Beautiful hotel and resort. The quietest hotel I’ve ever stayed at. You don’t hear the heat/air turn on, never hear an elevator or anyone in the hallways. Great pillows. Super clean. The fireplace and art gallery downstairs are gorgeous. I’m staying here for a second time already it was so good last time.

I love the Grandover. My visits were during the pandemic and during the week so it was not crowded at all. The pool the THE BEST and the outdoor spaces are beautiful. View from the 10th floor is lovely! Staff love to help. The only reason I didnt do 5 stars is because all amenities arent currently available so I cant include them in my review.

A phenomenal course. Period. I had played the East course quite a few times but never the West, so I was eager for a new layout.It definitely plays easier than the East but is still a challenge. Fantastic greens, fairways, bunkers, you name it, it has it all.Give this course a run, you won’t be disappointed. And hey, I even shot a personal best 86, so you can score well if you manage your shots.

Excellent property, great amenities and exceptionally clean

We went here in hopes of having a wonderful, relaxing stay, at this beautiful place, but instead we were treated badly at the spa downstairs near the weight room. The pool was closed due to some storms so we decided to just go downstairs, and relax on the beige couches ( No one was there ). As we sat there this black lady with a short haircut came out of the back room with an attitude like, May I help you? Acting all supicious just because we were sitting on the couch. We told her we are just waiting for the pool to open. She then asks if I have a mask and I told her I had a medical problem ( In the meantime shes not even wearing a mask herself. I thought that was pretty interesting ). After I told her that I had a medical issue she still was being rude telling us we needed to leave because we didnt have a mask. I couldnt believe the way I was being treated after I had paid good money to be staying here. She didnt care about my medical problems. It really hurt my feelings and made me feel worthless. After being an abuse victim, trying to get away go relax, paying good money to go towards her salary and here I was being treated like this... I felt very hurt. I just left and didnt say anything to her. This happened on 9/29/20 at 5:15pm. No one should be treating people like this especially when theyve paid that kind of money to stay there. The lady was black with a very short haircut and was in that back room where the beige couches are down the stairs at the weight room. We were horrified at the way she treated us....

My girlfriends and I planned a spa weekend staycation at the Grandover and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The food was so delicious at DiValletta and Cafe Espresso. Everything was cooked to perfection. Service was great from start to finish. The staff was so nice and friendly. They had safety measures in place and everybody wore masks. The spa and pool was amazing! We felt relaxed and refreshed. It was a much needed staycation and Grandover exceeded our expectations.

My wife and I went for a staycation for our anniversary and we couldnt have been more pleased with our weekend stay! The food was delicious and our view from the suite, was incredible! Highly recommend staying here! Cant wait to try out the golf!

Great hotel. They did a wonderful job of making things as clean as possible through COVID-19. Only issue we had was asking for two additional towels. They never showed up to our room, but I guess human error happens anywhere. We will be making this our go to resort any time we are back in Greensboro

We’ve stayed at the Grandover a couple of times. It seems out of place when you drive up, but the rooms are very nice with great bedding and amenities. Staff is great. Food is now a little limited with COVID, but still good. The best thing about the Grandover is the steps they have taken to be environmentally responsible. One of the few places with paper straws and better materials for food containers.

We went to Greensboro to a car auction and my Wife and I stayed at Grandover Resort 3 Nights it was Definitely 5 Star Accommodations The staff was Excellent from Top to Bottom Very nice Room, Excellent Restaurants and we couldnt have Received any BETTER TREATMENT ANYWHERE WE HAVE BEEN IN CLOSING THANKS AGAIN AND WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND GRANDOVER RESORT TO ONE AND ALL

Started playing golf here back in March when no one was around. The limited staff were very nice and accommodating. Joined their club. Now it seems like all the people in the pro shop just want to argue with you about everything. All the people who were customer forward and helpful are gone.The courses have gone down hill as well, febal attempts at resoding everywhere, most likely due to poor drainage. For the price they charge they really should have GPS carts as well. This place is just no longer worth the price of admission....

Beautiful grounds and landscaping! The pool area was very nice as well with an indoor and outdoor pool and swinging hammocks. The hot tub needs to be warmer (it was barely lukewarm) and more jets could be added. The king room was very spacious and included comfortable robes. We were celebrating our 9th year wedding anniversary and the hotel added a nice touch by delivering a bottle of champagne and truffles to our room.

