This is an awesome place I Love it so much has so much stuff to do and sometimes it takes a little bit to get checked in but when you get in it’s. Awesome, my one complaint is a worker came up to me and my friends and said that we had to be wearing a mask at all times but he did not tell other people it was so hard to breathe with a mask on but I will respect what there policies are. One question is the airbag where you jump on to from the tall tower it has it closed the last couple times I have went is that for cleaning purposes?

What a cool place!! Didn’t have this when I was a kid. Went there for the first time yesterday. I was blown away by all the different stations you can go jump. They got the obstacle course, the wall, foam pits, dodge ball, and lots more. $15 per hr. Worth every penny. Met some good guys up there doing some amazing stunts. Lots of helpful employees. Took my daughter and she had a blast!!! I highly recommend stopping by here!!! Awesome!

Better start checking your bank statements people! They charged us $120 for September and October. We went one Time in January 2020. Fraudulent charges. They refuse to refund us. They have lost my business and trust.

I love this place I take the kids to wear them out and theyre ready for bed. Parents should really watch their children while theyre here. See a lot of parents who just lay their children around off and do what they do but at this place thats not a good idea. Cant stress enough to stay with your children and read the signs and mornings before they do stuff been a lot of accidents but they could have been avoided had the parents been there supervising the children. I personally have never had a problem I have four children and they love this place which stay for hours and hours and hours if they could. Always a great experience we always have fun as a family even though my big butt isnt jumping on a trampoline.

My kids love going to Defy. They always have a great time and think the staff are great. Defy is also a great way for the kiddos to get some exercise. The facility has multiple trampolines to jump on and ropes for climbing or swinging off of. They have foam pits, a dodge ball and basketball area, and a foam pit where you can use a trapeze bar or a swing to jump off into. The prices can get kinda steep with multiple children but they do offer seasonal jump packages, like $30-$45 per child for 90 minutes or something like that, that last for about thirty days, which comes in handy. Would definitely recommend this place.

Really fun and unique place to play. The inside design is very appealing and the wall art is pretty awesome. There are several areas for different activities. There are trampolines, jousting arena, climbing ropes, foam pits, basketball, a swing and trapeze, and zip lines. Great for getting exercise and letting the kids climb and jump. One of few places in the area for active play. Theres also a loft area to sit and watch all the kids. Its $15 and hour and they usually give a few minutes over time . Its great to have something like this in the area finally and I hope they stay in business for a long time.

This place is amazing and so much fun!! I had the pleasure of meeting the owner and he made my family and I feel right at home. The staff was very friendly and did their Absolute best to make sure everyone was as safe as possible.a great places for people of all ages I highly recommend this place for anyone

Nice place. Workers were very alert. But way too expensive if your throwing a birthday party. You do not get your own area to play for a birthday. (which is crazy). And charged you more if your brought your own food for the party.

Great place for a kids bday party

My grandkids love it. Such a neat experience for them. Three a a half hours there today and they would have stayed another three and a half if they could.Its really ingenious. Trampolines built into the floor surrounded by thick pads. Pits filled with great chunks of foam. Plenty of space and obstacles for climbing, running, jumping, bouncing, rope swinging and zip lining all inside in a padded, climate controlled building. Its a kids nirvana. Just wish that wed have had something like this when I was a youngster. Maybe my joints would be in better shape all these years later.

There was a great amount of things to do and you can get great tickets on Groupon. 90min is just enough time to wipe your energy! Lockers are included and thats awesome!

This is an awesome place for adults and children. Its not expensive and well kept. The whole facility is clean and the staff are kind and knowledgeable about the center and equipment. Their main concern is safety and thats the way its supposed to be.

So basically there was a guy that came in with a gun and the staff didnt let the kids leave but the staff ran out. So yeah sounds really safe dont you think

Staff was friendly environment was great! Fun for kids and adults. The bathrooms were filthy and we arrived at opening time, even waited for them to open the doors to get in.

Honestly, great prices. My mother who cant feel her feet or hands came with us and she said it was the most fun shes been able to have with us in years.

Its total chaos, but in a good way. Great way to let your kids burn some energy, and yourself too if you want.

We enjoy defy each and every time we go. I feel like they could probably benefit from a couple more watchful eyes especially on busy days when they have a lot of kids running around. Theres a lot of dangerous stuff that could happen and it just makes sense.

Ever since that kid got hurt here they have really stepped up their game. Our favorite time is when its almost empty.

