It wasnt like we expected, but I appreciated the care for animals. It was really small, a few lions, some birds, ostriches, and a giraffe. I may have missed a few, but it was one small loop around with a little gift shop by the giraffe area. Only one family is allowed in the gift shop at one time and masks are required on everyone. It was super dusty and windy today so it helped having sunglasses but not much. You couldnt feed the animals and it was self-guided only. I did ask about the animals and if they could go back into the wild after being rehabbed, but they said they couldnt because they wouldnt know how to hunt and it would take generations to remove them expecting food from humans. Their living spaces just looked so small with no room to roam. My kids were pretty saddened by it but they understood.Thankfully, the price was pretty reasonable and the staff was really nice, but it is definitely a one-time kind of visit in my opinion.

BAD JOB!You dont even let these animals have their own mini pools, with barely any shade in that case. The animals looked DEPRESSED, youre cruel. You let these animals sleep in dust..When one of my acquaintances & I went, I was asking questions about the giraffe(Ozzie ), But as soon as I walked away the lady ghosted the poor giraffe. The ostriches there look cleaner in, their own habitat. Bird cages were terribly small. Yet, you claimed the habitats were great. Hope this place closes down soon, & these animals go somewhere they deserve to be.

I am really not sure what to say about this place. On the one hand, they do good work - they host, among others, retired MGM lions and are an integral part of the Barbary Lion breeding program. The Barbary lion are extinct and their blood lines need to be maintained if we ever hope to reintroduce them into the wild. But on the other hand, the conditions are less than ideal. You can tell the center is hurting for money. And yet they continue to breed even though I am not sure its the best possible use of funds In the end I decided to put it as recommend because the mission is good and the employees are devoted to the animals. Whether you go is a decision youll have to make based on a variety of factors.

The Lion Habitat is a great place to go for an hour in Las Vegas. This was simply the best place I have ever visited to see Lions this close (RIP MGM Lion exhibit). The animals are well taken for and the trainers are very knowledgeable. You can feed the giraffe for $10. My five year old enjoyed it! Only reason I didnt give 5 stars is because you can see everything in under an hour.

Great work and very helpful and informative keepers. We went there on our POGO pass. The lions are beautiful and the keepers are more than willing to talk and educate you about the animals. One of the keepers was feeding Bentley (a 13 year old Barbary Lion) and fed him in such a way that we were able to get some beautiful photographs. The Guinea fowl were very pretty and the highlight was the giraffe.Compared to the animal preserve we had been to in Camp Verde, Arizona, it was very small, but just as impressive, for the work they do.The gift shop was small, but nice as well. We bought a few things, knowing it all goes to support the conservation work.We plan on going back in a week or two, just because.

The volunteers who take care of the animals are the best, and very informative.During your tour you can feed and pet Ozzie and hell also show off his artistic abilities for you! I took my family to see what this place is all about. The ranch has many enclosures with all the different lions. It was great to see their efforts to keep these animals alive and to save the respective species. You can get very close to the lions and it’s amazing to experience. They also had knowledgeable staff who were always accessible to answer questions about each of the lions, their backstories, and how they are working to conserve them. They also had a fun encounter with the resident giraffe where you could watch him paint, learn about him (and giraffes in general) and even feed them if you choose.

This was an amazing gem hidden outside of Las Vegas Strip. It features a nice and cozy retirement area as the senior handler called it for the animals. My family thoroughly enjoyed themselves and if I could rate higher I would.

Its a very small park with a lot of lions - pretty self-explanatory. Entry fee for local adults is 20$ and you have to sign a waiver before you come in. Might seem steep for a small park but its nice and supports a good cause. All the employees are very friendly and knowledgeable. The lions are gorgeous and enormous and quite literally a few feet away. Theres also an adorable painting giraffe, several birds including giant ones like ostriches and emus. The only downside, which is not the parks fault, is that during summer every lion was pretty much checked out. Its 109 in Las Vegas today and was 114 earlier this week. Probably not great for the animals - even ones that typically live in this kind of heat in nature. There are some mist-makers here and there, and a small outdoor ac room.My only gripe/recommendation would be to change that outdoor room so that it is somewhat enclosed in summer, because the ac was running hard but you could barely feel it. And maybe more mist makers too - but maybe thats to come in the future.A mostly very nice experience and Ill be back.

It is good place to visit and see the lions, parrots and some other birds and the one and only giraffe of Nevada Ozzie. They have specific events on a daily basis where they feed the Lions and Ozzie The Giraffe. You can also feed him and can buy a ticket for that on the spot. I really loved that part and enjoyed feeding him. They also do a seesion with Ozzie where he does the painting. The entry ticket is $25, I purchase from Viator with a discount so it cost me $22.76 each.

We went on a Friday right at 11 right when they opened (early October) and it was not crowded at all. You basically pay at the gate when you get there and then just escort yourself around the exhibits much like at the zoo. The animals get fed sporadically throughout the day. When the caretakers saw us walking up, theyd call the lions over and feed them. So even though the lions sleep most of the day, they were motivated to be active and seemed to enjoy the attention. We were in and out in less than an hour and we walked around the enclosures multiple times. The gift shop was very small (thank you for that...in and out, cheap and fast). You have to reserve behind the scenes tour 2 days in advance so we didnt get to do that but Im not sure it would have been any better than what we got to see.

I highly recommend you go with sunblock and hats. The trainers are pretty cool. They feed them and put the meat on the windows so you can get photos with the Lions. The keeper that was with the lion named Bently was very enthusiastic and informative on the questions we were asking him about the lion. They house several lions and a Super star of a Giraffe named Ozzie which happens to be an artist and does live painting for all to see at no charge. They also have optional guided tours and feeding experiences for those looking to have a more direct experience.
