I walked through Buhl Park on a beautiful fall afternoon and was amazed that how much there is to do there. A concert was going on, people are exercising on the Walking path, riding bicycles, 2 were out on Lake Julia on a Kayak and Pedal boat. Tennis courts were full, beautiful dog park area and just the beauty of Gods nature. Outstanding Place!!

Thoughts of a small plot of land with a pavilion at a ball field are usually what most people think of when they think of a city park. This place is almost magestic and filled with countless Acres for someone to peacefully and happily get lost in. Well paved roads and stone bridges will grace your path as you travel through the multiple sections of the park. Whether you require tennis courts, unleashed dog park, basketball, swimming, recreational area, bike paths, walking routes, or just simply to connect with nature, this park is ideal. I have seen some of the largest recreational areas in the world and I give props to this park for being leagues above most of them. Dare I say it even rivals New York Citys Central Park. The pictures I have taken simply do not do it justice.

Great place to see a Christmas light display in the evenings and a nice park to fish, run, and take kids to during the day.

Buhl Park is a treasure for the local area. The park hosts three playgrounds (one of which is a newly designed all accessible playground), a host of pavilions and locations to host events, several kilometers of walking paths the circumnavigate the park as well as work through the interior. The park also hosts the Avalon Country Club as well as the Buhl Casino and Pool. Residents enjoy the seasonal activities that are planned for families and children as well as the highly attended summer camp. Roads are blocked off in certain directions to allow for better bike traffic, walking, and fun. With tons of green spaces, annual fireworks, and a host of local events including music concert series, its a great place to be.

This place has many memories for my family. Its such a serene park. We love coming out to watch the swans and spend time in the rose garden. Buhl Park is a wonderful place!

Always beautiful and peaceful. Always clean and well cared for. Ive been coming here since I was a baby. If you are near Buhl Park, go and spend time here. Its a great place to walk. There are multiple playgrounds for kids. The pond at the flower garden is a nice place for photos. I used to catch tadpoles here as a kid. I have lots of good memories here.

Its a wonderful park...big and spacious...people keeping their social distance..the restrooms were kept very clean plenty of soap and water and hand dryers...Id tell all to come enjoy the walking paths and the scenery...disc golf course..and just being out in a beautiful place..

It was clean and beautiful!! That was my first visit, but I want to go back and explore all the things you can do there.

Great memories at this beautiful place as a kid. I havent been here in years as Im no longer in Mercer county, but glad this place is still getting the love and respect it deserves. Hope kids and families will continue to enjoy this place and God bless its owners

We were in Hermitage in 2014 and used to visit this park whenever the weather was good. We were visiting from India and came here because our son happened to work in Hermitage. Having lived in metros most of our life this was a new experience for us. We had our daughter and kids visiting from Dallas and this park was our favourite spot. The huge trees and walking paths, the playground for kids and the atmosphere in general was soothing. We really admire people like the Buhls who have given such an awesome place to the community. I dont think we will come here again but the memory of Hermitage in general and Buhl park in particular will remain etched in our memory. I remember how one day just as we started to walk it started raining and we ran to our car with our umbrellas and raincoats on . Our grandkids made lot of friends at the park and enjoyed playing here.

My grand pa proposed to my grandma here many moonlit nites ago !

Beautiful, lovely, magnificent, these are just a few words to describe this quaint park. Its well kept, plenty of shade, and many beautiful paths to walk.

Plenty of updated playgrounds, pavilions, benches, a fitness track, lake, etc. Pet friendly, lots of poke stops and poke gyms

Nice place but trails not ADA Compliant. In need of an upgrade for those of us with wheelchairs and no trunk control (no bumps or quick ramps/drops in walkway/path for us to go over) Need app so we can access dog park without having to figure out where the office is (or to travel the distance in a wheelchair)

Very wonderful park in our community. It has alot of shaded areas and a swimming pool.

We love Buhl Park especially with some of the renovations theyre doing. Always clean and beautiful. Theyre always having small events going on that turn out wonderful just about every time. The park is very sage and has tons of roads they shut down to walk on, different play grounds for the kids to play on, tennis courts, baseball fields etc. I just wish the dog park was free!

Buhl park is a large and beautiful park with several playgrounds. They have an inclusive playground with handicap equipment incorporated into the other equipment to make a wonderful playground for children with disabilities. There is a lovely lake with walking trails. They have a butterfly garden and outdoor swimming pool. There is an outdoor amphitheater and several covered pavilions. They have tennis courts and a frisbee golf course. There is also a country club adjacent to the park.

I always have such a good time with my kids every time we go to buhl park its relaxing and theres a ton of things for the kids to do and have a great time! A perfect place to get the family together and relax.

Not sure how I feel about hammocks in the park but I love coming here.

Best small city park in the country.