It was an amazing time for my 3 1/2 year old son. I wish that there was information about the membership because that would be an great savings. Will definitely be going again. The staff was kind and respectful. It was a great time.

The staff is always friendly, kinda high priced and their specials don’t really mean what it sounds like it means. The kids love it so that’s all that matters.

This link was sent to my phone for my eleven year our daughter to complete after her visit to Defy - Hickory last night, 4/22/19, and after an incident that took place. It is unfortunate that the situation that happened concerns me with the lack of support from all staff members there. My daughter was playing on the silk ribbons that were hanging from the ceiling and she was a little concerned about them because of them being tied in a knot. I encouraged her to go ahead and play on them that she would be fine. As she was twisting and pulling herself up and flipping around, she became entangled in them as they wrapped around her legs to the point she could not get down. We were lucky that another dad and my husband noticed her distress and immediately began to try to help her. I called out to an employee for help multiple times and he stood there and then eventually called over his microphone/ear piece to I assume let someone know. He never responded to me nor came towards my daughter to offer assistance. I will admit that I yelled to him many times to see what he could do. He did nothing that I was aware of. The problem with where she was, no one could reach her because the area below would sink when you stood on it. As a mother, seeing your child panic, caused me to panic as well. I was unable to get the silk knot out and she was in the air holding herself with her biceps as long as she could. The silks were tightening around her legs and she was yelling and crying that she could not feel her legs. There should be something close by to be able to put on the mat to be able to climb up to be closer to the people to offer help. Another employee saw that I was trying to untie the knot and he remained very calm and stated that he had it. He was unable to get the knot out and we worked with it as she finally had to let go with her hands because she couldnt hold on any longer. We were then able to get her legs unwrapped from the silks and she fell to the mat. A manager came and spoke with us and got her some ice to put around her calf. She asked for her name to make sure there is a waiver on file and stated she would give some VIP passes to my daughter and that she would be right back. It was interesting that the topic of the wavier was a concern as she wanted to make sure she had her name correct. She was very nice to my daughter and stated that the silks are a concern that she is not even able to untie the knot in them if needed. It was nice that she checked up on us, but she never returned to speak with us so we went to make sure she didnt need additional information from us before we left. She apologized that she forgot to come back out to speak with us but did give my daughter some passes for future visits for her or to give to friends. Our main concerns are just that all employees should know how to respond in situations like this and have ways to be able to help to avoid serious injuries. They should be proactive, rather than waiting for a situation to get dangerous. Being able to get a platform to stand on or a way to access the people would be beneficial. Also having staff that is supportive and willing to provide assistance is a must in regards to providing good customer service.

Incredible variety of things to do at a trampoline park. I would rate five stars if I felt like it was safer, but there werent enough employees around to watch everyone and there were some areas where kids could be easily hurt. However, it was the best place in Hickory for my wife and I to take our 13 year-old niece, we had loads of fun

This is one of the better attractions in hickory NC for kids. DEFY has music, obstacle courses, trampolines, foam cube pits, and lots of climbing. My son loves this place and it gets him active and socializing with other kids. Most kids 7 thru early teens really seem to enjoy it. Theres reasonably comfortable seating for adults and prices are not low but they wont break your budget either. I also believe they have daily specials. Worth checking into if you have some high energy kids and some extra $$.

My son had his sixth birthday party here today and this was our first visit. The staff was awesome in facilitating the setup process for us! They made sure we had everything we needed and truly helped the party run smoothly. My son and daughter (age 2 1/2) had a blast! We will definitely be back soon :-)

Terrible you need to add more computers and employees to get patrons checked in faster. We waited in line for over an hour just to get paid to get in. You can go to Asheville qhixh has mprw traffic and it only takes minutes to get in. This is terrible customer service and if not remedy dare say you will be closing your doors. WE WILL NOT BE BACK. WILL DRIVE TO ASHEVILLE FOT TRAMPOLENE PARK!!!!!!!!!

I have two boys 8 and 7 who really love coming here. A great place to have fun nd use up their energy! Im 32 and have enjoyed playing as well. Great for all ages. Obviously, it is a trampoline park so use your best judgment and know your own limits. We love Defy!

Wonderful experience, had my sons birthday party here and all the kids had a great time. A designated party room was ours for the entire time. Staff was very accommodating and there was a party host as well. I was given passes to come back again as reimbursement for the kids who werent able to attend - good business! Like I said, great experience, wonderful place.

