Nice sized playground that is still pretty new as of 2020, covered picnic pavilion with many tables. This playground is shaded in the mid morning hours. There is a community garden, baseball fields and lots of open grass spaces. No public restrooms at the playground area. Although this park is called Riverside there is no river access or view.

My dog, Leda, and myself had a wonderful time sharing a beautiful outdoor experience. We enjoyed walking in the wooded areas, tossing sticks in the park, meeting other puppies and owners, and warming up near the several covered fire places out of the wind. All in all, we both had an amazing experience sharing time outdoors and just being outdoors in a safe and welcoming environment.

Big,clean and nice but no night lights at entrance during kids football game. Dangerous and unsafe. Can create more paved parking down by the football field.

Surprised by this park! Great shaded playground. Definitely better for older kids though. Lots to fall off of for the younger ones. Clean and well kept.

Beautiful HUGE park with a lot of shaded areas. There is a very well-kept baseball field or two also a football field in the back. In the middle there are picnic tables and covered picnic tables along with a very nice playground. It is very far from the road and in a incredibly safe area. I deathly recommend this park!

Great park, plenty of space to walk, and the playground is one of the newer/nicer ones in the upstate.

Played a lot of softball there in the past. Was very clean today plus restrooms were clean.

Our kids love coming here. The playground keeps them occupied and having fun. The beach volleyball court right next to the playground is a blast too (especially if you bring some beach toys).There’s a pavilion with public restrooms a few seconds from the playground as well.

This park is super cute. For those of you with sensory input seeking children, this playground has several spinning objects to play on. The restrooms are near the entrance.

Lovely park. the first 2 fields can be enjoyed with any activity! Model planes, kites, bicycles, and all of the summertime fun! When you think the park is over, its just getting started! Nice picnic area in the shade with a roof! The fields in the back offer a fun area to run with many hills and makes a perfect place for a workout! You can find a peaceful area to sit too! Ive had fun playing guitar here!

My Kids Love this Park, but arent happy about it not having any swings. Im Happy the play area is Shaded, it could use at Least 2 more Benches in the shade to sit & watch Our Babies tho!

They just got new playground equipment and it looks amazing. If you saw it before and havent been around in a while. I would recommend swinging by.

Like many of many of the parks in the area this one is just a great. East Riverside Park has everything you would need for a great day playing baseball, or other sports, and theres a place for kids to play too. Lots of shade and a nice place to walk around.

Good park.. With lot of spaces to walk around. Kids really enjoy playing with sands.

Its has a park for kids , a resting spot with a fire place and 4 tables and a volley ball court. Its perfect for picnics.

Nice, quiet, and peaceful park. In my opinion, better place to take smaller kids due to the small play area. Great place to walk your dogs, has wooded areas and plenty big enough for a good walk. Occasional crowd, mainly during sporting events. One Large picnic shelter available to rent out for events. Also has community garden area in very back, but I do not know much detail about it so the website would give more helpful information.

We always celebrate our community events here. Clean, convenient, cozy place. Adults like to seat by the fireplace. Kids love to play on the playground!

Upside This is a very peaceful and quiet park, good to enough walks, runs, exercise with your dog(s), enjoy a picnic, etc. Has a nice community garden and one big picnic shelter. Catch a local baseball, soccer, etc game. What is very unique is this park has a Sand Volleyball Court, which is definitely different and sets it apart from all other outdoor parks in the area.Downfall is the playground itself is kind of small and not much to play on but still good for a short fun time. Also the restrooms look like they never get clean, which is very gross of course.I still would recommend East Riverside Park to anyone with or without kid(s) for a nice outdoor time.

It is not what I expected. It was more... Its for small children, teens and teenagers and when I found the dog parks not only were they excited, it made me cry seeing them so happy and free. It will be a weekly trip.
