This is a beautiful place to visit. It has a vast field and nature walk with natural beauty of water, forest and a variety of birds can be heard singing all over especially in the evenings and early mornings. There are also some benches to sit on in case you have a group event.

Beautiful park! it has a nice little playground, then further down in there are rolling grassy hills, a lake with a fountain and a gazebo nearby. Keep going and youll wander down a well groomed, paved hiking trail that goes deep into the woods and crosses over a creek.

Nice walking park with both wooded and open trails, a fishing pond that only requires a city resident card to fish in.

Hazelwood needs to stock the Truman Pond with fresh fish.

At 0.2 miles in from the parking spot there is a large tree branch that has fallen blocking the trail. It not passable.

This is a great park with something for everyone. Theres a nice playground, on open area, then a pond to fish in. Theres a moderate paved trail through the woods and a reasonably challenging hike on an unimproved trail along the ridge (great views, especially in fall and winter months) and down to the conservation area.

It was quiet and I liked the water dispay in the middle of the pond. Loved the walking trail. It is a bit dense in the woods, so bring a friend. I would be concerned about safety. Nice even paved path thru the woods. Very relaxing.

Lots of fun walking the trails. Some nature experiences. The parking areas are hard to find.

De

It would be wonderful if they would put benches under the gazebo. Shaded area, but no way to sit there. Seems like a possible anti-homless policy that is actually just hurting the visitors to the park.

Great little park with something for everyone. There is a playground, a fishing pond, hiking trails and even some geocaching. All of this tucked behind a strip mall. Which you wont even notice when you are in the park.

Truman park is one of the quieter parks in Hazelwood. It has a long trail in the woods that is paved and suitable for hiking and bicycle riding, and would also be good for someone in wheelchair.

I lived my entire childhood next to this park. It has a pavillion, playground and bathrooms. There is a short loop you can walk, with a fishing pond at the bottom, as well as a decent trail that goes back into the woods.
