The Maple Grove House another place to visit, if you like old houses and their history. First thing, they let you sit on the furniture so be kind and dont sit on the wicker. Take your pamphlet and read the history going room to room. Learn the hiding places and where the toys got thrown. We had a very good time, took us 2 hours to go through the house. Oh maybe the family was watching us, I hope they enjoy us as much as we enjoy the house

Very informative with much history of Hickory. The polio exhibit was very moving and well worth going to the museum! The tour guide was most helpful and welcoming. Unfortunately do not remember her name but do know she had a redshirt on on Friday in support of our troops. This lady went above and beyond the Call of Duty at the museum and at the Harper House! Thank you so much for being a part of my vacation and making wonderful memories!!!
