Honestly my rating is 4.99 if thats a thing. My son had fun running around for what seemed like hours. I think the play ground equipment needs to be replaced at some point in time. We all enjoyed the mile trail. Theres also 2 baseball fields and a picnic area for the family.

One of our favorite places to walk our dogs. They have poo bag recepticals and trash bins periodically, benches to rest on if needed, and an ample paved walking loup that is sufficient in length. The grounds appear to be well maintained every time we have gone as well.

Great place for a family outing. Good walking trails, swimming pool, multiple picnic areas, and a basketball court. 4 stars because the basketball courts are subpar when compared to the other local parks. Still worth a visit.

Nice park. HHPD doesnt patrol it at night and the city is letting street lamps burn out, but good people work out there, which, as usual, more than balances it out.

I live in walking distance of this park. I love it. The play ground for the kids is really nice. There is a picnic area with public restrooms and water fountain. Plenty of parking. A bat hitting cage. I big open field next to that. Two large baseball diamonds and dough out. Big lights that light up the entire field. A walking and running track with mile markers. I believe it is one mile all the way around. There are two hills for a nice challenge. All paved walking area. There is a smaller dirt track that most people don’t see, but it is over near the picnic tables where the play ground is. Big beautiful trees for shade at the play ground. They even have stations for doggie bags to pick up after your dog and garbage cans every quarter mile for your confidence. They have people that are there every morning doing maintenance on the grounds and keeping it clean. I am very lucky to live in Knights Ridge a quarter mile from this park.

This park is in a quiet area off FM 2410 in Harker Heights about a mile or two past the high school. There are bathroom facilities, handicap parking, a playground and a track among other things. There are lots of trees at the playground. Many walk with their dogs there. The annual suicide prevention walk has been held here the last three years. The only downside is that the track has a bit of a hill which may not be good for some.

This is a cute little park. We visited during a wine festival. I was expecting more of a playground but they do have a nice walking/jogging area I saw. Its more hilly that other parks in Killeen are. It was well kept.

The baseball/softball fields are well maintained and the grass is always cut. They have a basic playground for the kids and some small picnic tables. There is ample parking provided to meet what needs you may have and wheelchair accessible relatively easily. The restrooms by the playground could use some better upkeep, along with more water stations. The walking/running path is starting to crack in some areas quite a bit and could use some repairs, but generally in decent shape. I wouldnt recommend getting off into the grass due to fire ants. The park could also use an area to grill with more picnic tables for parties, or family events.

Love the trail options at Dana Peak Park. We frequently hike and ride horses on the miles of trails. Lots of mountain bikers as well so trails must be shared by all. Shady trails are plentiful but be sure to bring your own water as it can get hot on the open trails. Free to park at the end of Comanche Gap Rd before the entrance kiosk to the rest of the park where the trail-head for hike and bike is located. There is a horse off-loading area inside the park that requires a day use fee. Current coggins required for horses. Dogs welcome on a leash.

Went here with my two daughters, who had a great time. One playscape for our age group(7&8 yrs) another for the little ones. Almost 100 percent shaded by large live oaks , which were awesome for climbing!! Only two swings, but that was fine for us, plus two safety swings for toddlers. Not too crowded on a Sunday afternoon. We went about 530 pm.
