A very nice trail you can walk in nature as well as beach front. However with all the storms and rough seas, the blowing rocks have been for the most part covered in lots of spots. Still a Beautiful place to visit.

Went at high tide and on a stormy day. Only parking for a dozen cars but worth it if you can get a place. The water is forced into the rocks creating mini blow holes. Sand is black unlike the white/pink elsewhere in Florida, and take water shoes if want to walk on the rocks as flip flops not suitable.

Google maps has location wrong! Park is closed as of 6/8/2020. Now thats out of the way, you can park at Coral Cove Park and walk to the blowing rocks on the beach, its about a mile walk to the north. Best time to go would be at high tide, probably better during a storm in the Atlantic to kick the waves up a bit. Either way you see it its still pretty cool.

Beautiful beach, beautiful views. Plan on an hour at least to enjoy the beach, the rock formations and the trail. This is not a regular beach however since the ocean is fairly deep and the waves come crashing. The sand is very soft and ideal for turtles nesting on the left side. On the right side its mostly rock formations. My son loved crawling through the holes and around them.

Beautiful, one of a kind beach in South Florida. Cliffs that have been hallowed by a millennia of waves, sending water shooting sky high. There are also several trails around the visitor center for you to also explore. I absolutely loved it and got some great photos while there. A must see if youre in the area! Just a note, visitor center and parking close at 4:30, so if you arrive later youll have to park at the beach just south and then make your way over.

Absolutely amazing. Make sure to bring shoes to walk on the sharp cliffs. Big sprays happen at high tide, but you can get under the cliffs when the tide falls. The parking lot is tiny and fills up fast. So either get there early or youll need to park at Coral Cove Park and walk ~1 mile north to the Blowing Rocks.

Serene and beautiful environment. Can walk along the beach and admire the rock formations. Went during the week and it wasn’t busy at all, very easy to find a place to lay your blanket down. Unlike most beaches, no rough areas concentrated shells that hurts your feet to walk on. As it’s a nature conservancy, don’t expect it to be build up commercially as it isn’t.

Beautiful any time of day. At low tide you can walk along the water with the coral towering above you and at high tide you can watch the water spray over the tops of the rocks. Parking is free and only a small donation is asked for entrance. Blowing Rocks is a great escape from your traditional tourist-packed South Florida beaches.

I love Blowing Rock! The beach is always clean and generally pretty quiet. When you get to Blowing Rock, you can go straight to the beach and rock area. Or make a left and follow a beautiful tree-lined trail down to a less rocky beach area which is equally as beautiful and probably a bit more peaceful/less crowded. (If you’re going to go this way, do not forget shoes!! We made this mistake- came in barefoot in the morning when the sand wasn’t too hot yet and had to make the hike back to the parking lot barefoot on burning sand...) I have lived in Florida and close to beaches for most of my life and this is my all-time favorite beach. The last time I was at Blowing Rock, we swam for hours and probably saw 15 sea turtles in the area!

We tried to go today (June 18, 2020) and the park access is all still closed and was actually blocked with a sheriff. We parked at Coral Cove and walked up the beach a little over a mile. We saw a turtle nest that had hatched with empty egg shells. I definitely suggest shoes, that rock is as sharp as lava rock!

It was cool to see but very rough. Not recommended if you have children or weak swimmers. The sand is fire and will burn you so bad it makes you want to cry. We never plan on going back but it was worth seeing once. The best part was how secluded it was. Only 3 others groups were there. Just a few miles down the beach it is alot calmer. Recommend taking a walk if you want to safely swim. Parking is very limited so go early. Also it closes at 4:30 everyday.

Very interesting. Nice change to the regular beaches around. The preserve has nature trails that go to the river and the beach both are beautiful. The beach has wonderful limestone rock formations that the surf interacts with. The water is gorgeous. Take cash to place in the fee collection 2.00 a person . All money stays in the preserve.

My husband and I came down to Jupiter from Orlando just to visit the blowing rock preserve. I must say it was worth the wait and the short walk through the mangroves to the beach was gorgeous. The water was rough during our visit but it did not stop us from walking along the beach and enjoying this part of florida that we never new existed. It definitely made us feel like we were in another part of the world.

Cool place to check out if you are in the area. Beach is a little rough for swimming due to all the big rocks and water gets deep pretty quick. Really nice nature preserve area and beautiful carrobean blue water at the beach!! Dunes were huge and sea grape pathway with canopy overhead was awesome!! It was really cool to see the waves crashing into the rocks and shooting water high up into the air!Nice pathways with access to riverside and oceanside. Limited parking but wouldnt think they get too busy. Most people would stop for a short time and then head on somewhere else, so you shouldnt have to wait long for parking if there is none available when you get there.