Great place for bday parties! While the kids are jumping you can go ahead and start setting up the party room..you dont have to rush and just throw it together. You also get one employee that helps you the entire time. Dominos delivers pizza for the party. Each kid gets a pair of grip socks for free. The employee that helped us the entire time was awesome!

Great place . Clean, courteous staff. Reasonable pricing. Loads of fun for everyone. Even saw a little one 18 months old having a lot of fun . Will return often.

Definitely had lots of fun stuff for my kids, my wife, and me. Has more assortment of stuff to do than other trampoline parks we have been to. On those things it would be a 5* rating. But this is the most unorganized trampoline place we have been to. Only a few workers and most are just standing around talking. They dont organize anything. I have an 8 and 5 yr old and they will be jumping, or swinging on something and next thing you know some other kid comes and jumps on them in the pit or comes jumping across in front of them on the trampoline, or skips lines. The other parks we have been to have workers at each attraction making sure only 1 goes at a time and no one gets skipped or jumped on. With some better organization this would be a 5* aladdins place to go. Ive felt like my wife and I not only had to watch our children but every other child also, thus not allowing us or our kids to really be able to enjoy the park as much as we have others.I would recommend anyone driving to the parks in Winston Salem over this one in Hickory.3 week update.Emailed the ownership 3 weeks ago as was asked in their response, still have yet to hear anything back from them.

It was nice having a personal party planner to help set up and clean up. The place was neat and clean with lots to do for all ages. However I felt rushed between the jumping and in the party room. I feel like it should be longer or be informed to tell guests to arrive earlier in order to enjoy the full time.

Great for children they love this place

This place was very fun I had a great date with just me and my girlfriend. We went later at night because there were no children. I really enjoyed the obstacle courses and had a great time overall.The only negative was that the glowing wristband they gave me and my girlfriend kept coming off, and mine even leaked a little bit of the glow in the dark liquid. They need to use something better than regular scotch tape.

They have so many different activities to engage in while you’re there. I love the placement of seating for parents throughout the entire facility, not just upstairs. With that being said, if you have little ones (6 and under), I would go from activity to activity with my child and actively monitor, as it does seem like the workers are a little scared to correct other people’s children.

My kids enjoyed it but Im not super impressed I understand how kids could get hurt. I also seen dumb parents literally not supervising their kids. They didnt enforce the no running which was annoying while trying make sure my 3 year old didnt run over by a 14ish year old. I think the parent requirement age should be up to 10 not 6. My kids loved it but just be cautious if you have small ones.

I had a great time and was severely humbled when I brought my child to have fun here. It was $20 for me and 1 child for an hour and a half between 10-12pm. This included socks for the both of us. It was really clean, lot of options, and the staff were exceptionally friendly. I would definitely come again.

My daughter LOVES to go to Defy! It keeps her entertained for the full hour! Its cheap, clean, family fun! GREAT place for kids and teenagers! On weekends they make kids 15 and younger leave and allow the older kids and adults jump! My teenagers go often with their friends to the late jump, giving them somewhere safe to go with good, clean fun!

Not enough staff helping keep the kids on what is expected. Saw one kid jump on another kid and the employee was on their phone. I realize the parents are there and the mom of one of the boys did address it with the kids....however if the employee was paying attention both kids wouldnt have been in the same spot

It was fun and definitely worth it to pay for the 1 hour of jump time. I took some of my little ones in my family and they had a blast with all the areas. I will definitely come back in the future but I think their employees should watch the areas more closely. I am surprised nobody had gotten hurt when I was there.

Its a fun place for families.

Had a bday party scheduled for an extremely busy Saturday in December. Manager had not prepared for all the parties and did not have color of party supplies I had scheduled 2 months in advance. Manager drove somewhere to get the correct supplies so we had them before kids came to the party room. Thankful for that. Beyond that, everything went fine. Kids had a great time. Party room was rather small for our group. Larger room would have helped. EXPENSIVE party! Kids got to jump for as long as they wanted after the party room. That was awesome! Thanks DEFY.

We had a birthday party for our girls here. At first I was skeptical about the price and the amount of time given, but when we got there the party coordinator, Trey, was ready to help and answer all of our questions. He helped me set up my photo props, prepare the drinks, keep things organized and on time. The children had so much fun and enjoyed pizza and drinks which were included. The socks were cute and included. We couldnt have asked for a better experience!! Trey and MarKeshia were on point! My children said this was the best birthday they ever had!

