Its a much pleasant than pictured. Our room was the bottom floor, nicely bed made and clean. My wife is picky so she made sure everything was good before we settled in. Had a good sleep on the super fluffy pillows!!

Cheap room but got more than I paid for! stopped here on our road trip back to LA. Manager was super nice made me and my gf feel welcomed.

Arrived late but was still able to get a downstairs. booked a 1 bed but all they had was 2 bed room downstairs. walked in and the room was chill temp from the ac blasting high.

Stained bedding, broken & stained furniture, no soap or shampoo. The lobby was sorry as well but I hoped the rooms were better, but they werent. Clean is the priority for a hotel. This was disgusting.

Lowest price in greenville but must say it was super clean and nice front desk attendant. All the expensive hotels were booked up so I gave this a shot and glad I did. Must point out that the suite had a huge tv!! Loved it

Check in was lightning fast which I love! I wanted a downstairs room so I can park close to the room and so the gentleman took cared of that. I have a lot of tools in my truck so that’s why I have to be sure it’s safe. The gentlemen at the desk assured me since they have video surveillance throughout the hotel which you can see in the lobby screen. Now for the room it’s very clean and surprised there is no odor to the room. Kept up well.

Roaches everywhere,dirty as heck, a/c doesn’t work only 2 small pillows on a king size bed, and only 2 small towels that wouldn’t even dry off my youngest child...!!!!! Worst night ever!!! They don’t do refunds either even if ya do check in at 1:00a.m. and check out at 3:00a.m. THE SAME MORNING!!!!!! Never did get to see the bed bugs though lmbo??!!!!

I’m sorry to say I was disappointed with this hotel. There were dead bugs on the floor, the air was not turned on and the room was very warm. It hardly cooled down by morning. No coffee service. No safety lock on the door. The water was good and hot and the sheets were clean and new. I checked for bugs because I was worried. There is some remodeling going on ...

Checked in at 3:30am and checked out by 5:30am. Covered in roaches. Was refused a refund despite this. Very disappointed. Lady looked at me like I was crazy for saying there were roaches and then smiled and laughed when I asked for a refund.

This motel is decent enough for the average traveler passing through that needs just a place to sleep and shower. I would not give it the white glove test. But it was doable and decent enough for the price. Most other places were 3-4 times higher. My room phone did not work. But I didnt investigate why since I had my cell phone and that was all I needed. (The phone appeared to be connected by cord). I went to the office at 7:30 a.m. to check out but the door was still locked. I was hoping to at least get a couple of glazed donuts for the road but Im not overly sad that I did not get them. I wouldnt have needed them anyway. LOL. It wasnt the Ritz but I didnt want to pay Ritz prices. So this motel was OK.

Flew in to do some work at L3 and got a room at the royal Inn for 4 days. It was a delightful stay nothing to fancy but very clean and comfortable room

My family and I stayed 4 days in town and this was the perfect place for us to just rest for the night. Although they are still working on remodeling, the rooms were very clean. Front desk personnel were very helpful and thoughtful! Will definitely stay again!

Our stay was beyond expectations. The room was well clean with good amount of space for our baggage and fishing equipment. The big tv was to let us want to order pizza in and enjoy as we did for 4 nights. Will be back again next time

Great customer service I checked in at 7 pm and the room wasn’t clean that they gave me so I went to the office and told them and they apologized for it upgraded me and even stopped by after words to check if this room was okay and if not they would upgrade me to a even nicer room I gratefully declined and told them thank you and this room was great

Short stay for job assignment. About what I expected for a budget motel. Room clean and AC worked well. Shower recently remodeled with nice tile work, but bottom of shower curtain needed cleaning. No one came to the window when I tried to check out at 7:00

Our stay was nice. We were greeted warmly. The lobby is getting a make over but was still clean. We checked in and was given a better room than we booked! Our room was on the ground floor as we wanted and close proximity to our vehicle. Our room was nice and cozy. We didn’t have any complaints about the room. Bed was comfortable with enough pillows and hot water for the shower. Room was fairly clean. This hotel has gone under a good remodeling from what my colleague told me that’s why I choose this hotel and I am glad I did

