Playground had some cool things. Nice piece of property. Very well maintained. Disappointed that water park was closed for the season in August.

GREAT park! Awesome splash pad and trails to walk. Also a nice place to take the kiddos fishing. Plenty of seating only down side is the benches next to splash pad and playground do not have much shade. There are bathrooms.Overall nice place to take the kids. We love coming here.

Awesome park! There are a few separate playing areas with swings, slides, and a stage! Way to go Hillsboro!

We stopped here during a roap trip with our toddler. We picked up food, and ate at the park. It was a great park with wonderful amenities. Our toddler was able to run around and We were able to use the clean facilities. We were very impressed.

If you want to walk your dog, jog, or watch your children play in the park or just sit on a bench to read a good book in the fresh air, you will love this park.

Hillsboro had done a great job here! The park is big and there are two play grounds, one for smaller kids and one for bigger kids. The splash park is great for warmer days. We had tons of fun!

Really a big beautiful park. Great for Pokemon go players too. Was visiting from Colorado and would recommend anyone passing through to check it out!

One of the nicest parks I have ever been too! This park has a great selection of amusements for the kids, from PVC organs to monkey bars, two swing sets and a sweet climbing tower! Water features, stream with fish, tennis court, softball field and soccer field as well. Bathrooms on the premises. Many parking areas. This park is also very well maintained. As you can tell, I am very proud of this park. I know your family will enjoy it as well.

The park is serene. The splash pad can be turned on by parents. Plenty of shade trees but none close to the full sun playgrounds. Had a nice breeze today. One star deducted for the portal to hell they call a bathroom. There must have been a satanic ritual sacrifice in there last night because surely no city employee would allow public property to be so poorly maintained.

Good place to take your kids or just to walk around

Very nice park with something for everyone. There is an awesome splash pad, a skateboard setup, fields for sports, tennis courts, playgrounds for younger and older children, a pavilion, and lots of trails winding around.The only negative is the insane number of crickets, but even swarms of crickets dont lessen this parks appeal.

Thought it was an crazy place, due to there being Security Cameras everyplace! But its clean like southglenn colorado. Has crew, has water park & more.Ive been here most of the day. Patrotic tunes & people having parties & now about 7:30 8pm there is some sweet country music playing strong enough to say... Yes im in Texas. So far the only downer is security cameras on posts & walls all over the place.

They can do a little bit better on the place especially on the kids rides and maybe update on the swings.

Theres not much for kids to play on here there is swing set, a slide, a small jungle gym, a music area and a small splash pad.(May sound like a lot but if you saw you would see for yourself it not great)Before I really enjoyed going with my family and letting them play tag and at least run around and maybe even bring lunch somedays. I WOULD NEVER let them run around there without being super cautious! There is dog feces EVERYWHERE. I go to walk there every morning and it seems like dog owners take their dogs just to use the restroom. Its making it very difficult to want to go there but there are not many places here where you can smoothly push a stroller.

This is truly one of our favorite parks ever. We live in Austin but travel to Dallas to visit family and this is always our intermediate stop. The spinning playground rides are *awesome* and the xylophone stage is also very cool. The park is huge and all the kids in it are always well behaved.

We love the City Park, especially after all the improvements they have made within the last couple of years. I love how well lit it is at night, and how nice they keep it looking.My ONLY complaint is the slide. It is not as great as it looks. Definitely should consider changing it out.

Nice park with good trails. Most of the park is paved, however there is an unpaved area that goes down to the creek which is pretty and quiet. The park has baseball fields, soccer fields, basketball, a playground, splash pad and more, this is a nice place to walk your dog.

Has good scenery, but water park could improve more

Its definitely come a long way since I was little. I wish they had more play options for the kids they get bored with the few things there are to climb on. Bathrooms are clean. Love all the security cameras.

A great place to spend the day! Walking, Running, playing, splashing around on the Splash Pad or simply just sitting, relaxing and watching the birds, this little park has it all!There are plenty of picnic tables if you decide you want to bring a packed lunch while relaxing under one of many shade trees or perhaps dip your toes in the beautiful creek that runs through the park.Plenty of playground equipment to entertain the kiddos, followed up with time at the always flowing splash pad. Once the kiddos have cooled off, you should find time to sit and listen to sounds of musical creativeness coming from one of several Xylophones.Lastly, somewhat hidden like a gem, the back of the park boasts a beautiful, creek lined path where you can sit and listen to the sounds of the creek water flowing, while watching the wildlife!Enough cant be said about what is obviously the pride of Hillsboro!

Beautiful park and lots of fun for the kids. However, some of the tables need to be repaired or replaced. We went on a busy day and has to use 2 tables for a bday party that were seriously bowed in the middle. We laughed and called one a Dr. Seuss table.

My kids love this park its a great place to take them to cool off they have a small splash station that after 10am lets the kids play in the water in a safe environment.

Good place for Pokemon Go and for all my kids to play in the summer.

Very fun And down by the little creek you can catch mud bugs AKA crawfish all you need is string with bacon or ham. Catch enough and you can have a crawfish boil.

Plenty to do for the kids and adults. Especially enjoyed their tennis courts and gravel trails.

This is a decent park. Lots of good activities for the kids, benches and shady spots for parents, and a mini water park!
