The trails in this nature preserve are in a wooded area, have some slopes up and down, which makes hiking more fun. When you go into the swamp, it seemed like you are in a jungle, so it’s pretty hard to walk through the swamp. I would suggest stay in the woods. Many people unleash their dogs to play in the brook, so use caution. I was told that early in the morning at around 8:00am is the busiest time, because people come before going to work.
Great place for a brisk walk or hike. Several loop hikes ranging in distance. Pet friendly.
Great wooded gem with kid accessable trail network of varying, if relatively short, duration and terrain.
Always Free, All Natural. Get out. Do.
Lots of trees are down blocking the paths. Youll need to climb over many. So its not just a stroll thru the woods right now until they can get some chainsaws back there
Area is nice for walking or birdwatching but there is glass everywhere on the trails and the trails need to be marked better. It was very easy to stray off the main trails without noticing.
It was a nice little hike. Not a very big trail, but it had some incline so it was definitely worth doing it.
Pretty much the way it was 3 - 400 years ago, sans the Boy Scout bridges. Paradise.
Love this trail!!
Beautiful
Especially great for mushroom hunting in the warmer months.
Great birding too.
Gem of little park for the kids hiking.