They asked me to come back at 2:30 I told them it was 2 people, the lady quoted that the price would be $55.i came back and there was a gentleman he said the price would be $75, big difference! He said if I wanted a cheap hotel go to Motel 6. Lol

I didnt like the fact that royal inn didnt have guard rails in the shower/ bath. I fell inside the tub, it didnt have non skid padding in the tub. The tub had someones black hair on the back railing of the tub as though the tub was not cleaned. The mattress was a bit too plush. The excuse the hindu immagrant gave me, they were remodeling, with that said, not even free breakfast. I wont go back ever. Royal inn should be shut down if they are remodeling until they are done.

The staff, especially Jay was very friendly and accommodating. If I ever travel and need to stay in Greenville again I will stay at Royal Inn and will suggest it to my friends.

Rooms were clean, however some towels were stained, floor is hard, not clean enough, and i did see a roach. bathroom and shower was fine, and hot. decent for price.

This place is a complete dump. The front doors were locked in the middle of the day if that tells you anything. We had to go to a side window to book the room. There were vagrants hanging out in the parking lot, we went around the back to see what the rooms looked like and was a dirt lot. voided out the transaction on my credit card, went down to the Holiday Inn Express. Spend the extra $40 its worth it.

Off the highway. surprisingly the rooms are exactly as pictured. was working in greenville after sulphur springs. was recommended by a colleague to try this place and mention his name for a discount. stayed 5 nights main thing is a nice bed and clean room. no issues. was able to park right close to my room so did not have to walk much during the rain

Clean and quiet. Only complaint is that they dont have a coffee pot in the room.

The room was very noisy because of the closeness to the Interstate HWY, hence did not rest well. Also people screwed up my wake up call, got me up an hour earlier. People did not speak english well and I will never stay at this place again

The hotel itself was way nicer than what I expected espiaclly for the price. Reviews can always be misleading but the room was well maintained and clean. I couldn’t find a issue in the room. The tv was very big and beds were comfortable with enough pillows. I always say to look at the hotel rooms before judging. I this this hotel surppasses the standards of a low budget hotel

My stay here was pleasant. The room I got had plenty of space, it was cozy, nice and clean. The television was nice and the clerk at the desk was very friendly. I arrived while the office was being remodeled so the front looked questionable at the first, but do not be deceived, this is a quality location.

Well at first my husband and i was having trouble finding ower room..the guy in the front desk didnt say much nor give him the bill so on but the price was good. And yes it was clean what i like about it everything works! So i was happy for my stay well come back again

Big clean rooms ....

This was the only motel open at midnight on the night of a big event in town, hence the 3 stars. I admit, I know what I was expecting when they told us the rooms were being remodeled and we would be staying in a previous smoking room. In the end, I had a shower and bed to sleep in to keep me moving through Texas so I cant complain too much.

This was a very nice stay. The price was low and everything is clean. The guy at the front desk was kind and helpful. We got here late and so we had to get a smoking room which smelled surprisingly nice and not overpowered. The room is spacious and looks nice.

Checked in at 3 30 am the cleaning crew was knocking on my door by 9 . Not once but 2 times . . Nice TV . Nice frig. Did not get enough sleep you can heir the cars trucks passing on the I 30 . Would have given more stars but when I told the cleaning lady that I checked in at 3 30 am she said I dont care need you out of heir by 11 am .. ..........

5 star Review: Great staff! Offered us a suite room for the price of a standard room since we wanted a downstairs room. As we walked in the first thing we noticed was the TV, it was HUGE! Maybe a 50 TV? We enjoyed watching some great movies late night since they had almost every channel you can think of. Our room was very clean and it was a NON-SMOKING as we asked for so that was a huge PLUS! Thank you Royal Inn, will let others know about your hotel if anyone is going to that area.

We arrived late as we knew we would and went to check in. They were very friendly. We must have been the last ones to check in because once we said we had a reservation they knew us by name. He asked if we wanted upstairs or down. We told him we like downstairs if possible. He only had suites but upgraded us at no extra cost so we would not have to climb the stairs. The room was so nice and the bed was very comfortable. We will be staying again next time we are down.

