Loved the Weird Al concert. Not so happy with the food court. On our side, the poor guy making paninis was constantly having to get items that werent put into supposedly ready order bags, like no chips for the guacamole, missing tacos, all while trying to keep up with making sandwiches. Then having lines to pay, yet only having 3 of 4 registers open, one of which was labeled cash only. Nobody used it while we were in line waiting to pay.

Our absolutley favorite venue to go to for outdoor concerts. Weve seen several artists since my husband & I started coming in 2014. We have never been disappointed. We always get lawn tickets and bring our own seats, food and drinks and we are all set up for great evening or music and dining. Such a great place to go and they have shopping and several dining options available on site too. Such gorgeous setting and ambiance too. Trust me, you will love it.

Make sure to come early to get a great spot in the park. I recommend 430 or 5 the park fills up quickly depending on the artist. Bring chairs, mini table, food, booze, whatever you feel like getting. Make sure to bring good friends and enjoy. We have a range of artists and never had any complaints. Always have a rain poncho handy.

I was a little disappointed, traffic control into the park was nonexistent. We sat in our car for an hour and half less than a mile from the venue to find out the lot was full. Sitting in the pavilion was awesome, but looking out into the lawn seats was jammed full. The lawn used to be a relaxing way to hear the show, but it was so crowded there was no relaxing.

The facilities are very clean and well kept. The sound system is very good for those not sitting near the musicians. The free shuttles from/to the remote parking lots are great.

This is one of the true heart centers of American classical music. Its contributions to our cultural and musical history is immeasurable. If you know Tanglewood, Chautauqua, Wolf Trap, Hollywood Bowl, etc Ravinia deserves its place in American cultural history.Consistency and an eye to all musical forms serve this venue so well.

This is one of the best venues in the Chicago area! Lawn with friends is amazing....pavillion is very intimate if you really want to see your favorite performance up close. Easy transportation and some of my fondest memories! Thank you Ravinia!

GORGEOUS music venue! Nice to walk around even if no music is on! Sculptures...flowers...eater fountains...easy to access by train...can get a bit confusing driving around in the neighborhoods but the houses are incredible to gaze at as well! The only hindrance would be prices...a tad on the pricey side but its important to support a place like Ravinia...

The premier Chicago outdoor performance venue with picnic grounds, a pavilion (concert stage), concert halls, several restaurants. Performances vary with name international acts from Chicago Symphony, jazz, pop, film & dance. Open nightly all summer. Accessible by car & metra rail service. Parking available on site or remotely with a free shuttle service. Buy tickets in advance since many performances are sellouts.

Absolutely wonderful way to spend an evening, picnicking under the stars and listening to great music. My only complaint is that prices for lawn seats for the popular acts (where generally you see nothing and only hear) are so expensive nowadays that unless I REALLY like the performer, I dont feel the cost is worth it.

Awesome place for outdoor concerts. Cool atmosphere and you can bring food, drinks (including alcohol), tables/chairs and more. You can also rent chairs and tables for cheap. Metra stop is very busy when the concert ends so be wary you might not get a seat.

Ive been going to the Ravinia for years! Tonight was my third time seeing Lionel Richie, my second time seeing him at the Ravinia! We always sit on the Lawn to picnic, drink, socialize and be comfortable but tonight was different! Tonight we all noticed a Hugh Green Tent smack dead in the middle of the Center Stage blocking ALL view of the performance from the Lawn Audiance... WE PAID $$$ TOO!!! How sad and disturbing! ! I doubt wed ever visit Ravinia again because of this LOW, Unnecessary Act done by RAVINIA PARK STAFF! We Love You Lionel Richie!!!

Tickets are outrageously expensive to sit in the pavilion, so after paying a lot of money, finally got there.... had to search for parking forever. Got on a bus, got to the grounds where they took my cbd oil and insisted it wasnt CBD oil. Make sure you go to the right section entry because they wont let you just go into any entry to the pavillion, make sure you get a plastic cup because the beer they sell in aluminum cans arent allowed in the pavillion and they will make you get back in line, miss your favorite song and buy a ten dollar plastic cup to go with your ten dollar beer. Make sure you dont have to go to the bathroom because you can go back in the pavillion during a song, so I was separated from my partner once again for my 2nd favorite song. I was so frustrated with the whole experience... I didnt even enjoy the concert I paid 270 bucks to go to. This was by far the worst venue I have ever been to being a frequent concert goer.

Be ready to wait for parking and walk and wait again to get in the place!! It took us over 3 hours and a half to park and walk and wait for a shuttle bus! Carring a cooler some lawn chairs and a couple of bags. Made the whole experience misserable! So you better be fit and in great health. And when the concert was over! Went thru the same whole experience! By the time we got home, it was 1:30am. Sucks! Ohh and the staff aint much help at all! So lost they cant help you that much

Had the displeasure of coming across a legitimate psychopath who is a security manager there named “Lincoln Hamilton”. My group and I watched him have a meltdown after seeing that we did in fact have pavilion tickets (after accusing us of not). He challenged me to punch him, started yelling in front of 15+ people after literally all I did was show him my ticket - didn’t say a word. It sure how this crazy is still employed, but it was clear to see to everyone that this guy had a serious power trip and a few screws loose. Will not be returning.
