I’ve been to a few different skating rinks across North Carolina. I will say Skateland USA at this location has the best skate floor I have been to so far. The floor has a lot of grip unlike some slippery floors I’ve skated on in the past. You can really tell this location keeps up with there skate floor.I went on a Tuesday night for the first time and I was impressed by how large the inside of the building is. There are plenty of seating areas and benches to sit at and eat. I would love to come back on popular night.

The skates are the same ones that were there when I was a child. There is no womens sizes. Just kids and mens sizes, and the laces are to long in the skates. Yesterday,I skated there and had the laces doubled knotted. They stayed tied the whole time,but there was extra length left over and I tucked the extra part inside the skates. The extra uneeded part came out of the right skate and I tripped over it. I am 5 11 3/4 inches tall,so I landed on my back with my feet in the air. Now,I am sore all over as you can imagine. So,I suggest you either update the skates or at least fix the laces to make them shorter. The skates as is are too dangerous.

Its a cool place to take your kids but its really out dated. Ive been going to this place since I was a kid and nothing much has changed. Bathrooms are for preschoolers and the music is a blast from the past...at some point you literally expect John Travolta to come out in a white suit...lol. However, this place still offers good wholesome family fun.

I told my daughter (who is in her 40s) that I would come watch her and her friends skate and have fun. However, when I got there I was told even if I didnt skate I would have to pay the admission fee $6.00 and a skate rental fee $4.00 to get in! I thought $10.00 was a bit much to go sit and watch plus anything I bought to eat/drink while inside. So if you dont plan on skating - save the gas and stay home. Needless to say I did not go in.

I miss yalls skate floor so bad

I went to adult night on sunday at the Church Street rink. The music was terrible. DJ Trixie or Pixie whatever her name was needs a lesson in skate music. Every song was so slow paced old and kind of boring. The idea of skating is to get your heart rate up with exercise. Then I looked up and realized she was also the one collecting money at the door. Thats why the line was out the door because she had to DJ in between. Lol .Then, when I was leaving, she was working at the counter to give me my $5.00 deposit back from the locker rental. They need to hire another person. Preferrably a real DJ, not a record player. The 45 min ride from Asheboro was not worth it for me. The place is clean and it was not to crowded. I must say the floor was great to skate on.

Roller skating for the frist time for the kids and myself first time in at least 25 years hahaha!! It was amazing! We all fell had a good time sweet staff member Olivia was the best ever!!! Staff is very friendly!!

The manager is an absolutely horrible person. We came here every week. My kids have severe food allergies. We carry epipens and needed them on multiple occasions. We can only eat certain foods, never buy anything at a snack bar. It’s just too risky. This big bully of a manager told me no outside food and after explaining the dangers of food allergies still didn’t allow it. I even had to put our bottled water away. It’s not just that he didn’t allow it, he was extremely rude. Our family will find another place to go skating! So rude and extremely disrespectful.

The rink was very clean with what seemed like a fresh waxed floor. Need a better or more relevant selection of music tho. But overall it was a great experience.

The staff were very friendly. The skate rental and facility were very clean. Decent prices on entry, skate rental, snacks and drinks. Plenty of parking. Had a lot of fun!

This a great and fun place for a birthday party

Had a blast with my boys. It was my 4 year olds first time and because of the skate mates he was able to get the hang of skating fairly well. Along with my 7 yr old. I hate that it closes at 2:30 on a Sat afternoon though. That is really my only complaint. I look forward to returning with my family in the future.

It was really fun when I went with my friends. They should probably post all of their rules around the place,because we accidentally ended up breaking all of them without knowing. I also recommend bringing your own food and drinks for your party,because they are pretty high on drinks and snacks. But everything was good,they have a wide variety of lights and music

Very fun experience and great for family time. Only one bad thing though, when you first walk in the skating rink it might smell a little musty. Everything else is awesome!

I wish they would open the doors sooner when youre having a birthday and not have general admission guests enter at the same time. You only have 2.5 hrs for the party and its not fun to spend part of that time waiting in line to get in. Overall I enjoyed the experience. My daughter ws highly satisfied which is what I wanted to accomplish. The staff was very helpful and accommodating.

My son really enjoyed it and it was really kind of a neat place reminded me of the ice rink so I went to as a child. The place is clean and well lit good music nice amenities I really recommend it

Neatly maintained, keep sending some offers to make a better deal. They are also into fundraising activity for local schools... Thats way I appreciate them and love to visit for a good cause. Friendly staff and helpful too. Its a good place to spend some free fun-time.

I will say I LOVE this place!24 years of roller skating. I pretty much grew up there.I Love Andy Hawkins (the owner) I would go on Fridays for a family.However Saturday night 7:30-10 is not the best.Keep in mind they have a cop there who is NOT always fare.

Skateland usa is very much a family oriented establishment. the wife kids and I are regular attendants to the skating rink. Its fun its great exercise and relaxing. The kids are the real winners here birthday parties are great here as well

Nice place with age segregated times. Children in the morning and adult teen in the afternoon. Makes it great for birthday parties. Not a fan of the concession stand...dont even know how old the popcorn was. Rink is in great condition and they played a descent mix of music. Minor smell of dampness present throughout building.

Pretty nice rink over all, however not an employee in site and little kids with skate mates dive bombing in the wrong direction constantly. Literally no supervision on the skating floor and I would bet they had 75+ people in the building.No music request was also a let down.

Have been going here since I was a kid, and still enjoy it as an adult! Skating rinks with this much charisma are hard to find -- especially at such reasonable prices! Andy, the owner, seems extremely fair and conscientious, and the entire staff works patiently (important with kids!) and well to make it a fun, safe experience for everyone.

Had a family outing at Skate Land and had a great experience!!!! Great staff especially at the skating window..! The young gentleman and lady were so kind to my daughters and were absolutely great. The facility is really clean and the music is phenomenal. Thumbs up all the way!!!!!

Its good they make the customers the number 1 but i dont give it five star because some of the snacks or a little high for the size oh the snack but it good all around

They would not let me bring in my daughters birthday cake and gifts in and asked for $150 to book a party. Everything in this place os overpriced.

The floor strays waxed and smooth every time I go. The staff is nice and accommodating. I usually go for adult night on Sundays and have a good time.

Good old fashioned skate rink

I hosted a double birthday party for my daughters at SkateLand North. It was AWESOME! The facilities were very clean. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. We are already planning to have their birthday parties there again next year!

Just picked up skating again for the first time in nearly 16yrs . A friend and I checked it out and had a good time! I will be returning soon!

My baby fall and hit her head skating. She was bleeding and I took her to ER to be treated. My information was taken and I have yet to get a call. Nobody has call to ask if she was fine or was she even ok. They never even called to apologize about her getting her.. She had to get staples in her head at 5 years old.