Just a gorgeous place. Fantastic place. You will not go wrong here. It is wonderful. I was not so keen on the restaurant. I think it is a little expensive and could be a little better to meet with the hotel quality

Excellent hospitality and rooms are superb very clean. What a Experience, you would need to stay for an entire week or more to see and enjoy the amenities. The guest services are Outstanding and Mr. Chris P. He was very helpful and extremely knowledgeable he went over and beyond answering question and he was even off of work but so willing to help my family. Mr. Chris Pettyway is a great asset to the Grandover

This place is amazing. No doubt about that, however considering the price that my husband paid, we couldnt get an appt for a spa. That was very disappointing. The gym facilities was also closed as well as the jacuzzi. The lunch cafe was over $30 for two with ice tea. It was really good though so I could only imagine what dinner would cost. Everything appeared sanitized and there were towels and sanitized lotions everywhere. If you like to golf, this is the place for you.

A beautiful hotel off the scenic route! The rooms are more than accommodating. The check in was easy. But most of all, the golf course was worth the stay! Granted, golf is just as expensive for one night in the hotel ($200 isnt horrible) but, the course is well kept. The only downside to our trip was the small menu they have in the upscale restaurant with a large price. But, if you have a few minutes to take a drive (since the hotel doesnt allow any delivery services unless its their own room service) you will find a lot of local eats for half the price and a wide variety of food!

Had such an amazing time at this beautiful Hotel & Spa. We spent time by the pool and got a massage. It was priceless. i can’t wait to go again. We ordered food by the pool and the service from everyone was magnificent!

Nice place! Went for our anniversary to get massages, enjoy the pool, and hot tub. We wish we booked further in advance because we wanted to spend the night but all the rooms were booked. Also we both couldn’t get massages since they were all booked so we got 1 massage and one manicure pedicure instead. This isn’t their fault though, it’s ours for not booking in advance. We also ate at their restaurant that Sunday night. It was very dead with maybe 3 other tables since most people check out Sunday morning. Got us cared at first but they still were impressive. The food was amazing, the service was great, and we enjoyed ourselves a lot. Especially thanks for the complimentary anniversary dessert.

Loved my stay here for an IT conference. Their catered food and staff was incredible. The room was also perfect, because of this I definitely going to make a trip here just for relaxing.

It was ok for the money we paid we expected more our room was scheduled to be clean and wasnt while we were away one afternoon to the beach kids wanted to warm up a little food that we had left over from grubs no microwave in the room bathroom lock was wore out but hotel staff was very kind

Firstly let me say the staff was outstanding especially Sabrina, Brandon, Kim, Emily, Charletta and Angela. From the moment I called to asked for assistance in celebrating my lady 50th Birthday Sabrina was so easy to talk with and really exemplified what customer service standards should be. Brandon assistance was very professional. Kim the bartending had a very pleasant demeanor and served a great lemon drop. Emily and Charletta really did a great job with the massages. Angela left the birthday lady well satisfied with her facial!!! I will say from the check in until check out the staff that we came in contact with were absolutely GREAT!!! Again a special thanks to Sabrina for getting the ball ROLLING!!!!!

Love the Spa. Staff far exceeds comparable N.C. Spa experiences. Professional, accommodating, excellent people skills for a diverse array of clientele. Thank you.The pool area is under repair which was the one area which left something to be desired. Perhaps closing the area for a brief period would be better than guests exposed the mess of ceiling repairs

The cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in! The floor , the bathrooms , the rooms each time I’ve stayed there , which is about 15 times now are consistently clean exactly the same. Our son and his fiance (Thomas/Kennedy Wedding) got married at your facility on August 8th. We called for early checkin and it was granted. The workers at all levels were so accomodating and cordial. We could not have asked for a better weekend. The grounds were beautiful and the set up just splendid. We had scheduled a private dinner on your patio and it started to rain, you quickly made the adjustments without a beat! We highly recommend your resort and will use it again! The Grandover Resort is a somewhat hidden gem. It doesnt have quite the history of Grove Park or Pinehurst, but Id say that its actually very comparable to both with regard to amenities.The resort has a tremendous spa, two championship golf courses, and excellent fine dining on the grounds. The rooms are very comfortable and my service was excellent.I believe it is the best value in luxury resorts.

