for a tween or teen party they think theyre so smart

We had a Birthday party in Box Room for for 10 teens last week. All kids loved it! They been full of emotions when escaped the rooms!They spent 3 hours in 3 different rooms. Plus they played new technology reality attraction .It was really cool and kids was occupied for long time and parents can enjoy TV and coffee:)Stuff is really nice and helpful. As additional Stuff organized decoration and pizza for the party. Highly recommended for teens and adults!

I brought my wife and daughter while on a shore excursion from our cruise. At first I thought doing an escape room might be a waste of our 8 hours here but these guys proved me wrong. As someone formally unfamiliar with escape rooms I can say that its worth every dime. Its like a mini theme park!!

I loved it! We did Merlins escape room and it was really fun. The puzzles are really interesting and it was all around a nice experience. The girl running the front desk was really nice! We got there early and still found things to do to pass the time! Make sure you dress up to get your picture taken! If you like escape rooms I recommend this one. The room was very well themed, the puzzles were pretty intuitive, theres a few pieces that are ment to throw you off so you gotta watch out for that! Our room could be completed with 2 people, we did it with 3.

Jennifer, the manager, helped us out because it was our first time and we were gonna do the hardest one but she told us it’d be better to start off with something in between. Me and my friend went to Merlins Wizard Academy room and we loved it! Its so much better to stimulate your brain sometimes instead of just spending your night in front of a TV. Perfect for a date night too. The ambience and staff makes you feel like you really are in a Wizards academy :) thank you guys!

Super fun experience! Came here with my family, including one in a wheelchair, and had a blast. The lady there (probably owner) was very nice and enthusiastic from the moment we walked in the door. You even get a picture taken with props and whatnot! I accidentally broke one of the props and though she seemed really concerned, she was still very nice about it. I would come back again and do a harder room if I lived near here!

Well, let’s just say, thank god for Alexis and Ashley (both staff) that made it possible to enjoy the entire experience. They gave us hints when we were stuck— that really made it that much more great! We completed the Pirate room and it was So much fun! It was tricky but overall so so so much fun! The staff was super friendly and we even revived printed photograph of the experience ! I would recommend everyone to try it out (esp adults) and we are going back to try the other rooms!

We did the wizard escape room and it was lovely. A very lovely staff! A beautifully done room with so many cool effects and no jump scares or anything scary. We had a lovely time and plan on going back!

Just completed the last of the 3 choices @ Hollywood Location with my daughter who is 9 her best friend and her mom. We started with the easiest room months ago and made our way to operation saving Hollywood today. So much fun each one in its own ways

My staff and I had a team building event at boxroom and it was awesome! The rooms were immersive. The puzzles were very in-depth as well. My staff worked together as a great team and were even talking about the experience well after we were back into the office. I have seen better communication and teamwork in the office as a result. I could not thank Boxroom enough for the boost in moral and work ethic my company has gained.

I took my boyfriend for his birthday last night. We did the Haunted Pirate Ship escape room. This was our first escape room experience. He really enjoyed the room even though we didnt make it out in less than 60 minutes. He was reluctant to ask for hints or clues earlier so we wasted too much time. The clues were super helpful and made the experience a lot more fun. We will return again in the future. It was fun, engaging, and very clever. I am suggesting it for a corporate team builder at work.Thank you Alexis for being super nice and very friendly! You ROCK!!!

If you enjoy problem solving and riddles, this place is a fun way to spend an hour. The staff is super friendly and they were efficient in getting our game started at our scheduled time even though they were busy. Definitely make a reservation, they do a brisk business and may or may not have any availability for a walk in. And if you get stuck during the game, dont ask for a hint, those are for losers.

Entertaining spot and good place for groups.

My wife and I went to play the escape rooms on a date and it was awesome. My wife felt like a real princess in the castle room. Next time we will bring more friends and try their harder room! Cant wait!

Had an awesome time at Boxroom! The attention to detail was incredible! The animatronics combined with the props and puzzles definitely made this a place to remember. I would highly recommend this place to anybody looking for an hour of fun!!! When I went, there were 3 rooms, but more are in the works. Will definitely be going back. P.S. your kids will LOVE it!
