Last minute decision and so glad to have taken this cruise! In addition to being a spectacular weather day, we were able to see at least 15 dolphins and at least 2 babies. Doreen and Amy were great! Highly recommend for adults or kids.

Absolutely great experience. The crew was amazingly accommodating in less than ideal weather,asking if we all wanted to go out in the rain as long as it was safe to do so and no lighting was detected. They also did a great job allowing for social distancing. Our 3 and 6 year old are still talking about meeting a mermaid months later.

We had a wonderful time watching the dolphins! Tranquil and fun. Doreen and Amy welcomed us and were very knowledgeable about the area.Great activity for kids too.Just sit back and enjoy the view. The sunset was spectacular.!

Highly recommend. The staff was extremely professional and extremely polite. The dolphin tour was worth every penny. Captain Amy was very knowledgeable and did a great job answering all questions. We also saw at least 8-10 dolphins. Wonderful experience.

This was great tour and experience for the whole family. The kids had a great time looking for Nina the mermaid, it’s all they talked about for the rest of the day.

This was a surprise gift for my 7 yr old granddaughter. She was very surprised and loved every minute of the photo shoot, can’t wait to view the pictures of me and her. Sailer the Captain and Pinky her first mate as well as the narrator did a great job overall! They were encouraging, fun, playful and knowledgeable. Our 4 year old cannot stop talking about the mermaid Nina and the professor. This was truly a wonderful And memorable addition to our trip!

From booking all the way through the end this was the most fantastic adventure we have taken on the island. Pinky was hysterical and so sweet to the kids. Sailor was priceless. I would recommend them highly and will return for more fun. Nina was pretty and loved the encounter!!

The boat tour is perfect time so all family can enjoy as well as the kids! Very upbeat crew, friendly and kept everyone smiling and learning! Highly recommend for families to do! We also did the photo shoot and that is a different experience on its own!! We have done the pirates boat with the kids and dolphin tour, if you have small children, the mermaid you is a MUST!! This was an amazing experience for the kids. Not to mention the day of they called us to say there was rain coming and they could get us on an earlier one. Took my daughter to see a mermaid. She absolutely loves mermaids. The experience was amazing. All of the staff were incredibly nice, very professional and helpful. Will definitely be willing to take my kids again. Worth the money in my opinion.

Shell have you wanting to become an ocean ambassador and looking for Dolphin Lily long before you make it back to shore.Whoever came up with this concept did a brilliant job not only in their idea but in their execution. I cant say enough great things about Mermaid of Hilton Head. It was a great tour at a great price, and if Im ever back in the area, its something Id want to do again.

The dolphin tour was great, we saw several dolphins and got a few glances of turtles before they dove back down and disappeared. Doreen and Amy, the tour guides, were both great. Very friendly and knowledgeable. Brian, the guy fixing stuff, was also super friendly and nice. We really enjoyed it.

Three of us went out on the sunset cruise. It was fantastic. We saw quite a few dolphins and a beautiful sunset. Captain Doreen and her first mate were wonderful. Taught us things we did not know! Educational and entertaining.

We did the Mermaid of Hilton Head cruise yesterday. I just have to share our experience. I have NEVER experienced the amazing level of customer service as I did with this group! From the moment we arrived, the hostess addressed us by name and all the staff really honed in on ensuring that our little one felt important. On the boat, Pinky and Sailor’s energy and enthusiasm was off the charts! And then Mermaid Nina. My daughter has not missed a chance to let everyone she sees know that she saw a real life mermaid, and tells everyone all the ways to be an ocean ambassador! If you have children, I highly recommend taking a tour. It’s been the highlight of our trip!

We had so much fun on this little adventure! From checking in through the end the crew made you feel like part of the story. Pinky Plankton was adorable and made everything so fun. She was great with the kids and even came over when my daughter was crying to get her smiling again. They put in a lot of effort to make your little ones part of the fun and I was very happy with our experience.

We have done the photo shoot twice and first time doing the mermaid encounter tour. We loved it, it is educational, entertaining and fun! Love the employees that make up this company and glad to support them! I have not seen anything like this anywhere else! A true gem you do not want to miss!

The team was very knowledgeable and interactive. They created a comfortable environment that allowed different groups on the trip to meet new friends. It was a wonderful experience; they helped us capture the moment on our own devices and we saw a couple of dolphins as well.

We took our 10 year old daughter on a mermaid tour this morning and she had the absolute best time. Ahe was probably the oldest kid on board but she didnt mind. We got to learn about the different dolphins and about Beethoven that is hearing impaired! To see my sweet girls face light up was magical. She is also hearing impaired and they made her feel so special. Mermaid Nina talked to her about it as well. It was so special! I could never express my appreciation! Thank you so very much! Best money we have ever spent!!

“Best Day Ever” as my kids put it! My 6 year old twins had their minds blown today meeting a real life mermaid and getting to talk to her. They’ve been talking about it non-stop since we got off the boat, including making a live video on Facebook and calling multiple family members to tell them about it! Friendly staff made the experience wonderful, the boat was clean and it was not a bumpy ride at all, and we had a great time!