Celebrating my daughters birthday. First of all, at check-in my daughter was given a beautiful gift basket for her birthday. The resort was a wonderful weekend getaway in North Carolina. There was a beautiful wedding on the grounds and a reunion but there were enough meeting places to handle them both. The rooms were a nice size and the beds were cozy. The Cafe/Gameroom overlooking the golf course served great food. The spa was a great addition to the resort. Theres an indoor pool and Jacuzzi and large outdoor pool. The breakfast buffet was great. Overall it was a great experience.

I recently played golf at Grandover Resort. I left my range finder in my cart, left, and drove 3 hours back home. I received a call from the pro shop (name and # was on range finder) saying they have my range finder. Not only did they call me to let me know they have it in their possession they SHIPPED it to me as well. I will be making more trips out that way to play golf. A lot of respect and appreciation for this and I thank you.

I could not have been more pleased with this trip. All employees and staff were so welcoming. The room and the food were absolutely incredible. I will definitely be back! If you are looking for a place to golf, go to dinner or simply stay the night at this is your place!!

This hotel is spectacular. The views are incredible, the interior is stunning. The rooms are very well laid out and comfortable, with included mini fridge. The heat/air unit in the room was actually quiet- not like the usual jet engine noise found in most hotels. The walk in rain shower is wonderful. The staff is professional, polite, and helpful.

The Greensboro Medical Society has their yearly Scholarship Gala here and it was simply amazing! Food was great and event space beautifully decorated.

If you are not a fan of cigarette smoke I would suggest you find a different resort.The Grandover allows guests to smoke at the outdoor pool areas which was very upsetting considering my child has asthma and smoke irritates her breathing. We were literally told by their security staff (Myles) that we could move away from the smoke if it were bothering us after we contacted the front desk to voice our concerns. We are so very disappointed that the designated smoking areas at the Grandover are not enforced. As a business owner myself I would never jeopardize the health and safety of my customers.

From the check-in to check-out, I was completely in awe with my stay! I stayed at The Grandover for my 30th birthday and was given a basket filled with chocolates from a sweet Front Desk Clerk. The staffs customer service is not only superb, but excellent! Anytime my mother and I needed something, they were very punctual and prompt with assuring we received it. I would recommend this to anyone seeking a serene experience!

Great Area and beautiful hotel. We have stayed here several times. The bar staff is fantastic and kayla (bartender) and especially hannah (waitress). Exceptional!!! For breakfast, I want her to get all the recognition in the world she went above and beyond for everything for us Idilka I believe she is from Hungary. We have a place in the Ritz Carlton and she is MUCH better than our staff!!! Grandover you have a phenomenal employee. Now my negative comment, you have a bartender named Mercedes. She spent the entire night constantly rubbing her head and running her fingers through her hair. She was touching plates with food, silverware, straws, and glasses putting her hands on everything. Thank god she wasnt my bartender. Please correct this IMMEDIATELY!!!!!

I absolutely loved my visit recently at Grandover I attended in celebration of my friends 26th birthday party ! The staff was very attentive, the decor was so beautiful and the food was very tasteful and such a beautiful presentation I will be back but maybe next time for a Spa day ! I highly recommend visiting it’s so worth it.

The most disappointing meal service in long time. Sunday brunch menu offered a crab Benedict , but no actual regular eggs Benedict other than a meatless version. No available side of bacon, sausage or any other breakfast meat available on or off the menu. No side salad. Nothing ala cart at all. No hollandaise sauce but cold thick gel-type tasteless butter instead. Spinach was served slimy and cold, out of 9 people everyone said the food temps were either cold or barely warm. The filet entree was flat, tough and tiny. The pic below is the entire filet, that’s it. 2oz. ? We sent it back. Server was very nice but scarce, inexperienced and seemed oblivious to how shocked we all were over the food.Apps were served within a minute of our entrees and one of our party’s food was forgotten. No evidence of a manger and no offer to replace the meal ever came.Shockingly low quality fare, we expected more from Grandover.

