The people worker there so nice you know I tell anybody to go there theyre still great people
Wonderful place of history! Children enjoyed the tour & umderstanding artifacts & history.
The Rotary Club of Haddonfield held its first Board Meeting of the new Rotary year at the Tavern; a lovely place to start our journey. Thank you to Linda, our gracious hostess.
I was actually here at night for a holiday concert. The room upstairs was fit most of the attendees, but some were stuck in the hallway listening. The building itself is mocked up to look like its still in use by our colonial statesmen! I definitely want to bring the kids back to learn more about the tavern.
Very friendly slice of colonial American history right on the edge of downtown Haddonfield. Tons of great events throughout the year.
I love this place. The guides immediately welcomed us in and we got a private tour throughout the old tavern. It is kept clean and is set up to look like George Washington might come in and sit down at any moment. It was a cool history lesson and beautiful place to visit.
This place is so cool! The tour was quick but very informative. The people are really nice. I will be going back for some of the events they have!
A small place to walk around, but well put together to give you a glimpse into the past. The staff seem well versed in the history, and offer nice explanations. I highly suggest visiting when theyre doing a reenactment so that you can see the museum, see everyone all dressed up, and witness the battle that takes place up Kings Highway.
Very knowledgeable and engaging tour guide
This is a great little museum which allows you to see the insides of the crown jewel of Haddonfields historic district. Its definitely worth a visit if you are in the area when it is open (Thursday to Saturday.) Its limited hours are the main reason why it only gets four stars.
All I have to say is check it out its amazing what a bar looks like back in the old days and it also had sleeping headquarters above the bar
Love the History here! In beautiful and historic Haddonfield. Shines at Holidays! George Washington liked it, so will you!
If youre a history buff youll love visiting this quaint little piece of American history. Not so sure about the past, youll be amazed pic how the country survived the good a dd the worst of times.
When you walk in it smells musty from the years of it being there. It makes u feel like u went back in time.
I received a wonderful tour from Linda earlier this week that was so thorough and detailed. All just for me as a walk in, too. It feels like stepping back in time, a must stop!
A great step in the past destination with a unique tie into our nations history
Great restoration, very engaging and knowledgeable docents, really active with bring history alive events and activities in the area.
