Thompsons Field in Harwich is the best place to walk the dogs. Lots of other nice dogs to give our pup some play time...highly recommend!

If your dog loves other dogs this is a great place to take them for a walk as you’ll likely encounter many other dogs. Acres and acres of conservation land.

Its a great place to take a walk

We stopped to have a quick picnic lunch (no picnic tables but we knew that) but the view was was so pretty thats why we chose it. Many people were there to walk their dogs. If I hadnt taken a fall the day before, we would have gone exploring.

Excellent walk. So happy I can let my dog off leash. Ive recently heard reports of broken glass on the trails, we did not experience that today.

The field is over 50 acres of conservation land. There are a couple of parking areas. It is a well known Dog Walking area but is open to the public. I didnt actually visit Thompsons recently and I dont have a dog but part pf the field is down the end of the street where I live!

Wide open spaces, tons of trails, one of our dog’s favorite places on cape! unbridled joy as he runs off leash to his heart’s content. very thankful for this place to let him roam. there is a water source at the trailhead too. excellent dog spot.

Excellent spot for year-round dog walking and hiking. Many trails to explore. Beautiful wildflowers and foliage in season. It has a water station for thirsty dogs after their long walk.