This place is fun, but you have to be a responsible parent and keep an eye on your child. Some areas are risky and the edges of the foam pits are hard plastic so be careful. It is a risk and that is why you sign a waiver. Not all areas are for all age groups. Dont count on the employees to watch your kids its your responsibility so get off your phone and enjoy the day. You do have to buy special socks but they are not expensive.

Great place for your kids and Birthday parties.

My kids love it here and theres a variety of things to do. When they first open theres not a lot of people there so its the best time to go.

Our boys love it. Currently enrolled in a weeklong summer camp and they are having a blast. Good supervision by the employees too.

Be sure to call ahead and make sure their hours dont change randomly for construction. Made 2 different trips 2 back to back days to be turned away at the counter. Wont be back

We had a lot of fun but there were a few areas where I worried about safety. I think this place could be awesome but some of the trampolines need to be tightened and a few of the inflatables need to be filled a little more. We have not been back becuase these minor concerns translate to potentially serious injuries. There also needs to be clear separation between areas for younger smaller kids and bigger kids and the activities offered in those areas should be age appropriate and differentiated based on age and size of the children.

Great atmosphere and variety of activities to do. Fun for all ages! We will definitely be back. I would recommend a few more staff members to man each station for safety and to keep things moving smoothly.

My daughter enjoyed the birthday party she went to their. Now we will be having a lock-in birthday party at Defy Hickory for her next birthday. There are numerous activities for the kids and Im sure they will have an exhausting time. To parents; this is an idea place to jump, climb, and run out some of that overwhelming energy small kids have bottled. After a visit to Defy Hickory a long restful nap WILL BE in your childs future...

Best entertainment for the whole family! The pricing is fair, but you will have to go through a somewhat lengthy waiver process to get your kids in. The staff are all well trained and friendly, and the facilities are properly maintained and safe. There are plenty of options for the kids with obstacle courses, warped walls, parkour courses, ball pits, and even a jumping blob. When youre finally bored of the bowling, the movies, and the mall, come to DEFY!

Okay first of all, the employees here take sides on kids arguing. So my friend and I went to defy to celebrate his birthday. We went into the dodgeball area. We were encountered by a Napoleon Dynamite with his brother who smelt like a water buffalo. They trash talk, and the employees just enjoy arguments. I am fed up but they follow us everywhere we go. He talks about how i am addicted to xbox and how i rage. Even though he’s the one wearing the glasses. Those people then tell that we are causing a “scene”. I walk to go get water and when i approach to the jousting, an employee stops and asks if i am mad because my face is red. I say “cant you see i have been here for an hour and you are sitting there while i am sweating so hard from playing?” He then identifies who told on us. Those employees need the nearest Burger King because they need to try working there instead of sitting on their phones. Hopefully i can change this review if I ever want to go again.

Really cool place. I was a little bit disappointed that their rates went up because it was the holidays but I understand they gotta make money. I wish they had some sort of membership if they did I’d give it 5 stars but other than that it’s a really awesome place to go for kids and adults

This place has lots of cool stuff to jump on, swing from, and test out your balance. The building is really clean and the staff was friendly. Great place for kids and adults who like feeling like a kid again.

A good place for kids to enjoy with friends

Fun place but expensive. Floor drop offs should be marked with a bright color not same color as the floor. Dodge ball is a little rough. They need a small children area. Stuff was very nice. There are some danger zones here.So we went back again and same thing 3 employees and probably 100 children. Staff does not care at all what going except for one young man he is very kind. Landind zones were very deflated staff agreed but did nothing. Could be a very fun safe place if they had better staff

Great place for small to big kids, lots of fun, even for parents if you are in shape. I take grandkids and sit up top and watch. In one hour they are sweaty and tired. So much fun!

To ask a SWORN law enforcement officer to leave because he was carrying concealed is outrageous. Wouldnt spend a penny at this place.

Took our younger kids in the morning and then the older kids in the afternoon. We enjoyed our overall experience while there.At one point our oldest (10yrs old) managed to bump his shin on the something, and almost immediately when the staff saw him upset and us talking to him they came over to us, offered any assistance as well as ice and anything else we needed. Very pleased with the quick response there.Downside.... price. As mentioned above, took our 3 little ones in the morning, (1,3,5 yrs old and 1 adult) then three older ones after lunch (5,5,10 yrs old and 1 adult) and the price was nearly double. Not happy with that at all.
