Loved walking the mesa behind the center. Goregous views! Not a bad climb up to tbe top. Many good look out plaves with benches. Highly recommend!

I wouldnt recommend sending your child(ren) to Whitney Ranch Community Center. The staff they hire to look after the children are actually children, and have little to no experience on how to handle and deal with children. A staff member inappropriately touched my child, and the supervisor refused to give me the name of the staff involved, so I was unable to make my formal complaint with the City of Henderson. I had to soley rely on the supervisor to make the complaint, and she wouldnt give me a copy of the complaint she stated she made. Instead, they wrote my child up for not listening, and the Staff member who denied punching my son, and poking him in the eye when no one was looking is still being protected by his fellow staff, and is still allowed to work with other children, un-reprimanded! If you have to pay someone to watch your child, dont waste your money, or entrust this center to have your childs best interest at heart.

I have been coming here for several years to go to the Tap and Jazz adult class with Lori Day. She is FANTASTIC!!! She really knows her stuff but she doesnt make her pupils feel incapable. She has been doing this for a long time, so she knows just how to instruct her pupils.I also sometimes go to the Monday/Wednesday/Friday exercise classes- also taught by Lori Day. She has a really great group (mostly of women, but the occasional man signs up for a session and he is always made to feel welcome). The women are friendly and well-informed and it almost feels more like a club than a class.The staff here is always friendly and helpful. They have an activity card that you can earn stamps and redeem for things.They have both outdoor and indoor pools so that you can keep swimming all year. The outdoor pool is a normal public pool complete with fun things for the little ones and slides.They have an adjacent dirt area with a track where people ride their bikes, but I havent been there so I cant say more than that for it.

I love this Recreation Center! My daughter used to walk here after school every day and build so many different friendships and was always very happy! They seem to have very great security as well. I see a lot of people coming here to work out what you can tell I dont obviously. I would like to join though since they do have a great pool area that kind of reminds you of a little private water park. I believe this is a great place for the children! Also I did throw a baby shower here and the prices to rent out a small room or any room were amazing! It was very easy to rent a room which if you wanted to do so you want to call and ask for Sue. I hope I was able to help you guys out.

Top Notch Tennis & Pickle Ball Courts! Pro-Shop Tennis Pro Dean & His wife Carol is very friendly and helpful! Regardless of your level you would really enjoy tennis here! Highly Recommended!

Went out to shoot traditional archery & had plenty of range to work with! Nice width for many shooters to be on the line and depth for about any distance you need. Folks in office were courteous & informative- rates were extremely reasonable: $7 for Henderson residents + 15% for out of town folks, cost me $8.05 total, for approximately 3 1/2-4 hrs of entertainment. I had a great time & will be returning.

If youre thinking about getting into archery this is a great place to get in some practice and talk to other archers. There is even a medieval archery group that practices just about every Saturday. It also has built-in shade on the shooting line to keep the sun from boiling you. Theres walking trails, wildlife and nice outdoor sites too. They also have tennis courts and indoor activities. Check them out!

The pool is so clean and my kids have a blast here!

I really like this facility. The fact that I know my kids are in a safe environment, especially with Ms. Sabrina the security there because she definitely does a wonderful job at making sure the kids are safe and they are abiding the rules. That really makes me like there after school program even more just because I don’t have to worry about there whereabouts.

First time and my 5 yo son had a blast for 2 hrs.

This place is very convenient for us. Its close by and my kids have their practices and games here.

I really love this place. My daughter has benefited greatly from the programs offered here. I especially love the positive influence Ms.Sabrina the security guard has on her. I feel confident that my daughter is not only having fun, but cared for while I’m away

It truly is amazing I come there very often the cards are a good deal for 5 dollars, they even sometimes give you donuts or something else, and all the staff are kind and work hard they’re amazing! 10/10 recommend coming here from a baller

If your family is on a budget, the rec centers are the perfect place to go. $3 a child and $5 adult, or you could buy a pass for the whole summer, I dont remember the price. Kids and in had a great time. The water tasted pretty gross, which of if course your not supposed to drink, but sometimes it happens when someone splashes you.Anyways, nice little place to go. They have 2 slides, green and white, i think the green was the best and my kiddos liked the white.

Good area with a variety of activities to see and do. Love to bring the kids and dogs here once in a while. Good spot for a BBQ when the whether is nice.

Nice clean recreation area for the community. Small membership fee for children for the year and for adults. Has a gym to work out and great basket ball court. This rec host several things for children to do along with events.

Took my family and soon to be 3 yr old grandson to Haunted at the Ranch. He wore his costume and had so much fun. Trick or Treat Trail, games, Bounce House, etc. Great Decor, friendly staff. Great night for all

This place(kids zone) is a great facility with terrible management that needs to be dealt with. 7 out of 10 people watching my children are either on their phone or acting like it is recess on the playground between peers instead of doing the job they were given. They can’t give proper direction and watching them talk to other children or give direction is completely hysterical. They are rude, cuss, and give sarcastic comments or answers to each other or the parents. I had my kids in other kids zones and they were run with some type of direction or management. I was there today and not one manger on site. This needs to be reported to the city superintendent. These people are given funds and they obviously misplaced.

Best indoor basketball court!!

The outdoor pool has 2 big slides, the lifeguard is right at the bottom in the water. There are also tons of play features, for the younger ones, with the beach style walk in. Perfect for kids about 10 and under.

Always nice to go and work out and then take a swim

This place was great we have my sons 7th birthday party here and it was a lot cooler than we expected. For birthday parties this place is great and youre definitely going to want to rent one of the canopies for 50 bucks the amount of shade in the three tables that you get is well worth it especially in the summer time of Vegas. Have a couple nice lies and a couple little pools and its a great place to go and take your family

This is a beautiful Recreation Center. They have 4 pickleball courts, campground, archery, BMX track, hiking trails, indoor and outdoor pool with super slide.The list is long. Good job City of Henderson, this park is top notch!

My daughter loves the summer camp. There are great facilities there too. Opens at 6am during the week and 8am on Saturdays. Staff is getting better.

We went for a mermaid swimming lessons that ended up canceled. They were apologetic, returned our money, and let us swim for free. It was great service.

Lots of fun in the outdoor pool area!! Lifeguards were paying attention ,fun wading pool to deeper for older ones.Large tall slide for older ones and climbing in and out structure for younger.Clean place with tables and chairs covered by big umbrellas plus lots of lounge chairs!!

This is about the Tennis courts! The tennis courts are awesome here. Really good surface, great lighting and night and man are there a ton of courts. Ive literally never had to wait for court time. The only issue Ive had is with some loud teenagers screaming while playing in the adjacent court. Quiet down over there! Im trying to take the match! Haha

This is about the basketball courts. They are NEVER open! Then they have the nerve to raise the membership to 10$ for what?? Just to have a card? The hours for the gym is really stupid. Change the hours at least, keep the gym open, until then i wouldnt recommend for anyone who plays basketball NOT to go there