Dont forget to bring your water shoes if you go at low tide you can walk between the tide and the huge rocks that are made of limestone and the water washes them out over time and they create caves nothing deep just small little caves that you can go up in they are underwater though when The Tide is High and about a mile south of Blowing Rocks Preserve is a beach that you can swim in and Sun on as well as picnic and its all Limestone in side the waters edge so you definitely want to wear your water shoes but youll see sea cucumbers sea urchins starfish all kinds of really neat marine life

A beautiful treasure, especially for southeast Florida. The beach is a little bit of a walk from the parking lot, but its well-worth it. Be aware that youre not going to be able to to bring along large coolers or dogs, and only half the beach allows umbrellas. If you want to get an up close view of the clifs, go at low tide. If you want to see the the blowing rocks doing their trick, got at high tide.

We came early to see the sunrise and boy were we rewarded...The rock formations are stunning and strike curiosity as how these rocks (which we think are limestone) seem to be the only stretch of rocks along the southern east coast of FL. Highly recommended a stroll through the dune trail and out to the almost black sand.

The Nature Conservancy is a wonderful place to visit while in Jupiter. There is so much to learn there. You are able to also go across the street to the beach to Blowing Rocks Preserve and see some amazing waves, especially at high tide. The Nature Conservancy also offers sunrise photo shoots a few times a year for $20. Its a must visit. I have talked with Kate from TNC a few times, and she is very helpful and knowledgeable.

One of my favorite natural beaches! It is a perserve so its not lifegurded and has more rules. With that said the views are spectacular with beautiful rock formations. When its stormy or winter season, the ocean water shoots up from the holes in the rocks! Also has trails beachside and by lagoon area.

This is a fascinating nature conservancy. Take a hike through sea grape covered paths that lead through sand dunes covered in sea oats blowing in the wind. Through these dunes you encounter dark tan sands and other worldly lime stone rock formations peeking through wave beaten eroded sand. Walk further down the beach and sharper rock formations protrude through the low tide line. As the tide comes in the wave crash louder and spray through blow holes that resemble cetaceans surfacing for air. Years of wave action cutting through solid rocks creating jagged edges and ledges. This beach is mysterious and definitely a must see when visiting Jupiter.

You will think you have somehow changed coasts when you visit Blowing Rocks Preserve. Beautiful rock formations provide you with an idyllic visual and auditory adventure of spraying and spewing water as the waves crash against them. As you stand on the north side about midway and look south you are rewarded with a vibrant dance, as the waves pound one sculpted formation after the other, successively creating waterspouts 10’-20” high, until it reaches the end of the rocky beach. This is a must-see if you visit Florida’s Treasure Coast.

Unfortunately they have used dredged sand to “refurbish” this beach. The sand isn’t natural to the beach and it’s very difficult to maneuver or even walk in it. Many of the natural rock formations are covered by n this sand which is eroding with every tide. This practice is unnatural and I think is a detriment to the natural beach. The park is well cared for and provides education and beauty to the area. Would get 5 stars if the beach was allowed to stay natural with the sand eroding and dunes building and/or eroding naturally!

Very unique geological formations, different than 100s of miles of typical Florida beaches, the waves will spray spouts even on a relatively calm day. On calm days (1-2 ft) you can comfortably walk along the rock edges and look down into clear water and spot fish and turtles and rays. On rougher days, stand back and witness the geyser show! This place is like nowhere else along the Florida Atlantic coast.

I had to see these massive waves after hurricane Jose came parallel to us.After getting warnings from the Weather Channel on my phone, the call of the ocean was too strong and I had to answer. The warnings were about rip currents, dangerous ones and that usually means high surf.I have been to Blowing Rocks once before after I had moved here from Fort Lauderdale and it was pretty calm, so, that I went snorkeling, which is actually quite amazing, lots of sea life. I knew that it would be pretty spectacular with giant waves hitting the rocks at the shoreline. When I got there the waves were monsters, a sight I never get to see here. Its quite a spot, and Im glad I got to go. Normally, like I said the preserve is a terrific place to go snorkeling.

One of the most beautiful sites on the Florida East Coast. I recommend anyone who hasnt see it ,to come and experience it. I do recommend you bring protective footwear as the beach is rough. Also be careful climbing on top of rocks . There are lots of pass through holes and you may not realize your about to step in one if its covered up. I stepped into a hole but caught myself so I was ok. However I could have easily broke my leg . So BE CARFUL. I went at high tide like they recommended. Next trip will be at low tide . At low tide you can see and play in the caves under the big rocks . Parking is free (not a lot of parking and no parking on grass or you get a ticket) its the honor system when paying to get in $2 . No food in area bring water they only have a fountain.