Our Dolphin excursion couldnt have gone any better. Due to the patience and expertise of our captain, Doreen we saw TONS of dolphins, and so.e VERY close. The information and enthusiasm shared by her first mate just made the experience all that much better. Kudos to both of these women. and many thanks.

My Husband and I are visiting Hilton Head on our Honeymoon and we had such an amazing time on the Mermaid of Hilton Head Sunset Dolphin Cruise! The sunset was perfect and the Captain and First Mate was super friendly and knowledgeable! I definitely recommend checking it out if you’re visiting! The pictures we were able to capture are unbelievably gorgeous!

Capt. Pete made this tour complete. He knows so much history and the back story to it you could sit and listen to him for hours. The time spent on the water was fun, but a little rough coming back, but that is too be expected.

Brought my nieces and nephews on this trip. Pinky (I think that was her name) and Sailor were awesome! Very entertaining and also educational. My nieces and nephews were so excited to see a real mermaid. Sailor navigated the waters like a rock star. Highly Recommend!!!

Great family fun. We did the sunset dolphin tour and it was a lot of fun for our 5 kids. The 2 crew members were really fun and there was a lot of cool info given on the ride. We will come back again for sure!

Was a great trip . Crew is very respectful of the wildlife. We got to see a few dolphin ftom a distance . Remember that these animals although curious are still wild and do as they please so was honored to get chance to even see them .Great sunset

We had a great time on our Mermaid Boat Ride! We all agreed it was our favorite adventure of our vacation at HHI! The crew was friendly and knowledgeable and there was surprise after surprise for the kids. Id call this a must do activity for your trip!

May be tough for young kids. The guides were fantastic, but no mermaid for about the first 35 minutes and only one mermaid overall.Some suggestions:-go straight to the mermaid-circle around and come back to a “2nd mermaid” which is the same cast member but now wearing a wig or something to look differentOverall, we enjoyed it.

It was such a great experience. We saw dolphins close to the boat and pods of dolphins all over. Highly recommend to anyone. Both ladies was so knowledgable and super friendly.

From the first contact to beyond the photo shoot, everything was perfect! Excellent customer service and the 2 ladies who took the photographs were lovely. Couldnt be happier with the entire experience and cannot wait to see the photos! If you have young girl (mine is 11) - you MUST do this while on HHI! Our family had an amazing experience here on the Mermaid tour. Our 3 y/o granddaughter loved it so much she’s still talking about Nina several hours later! Definitely recommend for any family with children. Extremely friendly staff. The tour is also very informational.

Iwe were visiting Savannah and found ‘the mermaid experience’ when looking for special things to do with our girls that would be a lasting memory. We drove an hour for the experience and we would do it again just to see them have such a magical time. It’s all they talked about the entire way home. Our photographer was wonderful and kind and can’t wait to see what she documented. After reading more about the company I was impressed with what the co-founder conveys through her life work. Not only is this a memory we will talk about forever, what makes it even more special, the mermaid is not just for the eyes, she is a powerful contributor to the sea and our beaches on land and when we think of her she is a fearless leading lady of marine conservation

This was so much fun and a total dream come true! The photographer was so nice and efficient! She made me feel really comfortable and explained everything very well! I recieved my photos in less than 2 weeks and am extremely happy with them. I chose to purchase the package with 10 photos and am so happy I did! It was hard to choose. I believe I ended up with around 20 to choose from! Anytime Ive had a question they have been quick to answer the phone and are always helpful!We did the mermaid boat tour as well and it was tons of fun. Even as an adult with no children she was sure to involve us in everything which was awesome! I definitely recommend this for all ages! Oh an I got a tail after the shoot! Its beautiful and isnt hard to swim in and super easy to get out of!

Captain Doreen, Maria, Nina, and Rick were all so wonderful! They definitely made Spring Break 2020 one that we will never forget!!!

My kids loved it. Pinky Plankton was so cute with the kids on the boat and taught them a lot about protecting marine life and Mermaid Nina answered all of the kids questions. We saw a bunch of dolphins. Was a highlight of our trip for my kids.

If you have young kids - especially daughters - then I would highly recommend the Mermaid of Hilton Head boat tour. The Crew was great and very friendly and interactive with the kids. On our trip we unfortunately didnt see any dolphins - it happens, prep your kids in advance just so theyre not disappointed - but we did see a MERMAID! :) Nina the Mermaid was super friendly and answered everyones questions.If you have older boys, like we do as well, they might find the Mermaid part of the trip hokey but our youngest daughter ate it up! The Boys enjoyed the time on the boat at sea, spraying bubbles at the bad guy and looking for Dolphins. We cant control the Dolphins but if we had seen a couple, they would have enjoyed the boat ride event more.The boat doesnt go fast but you do get a little choppy in some of the faster boats wakes. The post-boat ride shark teeth excursion was great for the boys as they were happy to take those teeth home as souvenirs.

The kids love the lesson about sea life before the actually saw the mermaid. They got to see some dolphins and fend of a mermaid hunter with bubbles.

We took Sunset cruise with Captain Dorian and it was a great very interactive and educational. We saw about 40 dolphins!

She loved the girls doing the shoot and they were great with the directions and making her feel special. We ended up buying the tail and fin as well and it was totally worth it.