I Loved the ambience of the Royal Inn hotel. The rooms surpassed my expectations, felt like a upscale hotel, nice and clean. I booked the room looking at the pictures online and usually rooms are different than pictured, but this place was exactly as picture! Seems like I got more than what I paid for, paid $50 for a single room. Definitely going back to this place next time when I am in town!

Rooms updated since the last time I stayed

My wife is very picky so she inspects every part of the room as we go in. she was quiet pleased with the room. i just enjoyed the tv. was able to watch my favorite movie on a big screen. the manager said they would be starting breakfast soon but they are redoing the lobby and breakfast area. i would stay again if we are in the area. for the price of $60 it is not bad at all. its actually felt upscale to me but then again thats just me

Really? Non-english speaker and just flat out rude.. my wife asked for room rates and staff spoke broken english that is beyond comprehensible and hung up twice on us.. who is managing the staff there? Im a person who normally does not leave a comment anywhere but this is very frustrating.

All I needed was a few hours of sleep, my stay was comfortable and restful quite, comfortable and very affordable.

Very surprised about this hotel. Rooms were awesome!!! Fresh look and clean. Our stay was nice and quiet booked my next stay at this hotel for next month.

Location is convenient, rooms are decent, no fitted sheets are used they fold over top sheets so bed has to be straightened out periodically throughout the day which I found inconvenient. The inside luckily looks much better than the outside. Parking lot needs to be repaved as holes, broken tiles, etc.

I found bed bugs in the room and when I notified the office and asked for a refund they threatened to call the police if I did not leave. Worst motel experience ever.

Pretty nice

The Customer service was terrible. My reservation was cancelled by the clerk after he got in an argument with someone else about how much he smoked i was just standing in line. I was very disrespected and will never return! the motel 6 across the street was cheaper and cleaner!

I got the pleasure to stay in the king suite. its extremely nice, very clean, for a hotel the room is lovely. my only complaint is the front desk doesnt answer the phone & I cannot get the password to access the wifi.

Bed bugs and rudeness. I have to say the rooms are the best you can find for $50. But when I found four bed bugs and told the staff, he didnt believe me. So I stepped on one and pointed it out to him, and he said to leave because I want perfection and refunded my money for the next day I was going to stay. He even told his brother AS I STOOD THERE that I brought bed bugs from another motel and infected his when I havent had a single bite before this happened. Yeah, they think that you cant understand them when they talk about you in their language.

Got a free upgrade to a suite and dang the tv us huge!!! Very clean and updated rooms. Price was reasonable but credit card was required

Management was very curtious. My father passed away last eeek so my family and I were there for the arrangements and stayed at the royal inn. The rooms were very nice and clean. All employeees were thoughtful and respectful. Gave us all a discount because of the reason we drive from Colorado. Will stay when I come visit my dad once a year as long as I can

This was a very strange place. Very strange. 1st off, the phone in the room was from either a Marriot, or the Hilton. Idr. But it shouldnt have another hotels phone. 2nd, I went to the bathroom and opened the shower curtain and there was a dead cockroach. I think it was dead. But its gross. I felt gross after that. The reviews were very misleading.

Price is ok, but Id pay more to not have a loud all night bar right in the parking, plus the people that live there year round on the east side like to wait till late at night to play their music as loud as possible, theres better options here for slightly more

The most horrible experience ive ever had in any hotel in my life the first room smelled like urine all over the bed so the tenant agreed to upgrade our room so we gave him the benefit of the doubt but instead he just mobed us one room over. So the next room bathroom shower had a huge hole over the shower and the water pressure was very weak also. Also the non smoking room smelled like i stepped in a cigarette convention so we decided ro just get a refund instead of taking room but tenant refused to give us all our money back because he said he couldnt rent the room back out because we was already in it like we laid down or something so they decide to keep fifteen bucks im highly upset and would never advise anyone to go to this place not even to visit someone!!!