My husband & I have been walking in Buhl Park for many years. However, in the past few yrs., we have seen near bike accidents triking people walking. If the walker just steps to the side, not knowing a speeding bicycle is coming from behind (because there is no horn, or bell warning, or even the biker saying loudly, bike coming ).there can easily be a fatal or severe injury occurring. There should be signs informing bikers to warn walkers they are coming behind them with the some of the above warnings. If someone is severely injured, Buhl Park may be liable due to lack of signs informing bikers to approach walkers with a warning. Hate to see someone get injured. Know Buhl Park administration will do all they can to uphold the safety of the citizens that utilize this beautiful park, and probably were not even aware of this problem..( 4 stars due to the bike problem !) Beautiful area, great location, lots of parking. Yesterday there was a presentation on Owls so after our walk we was able to attend the last few minutes...it was great!

Have always enjoyed this park. Every since I was little there was always a nice playground for kids. They have updated in recent years to which I was happy to see coming back home. Glad someone cares about the park as much as we do. Hope they keep it up. Very clean and a great place for kids and adults alike.

This park is disgusting lately. If you hogs cant pick up your dog sht you should be publicly shamed. How disgustingly lazy of you!! Paper face masks and bandaids galore. If you cant clean up after your nasty self, STAY HOME FOREVER

One of the best parks in the area, very calming and relaxing, lots to do, especially for the kids. Lots of swings and area to play and have picnics. Buhl park is absolutely amazing.

A beautiful park. A great place to walk, play, fish, etc. There ate so many things to do at the park. You can walk around the walking path or the whole park. Plenty of play areas for the kids, including an all inclusive playground. We love the park!!

Went to Buhl Park Pool when it was in mid 90s with my kids! It was awesome!

It was nice. Dont like how roads are closed off but, whatever. Was there for a birthday party! Seen 5-6 deer kids were excited bout that.

It was a wonderful evening. The night was lovely and the band was great. Oldies but goodies. A great evening. Im from Co. and there is no place you can go to for free entertainment there. Looking forward to next Sunday.

Watch out for the park rangers because if they dont like you they will ask you to leave the park one of them doesnt seem to like anyone I feel that he has a attitude problem

Enjoyed a lovely Bridal shower in the building by the pool. Was a great place for I get together. High ceilings neutral decor that matches whatever theme you have. Highly recommend

Had a blast!! Nice bathrooms accessible almost anywhere at the park.. They do have a nice lake with great scenery.. Ducks, disk golf,multiple parks for all ages and if lucky you will see deer and other wildlife..

Buhl Park is a gem. Beautiful place for a walk. I lived in the area 20 years ago and hadnt been back until last week. I was pleased to see that the park was even better than when I lived there.

I really enjoy Buhl Park. It is always so peaceful & relaxing. Me, my fiance, and our daughter had so much fun fishing. I walked around the Lake Julia and I think that this is the greatest park here. There is so much to do.

Wonderful Park for the whole family to enjoy. Nice playgrounds for the kids. We like riding our bikes through this beautiful scenic park. Always well maintained & nicely landscaped.

This place is beautiful with plenty to do. There are several play areas for the kids and a lake to go fishing. Recently a disc golf course was installed throughout the park and on select nights in the summer movies are played at the amphitheater. Buhl park is just a great place and best of all its all free.

Its ok. There is a nice playground for kids and a spacious stage with many benches. There is a pool and an artificial lake that makes the atmosphere pretty.Roads are not walk or ride only so you have to share them with cars which can be pretty annoying especially if you go there to relax and you have to be careful to cars instead.

Gorgeous well maintained park! There are lots of shelters and pavilions for picnics, parties and outings big or small. Theres also a wide variety of playgrounds accessible for all populations and age ranges!

Beautiful fall day. Didnt want to leave so I walked an hour, sat and read. Lived in a lot of cities but none with a park as special as Buhl Park.

Great big park for walking dogs or goes sled riding in winter. Got my wedding pictures taking there back in 1994. Turn out great! Has swings for the kids. Has pavilions for family get-togethers. One of my favorite place.

The Casino in Buhl Park is the perfect place for any event! The Tea was lovely!

This is a gem in Mercer county, left by the Buhl family for us to enjoy. Its a great place to take family for picnics, sled riding on the big hill at the top flying kites, rc planes etc... They have pavilions for bigger event. We held a walk to defeat ALS some time ago and it was a huge sucess. If you are able to donate time or money to keep the park running for our kids and our kids kids please do I know they can use the extra help

Awesome park! Aesthetically pleasing. Big enough so you can walk around by yourself without feeling awkward, yet small enough so you can make it back to your car without destroying your legs.

My family enjoy coming here to play,fish,watch the wild life & walk the exercise trails with our dog

Great place for the kids to play especially the new play ground! My one year old can even get in on the fun! Definitely recommend for kids of all ages!

Park is beautiful, it has lots of playgrounds as well as a disc golf course. It also has many running trails, which I personally use frequently. They are paved not gravel so you do not have to worry about getting rocks in your shoes.

Now I dont hate the park I hate the pool staffs. They are so rude they kicked everyone out at 6pm because a group of kids and the staffs were talking about how they hate when people bring in there own food. They also need more chairs because we got there and there werent any chairs left so we had to sit in the gross muddy grass

Very nice safe park to walk around, play grounds for the children, and a fitness walk for the adults.

It was very pretty out there the grass was cut and it didnt have a particular smell like some other parks enjoyed myself
