I will start with the positive the lines move fast and the staff are extremely nice. Now the downside they have a giant building but only use a small portion of the space and even then it seems like it is always understocked and in my opinion overpriced. I get things are harder to get due to covid but its just lacking even the basics like craft paint. Their jewelry making selection is smaller than it used to be. I drive to The Butler location it is small but has way more stuff....

Being an artist I like art supply stores and this one is alright. Unfortunately it really lacks the full hobby supply thing. Has no macrame cord and the store is considerably smaller than the one they took over. But hey, it does have its sales and sometimes I take advantage of it.

Lots of nice home decor but not much yarn.

It seems 2 have anything u need 4 ur crafts. The prices r good on crafts but on ready 2 wear merchandise they seem a little high 4 me

I liked it better when it was Pat Catan’s. They basically raised their prices & cut the store by half. Youll need to look for a good deal.

Absolutely LOVE Michaels! So much variety, great sales (love those coupons!), employees are very nice & great management team! They are always available if you need them. I simply LOVE shopping there! Only problem is...I spend too much$$ there because they have such a wide array of products that I simply cant pass up! Michaels has become my go to place! If you havent shopped there yet, you need to! Youll LOVE IT!!!

POOR EXCUSE FOR A CRAFT STORE!!! Most of the stuff is already made and the selection for DIY crafters is slim at best. I was looking for a blending pencil that Pat Catans carried BUT if you want one at Michaels you have to purchase a KIT with 3 or 4 other pieces that you will rarely if ever use. Over all I wish they would bring back PAT CATANS.

Alot of Chinese products. Very little USA products. Just saying.

Typical Michaels. Clean and neat with a nice variety of items. Regular prices are a bit high, but there are always many sale items.

Love the variety of things in the storeThe company always sending coupons to entice you. Took my granddaughter to Saturdays kids craft time. The instructor was fun and helpful with the children.

I dont hate this place but it pales in comparison to the craft store that it replaced. There were two items that I was there for and with one the selection is slim and the other item they no longer carry. Details matter with crafts and this store misses the mark!

It is very hard to find items in this store. The rows are numbered very strangely. It would be nice if at the entrance a map or chart would have alist of departments or items.

Prices look like the are set with the intention of going on a 50% off sale.

Everything became overpriced and the stock went down from when patcatans was there... fabrics, yarn, and a bunch of other things used to be more available and affordable

Very nice. Plenty to choose from but know what you are looking for. So much to choose from you could be there a while and Im not a crafts person!

Expensive for a craft store. Plus I went to a store associate to ask for help but he was too busy to help me to help his girlfriend/wife shop for their holiday decorations. Sadly he was on the clock.

Michaels is a very organized store. When I went they had all types of deals going on.

Not feeling the vibe, didnt have what we were seeking in a craft store, but its okay if your into painting, and other different mediums..

Such a shame that this Michaels isnt as good as Pat Catans was. Half the size, they dont carry much in the way of baking things and the staff isnt overly helpful. Save yourself some time and go to Joanns!

Overpriced. Selection poor.

Its a Michaels. To me, it seems just like the Pat Catans that was in this space before. But, that being said, it has the craft supplies that I need at a reasonable price!

Wow I just love Michaels and they have alot to look at and buy also and its an awesome place too.

Store is tidy and employees are helpful, if you can find them. I swear they staff about one person there.

Wish they had a greater selection of fabric and sewing needs but the entire store is well stocked with a variety a beautiful decor and art supplies for every hobby, staff is pleasant, and the store is clean and organized.

Store was clean and well stocked up. Not quite the size of the former Pat Catans but they have better percentage off on select items that are seasonal.

Easily ordered online for in-store pickup. Have done that twice, now & my orders were exactly right & the service was quick & friendly.

Had the poster board I needed

Did not have as much merchandise as Pat Catans had. They didnt even have night lights or replacement bulbs, which was what I went in there for. Prices were higher too. I was disappointed as it was my first time there.

Huge store and was open late for the holidays. Had a fantastic cashier.

I hate this store. I went there for the first time after it initially opened and really wasnt impressed. It was previously pat catans, and I wish it still were. They cut the store by half, terrible selection and terrible prices. I saw no employees and received no help trying to find anything. I went there again tonight, half the store still not being used, still terrible everything. I wish anything else was there. I will not be returning. I think I hate all michaels stores because it’s no different at the one in niles, I even hated michaels when I lived in Pittsburgh. Dear god please just bring back pat catans.

There was a time that we (my wife and I) wished that they would open a Michaels closer to where we live. Well our wish finally came true but at the expense of the local Pat Catans closing. The two chains were very different in their philosophy of what to provide for their customers. We became very attached with what the Pat Catans store offered. Now that Michaels bought out Pat Catans the selections of merchandise is less and the prices are higher. I guess that you have to be careful about what you wish for.

Went there on Nov 10 2019 for the first time since the rebranding.I was disappointed beyond words to see that they gutted the selection of Pat Cattans.They were once a store for crafters. Now they exist to help people decorate.That was my frist and last trip.

Hermitage location is awful just awful half the store is closed off they have hardly any art supplies really there is barely any supplies period and theyre over priced I would suggest boardman location or somewhere else was ran a lot better when it was patcatans

Nice place to get crafts a little pricey on some things but the employees are very helpful and knowledgeable we will be back again

They hide the Cricut items all the way in the back. This is a bigger and better store than the one in the Eastwood Mall in Niles, OH. They do have a big selection of items. This is an old pat Catans. The store looks like it only half occupied. If they fill the store out, no one will match their selections and availability. I hope they are prepared when the infusible ink stuff gets released to other stores next month.

I am sorry to see Pat Catans gone, but Michaels you dif a fine job of replacing them. I always did like Michaels and have shopped there for many years in Pittsburgh.

This Michaels still looks like the old Pat Catans, but doesnt have nearly the selection that Pats did.

I miss Pacatans! They arent using 25% of the sore and things are more expensive. No really, they just block the other side of the store with shelving units. They did add some more of the popular items (like The Happy Planner) but didnt have other ones that seem like a no-brainer, like Cricut infusable ink products. They better bring down the prices or they wont stay long in the Shenango Valley.

They have nothing I can use. They dont have Christmas stickers for Petes sake. It is Christmas I need stickers for projects. Overpriced and very little selection. Wish we had a real craft store around here.

Lots of seasonal crafts and craft ideas but very lacking in watercolors and pen and ink supplies.
