I enjoy walking at this park. Lots of flowers to look at and enough space for other people to walk around too. They have a bunch of benches for you to sit and rest. They also have tables too if you want to sit down and eat.

I am working on a botanical data base for the arboretum. This includes both botanical images and a tree species data base. This is a wonderful place for people to visit. There are many woodland pathways and paved trails to enjoy.

17 Acres gardens/park with nice landscaping, beautiful trails, and parking lots on both ends. No entrance fee. No parking fee.

This place was beautiful. There were plaques with the names of the plants. My favorite was thewindchimes. Was a bit noisy due to it being ride near a busy road.

We loved the Arboretum.. Nice walking tail within the Arboretum and there are two small playgrounds and a basketball court! I would recommend going early i the morning or later in the afternoon. There are some bugs and flies if you walk on grass!

The arboretum is a fantastic place to go in Greensboro to take a walk with your friends and family, or by yourself. I personally love taking my toddler to the butterfly garden and fountain area and following him around as he investigates all the plants and flowers; its a wonderful little nook off the main path that is kind of self contained, and the trees arch overhead creating just the right balance of shade and sun, perfect for keeping little ones from getting too hot or sunburned.Overall its a good place to spend some time or exercise at, but it needs a little more upkeep in my opinion.

My secret garden, though not really a secret. A great spot to retreat from stress and meditate on well kept and thoughtfully presented grounds.

Nice botanical garden with varied fruits and flower bearing plants /trees / shrubs. Nice walking and jogging trail with scenic view of greenery all around. Last but not least has a nice playground for kids of all ages.

Omg. This place is so beautiful. I love waking he trail with my kids and smelling all the different flowers and trees. We saw a couple rabbits the other day there. Its always clean and safe.

This is a beautiful place to walk or relax on the many benches throughout the Arboretum. There are beautiful flowers of all varieties and trees too numerous to name. If you like to walk this is a great place to stroll. There are bridges to cross over, a beautiful sundial and 3 enormous wind chimes. If you are looking for a place for senior pictures, weddings or any occasion this is your place.

I was a little disappointed. I thought it would be lush, full of life, and colorful. Well, not the case. Looking at all the foliage, greenery, flowers, trees etc., it seemed like no one has cared for the garden in a while. Full of life with visitors, but not in color...

The Arboretum looked especially lush and beautiful this year. Everything is so well tended and people seemed so peaceful.

This is a beautiful place to enjoy the outdoors! I was shocked that it was free! My kids and I loved exploring the paths and seeing if we could ID all of the different plants. They had a blast climbing trees as well.

One of Greensboro’s beautiful public gardens! An easily accessible path meanders through gardens, across streams, and through the woods. Be sure to check out the overlook for a better glimpse of the butterfly garden! I haven’t visited in a few years and was glad to see they’ve expanded the parking area to accommodate more visitors.

Little arboretum by the side of a large roadway -basically a highway. The constant traffic noise made for a not very tranquil walk. Maybe its a little quieter once the trees have filled in.Theyve got some nice little walks though. Lots of people with dogs, kids, bikes, and more on a Saturday afternoon.

Large and open, play areas available when children can start visiting again. Good walking path also

One of the most beautiful places in Greensboro. I proposed to my wife there from the overlook on Ashland. It holds a special place in my heart.

Easily one of my favorite running trails around Greensboro. It links Spring Garden to Market St and makes a perfect spot for photoshoots as well.

Another one of Greensboros wonderful parks. This one is great for easy strolls on the wide paved walkways. There are some wood chip covered side trails to explore, as well. Dont miss the giant wind chime sculpture.

This is such a beautiful park! Any time of year its just lovely. So many flowers and shady places to walk. At one end of the park there are quite nice restroom facilities. There are many places to park and enter, but if you find the main entrance on Ashland Drive, the restrooms are right there to the left of the beautiful entrance arch. This is also a great place to play Pokemon Go.

Love it here! So many walking trails and offshoots off the trails and benches everywhere to sit and take a break as well as plenty of places to sit with a blanket and hang out. Love taking my kids here for a walk and the play at the playground. Recently went to the Solstice Festival here and it was an excellent use of the park space. Love all the signs telling you about the plants and the fact that it even has a Little Library on site. We come here every week!

This is one of the best parks in Greensboro. There are easy walking trails for the enjoyment of everyone. Several great playgrounds including a brand new inclusive playground for kids of all abilities. They have several great events throughout the year that are unique and fun.

A beautiful park that I have always enjoyed visiting since I was a kid, for 30+ years now! It’s a great place to ride a bike, take a stroll, walk your dogs, or just sit down, relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. It’s been a while, but I remember the playground with the slide was a personal favorite and the creek was fun to play in too!
