The highlight of this park is the Ninja Warrior course. The park also has two kids playgrounds for different age levels, tennis courts, two softball fields, horseshoe pits, gazebo pavilion, tons of picnic tables and a walking/running path that goes around the whole park. There are restrooms as well along with a large open field between the softball fields.The park overall was not in amazing condition but it wasnt the worst either. The surrounding neighborhood does not appear to be the safest and there are bare spots in the softball fields.

Great place to take the family. The free outdoor Ninja Warrior park is awesome. It is definitely challenging. Make sure you wear gloves or your hands are going to be blistered. Did I mention its free?

The childrens side was closed due to Covid-19 but in spite of that there was a birthday party of about three dozen people all over the playground. We respected the closed sign and stayed on the Ninja side which is definitely for adults.

Unfortunately more litter than usual and police showed up for some reason to talk with some kids. A beautiful day otherwise and we enjoyed the ninja warrior park.

Great park to take the fam to big open fields for running around and playing football and baseball just watch out for the houses also has a jungle gym course and bathrooms that are somehow always closed and faucets that usually work and a few different playgrounds to take the smaller kids to

Great playground. Perfect for kids of all ages because of the cool ninja warrior type course, big kid and little kid playground! Lots of unsupervised tweens taking advantage of the lack of supervision by freely shouting the F word in excess ... otherwise great place.

Attended food truck night. Fairly good selection and a decent DJ.

Hazelwood is putting a new updated playground in at Hodershell park. It looks great!

Wonderful family park, with playgrounds, a ninja warrior area, tennis courts, ball fields, and a flat path. Has lots of fun events.

Tons of teens but they stay to them selves. Great trail to walk for exercise. Plenty of room for your dogs with a leash.

Awesome place great for the kids and adults I love it

Theres always something cool happening here whether it be food truck night, or theres a festival or ninja course going on. I also enjoy walking my doggos on the trail that goes around the park (which is about half a mile) There is also a baseball field, tennis courts, a ninja warrior course, and a few playgrounds.

Full size American Ninja warrior course... not really for small children.

Always a nice park to visit, nice trail to walk and lots of stuff for the kids to do too. My dog loves all the trees there are to sniff!

One of my favorite parks in North County. Equipment is unique (Ninja Warrior course!) and new, the park is expansive, well kept and well lit. Love bringing the kiddos here!

Always a good and safe place to visit for a workout or family time. My son loves coming to play on the equipment, especially after they updated it all!!!

Great area to bring a lunch (picnic tables and a gazebo) and let the kids play on the various play equipment. Nice to rent out for birthday parties as well.

This park shines with its lovely picturesque setting and wonderful amenities. I enjoy this park regularly with my children

Great park! Ive had my daughters birthday party here twice and its always been a good time, they have nice playground sets and a new ninja course (that I havent tried yet) but others have seemed to enjoy it. Not much of a wow factor on beauty of the park. Its not really out in nature just a walking trail with some exercise equipment.

I like the 2 different child level playgrounds...the 1 by the swings us for 3 and up and other one is for 6 and up

Great place to take toddlers that just want to run. Nice smooth track to walk. Very quiet park with four baby swings!!! Two separate playgrounds one specifically for little ones.

The obstacle course was a nice surprise. And lots of trees.

Its really big and you can play any type of sports there. Also there is a play area for little kids if you have any.

Great park well kept with some nice playgrounds, tennis court, ball fields, and a recently added Ninja warrior course playground(too big for little kids but middle school age and bigger kids will love it).

This is my families favorite park to play, well worth the 45 minute drive because there is so much for them to enjoy!!

Lovely park with a tree lined paved running path as well as a large swing set and two jungle gym.

The Ninja Warrior course there is awesome if you are trying to get in shape, train for an obstacle course race, or just test your skills/strength!

Pleasant, convenient. fairground style, with flat mowed center feild, surrounded by trees and paved path. Playground, running water bathrooms powered shelter and second car access point on opposite side of howdershell entrance. Baseball and soccer feilds, and they used to have racketball courts but i think they are replacing them with something. Tennis. Site of harvest fest and food truck nights.
