This place feels like a well kept secret, but its right downtown and so easy to get to. Parking is convenient, the building itself is beautiful, and the shows never disappoint. Full of energy and life and talent. I love this place. Go here. You wont regret it.

This theatre really never disappoints. The cast is so passionate and talented. The costumes are amazing. The seating is great, and very affordable. You can get a season pass for less than one ticket at the Peace Center, and this feels more like a family (dont get me wrong I love the Peace Center). But seriously, just buy a ticket and go..... Oh! P. S.... You can bring your drinks into the theatre!

Great production of A Christmas Carol! Starts out pretty scary but gets you in the Christmas spirit by the end. Music is fun, includes some traditional songs and keeps the play from getting boring.

I have been enjoying performances here for many years. I AM NEVER DISAPPOINTED!! The acting is SUPERB!!! The sets are great. The lighting is excellent. The building itself is lovely. You can enter through the SIDE doors (NOT the glass doors) in order to BYPASS THE STAIRS.PARKING is free. Most parking is located on a parking deck behind the theatre, though some parallel parking is in front of the theatre, and a few handicapped spaces are available on the LEFT SIDE of the building, which is very close to the SIDE DOOR. Through that side door (NOT the glass side door), you enter on a WIDE aisle that is LEVEL with the stage. Sitting on that row, you will have plenty of room for your legs to extend, or even for an electric wheelchair to park. The RESTROOMS are also on this level. You just need to go outside through one of the two side doors, then go ahead to the glass doors. The restrooms are inside on the right side of the room, whereas the ticket window is on the left side.*Its a LOVELY building full of elegant spiral stairs that you NEVER have to use if youd rather not. *Well planned, Id say!!On a personal note, I saw my first play here at 13 years of age. It was ANNIE, and she worked with a real, golden lab dog. Max was directing then I think. You might want to look at the well kept SCRAPBOOKS that are near the box office.Note: If you volunteer here, you will be given many perks, such as free shows, etc.

So thankful for this underrated gem in Greenville. Best Les Miserables performance a few years back, Newsies was spectacular and so many great well known and unknown shows in between. I had never heard of Dont Cry For Me, Margaret Mitchell and I had to go back to see it again. So much love for the set designers, lighting and sound, costume design, actors and directors - you all make Greenville a great place to call home.

Recently took my wife to see “Oliver” at the Greenville Theatre. Overall, I was very pleased with the entire experience. Parking was free and easily accessible. The facility was clean and easy to find. The performance was top notch and I was thoroughly entertained. Ticket prices were average, $35, and well worth the money. Fagin did an amazing job.

I went to see Newsies as my niece is in it. My first time at the GT. The people working there were wonderful. Im in a wheelchair and they took such great care of me. Only the first landing is accessible but its highly accessable. The seats are very comfortable and honestly, theres not a bad seat in the place. Sound and lights were well done and the ushers were awesome. The talent in this show was breathtaking. Only 2 cons for me personally. First, the bathroom is not good for handicapped, be that wheelchair or walker. Theres only one stall but the worst is that its constructed in such a way that people struggled to walk past my chair while I waited in line. Just a horrible, cramped design. Second, the consessions, all sugar. Nothing of any nutritional value, nothing for anyone with diabetes. The concessions issue is minor but annoying. The bathroom issue is almost a deal breaker.

Love the GLT. Recently moved to the upstate and have purchased season tickets to the GLT for the last two years. So glad I did. The shows have all been great- excellent acting, great sets, incredible singing for the musicals. Very professional plays. The venue is wonderful- intimate with excellent acoustics. No bad seats in the house. Inexpensive wine/beer and snacks available. Great location with lots of good restaurants in the area. Check out the Greenville Little Theatre!

It wasn’t just the acting...it was everyone involved. The stage crew was on point...but most of the time the stage crew were the actors. The bar tender was nice and informative...but the bar tender was also a board member. What a wonder group of people working together to serve a purpose. No one was above a task, everyone worked to provide an incredible experience. Absolutely would go again. Great job guys!

Wonderful theater with good parking, fine acoustics, and all seating seem close to the stage. Handicap accessible is not intuitive -- so ask when you make reservations or pick up tickets. We found the staff VERY accommodating and let us trade out tickets for handicap seating. THEN there are the other building around this place to explore and the fountain across the street too. I recommend coming early and enjoy the entire area.