It was the best choice we ever made having our wedding here. Planning through was smooth and perfect. Their customer service before , during and after was above expectations. We all enjoyed everything. Everyone loved the food. Majority of our guests stayed at the hotel and they loved it. I highly recommend it

Beautiful Resort, the hotel is gorgeous. The freshly renovated rooms are nice. The older rooms have a stale smell to them. When we asked for a different room the management was able to accommodate us immediately. The management and the staff at the hotel are super friendly and I would give them a five star review. The doorman was very knowledgeable about the resort and he showed us around which was very helpful. The spa experience was very disappointing the pool was dirty with bugs and tree debris. The pool was also very packed. When we checked into the spa they did not have lockers on the first floor so they moved us to the second which was very difficult for us. We had to run up and down the floor for anything that we had to pick up from the lockers. The steam room was disgusting, I would recommend to stay away from it. My massage was a definite five star ! The main restaurant at the resort has a mouth-watering lamb chop appetizer for a ridiculously great price ! Our server was phenomenal! I probably would not come back to use the spa, I would stay at the resort once again. I would come back for the Green Bloody Mary! The cilantro gave it an extra kick!

This hotel is nothing short of breathtaking. The quality, craftsmanship and attention to detail in every room and hallway is top notch; rare in todays atmosphere of rapid construction. The staff is extremely polite and helpful, and seem to be genuinely thankful that you chose the Grandover over other hotels. The rooms are spotless (the cleanest Ive seen) and theyve made every effort to ensure that you have everything you need to make your stay as confortable and and enjoyable as possible.

Honestly the food is not good, my wife and I were highly disappointed. Service was on but the meals had no flavor. Definitely not worth $149.

I purchased a spa day for my wife for our anniversary and had a few drinks at the lobby bar while she was having her appointment. The bar manager, Brett took great care of us and even offered us some champagne to celebrate. Thank you for a great experience.

Leslie assisted me on the front desk and she was all that you want customer service to be. She was courteous, kind and knowledgeable. I was looking to extend my stay and she found me another night. I will forever be grateful to her for her excellence in service. Hats off to her she needs a raise. It was a packed hotel and a very busy weekend.

The Grandover is a unique standalone property where the golf course is the main attraction. The primary restaurant and several bars, including one with a game room, add to variety of places where you can entertain yourself. No need to drive anywhere else, but you might get bored with the food after 3 or 4 days. Great for a weekend though, and rooms that are certainly well appointed and adequate.

I cant say enough good things about Grandover! This place was beautiful, clean, comfortable beds and the service is head and shoulders above the competition. When i come back i wont stay anywhere else. Nicolas cage was a great touch! You made our night!

Where do I even start...I was given a room on the 11th floor. The first night I spent there, I was woken up at 7:30 AM by hammering from the roof. I called the front desk thinking there was another level above me. There wasn’t but the woman at the front desk said she’d talk to someone and hung up. An hour later, the noise gets louder. I call back and she says she told them to be quiet. The noise gets louder. It is about 10:30 AM at this point. All I want is for them to change my room or talk to a manager. Why would you book that floor with customers with construction right above us?!?! Obvious miscommunication between maintenance and hotel operations.I get moved to a different floor. I order room service. I ask for a substitution on my continental breakfast card to leave outside my door before 2 am. I get my food and all I get are hash browns and I am charged $23 for this with my order done incorrectly. I try to order continental breakfast again on the card. Next morning, the time they were supposed to deliver passes. I check my door. No one came by and picked up the card at all and I put it outside my door at 10 pm, well before the 2 am cut off time. I order food on the phone since they never picked it up and don’t receive it until 11:30 in the morning. And finally, I ordered room service. A simple PBJ and ginger ale at 7 pm. An hour passes by. I call. They say they were at the wrong door knocking and I don’t receive my food until 8:45 PM. If no one answered the door, why would they not call me back and ask which room #? I just don’t understand.I would like to say though housekeeping, the chefs cooking the room service, and the bartenders downstairs were the only services here that were actually 5 star in my opinion. How disappointing it must be to work under a horrible management overall. It overshadows the hard work of others who go above and beyond for the guests.

Pool was great, room was awesome, bed and pillows was mint. Parking lot big, but overall nice...grounds were amazing, rear game room with food/drinks? Awesome.....Only let down? restaurant at this resort, food was lacking in every category it seems, nor I or my wife was pleased with our meal either time we ate there during the trip....

Love everything about them...except...the rain shower head is incredibly difficult if you dont wish to destroy your hair. I wish they offered valet parking as well. Staff is incredible though.

We have stayed at Grandover multiple times and they never fail to impress us with their excellent service and atmosphere. Definitely spend time at the spa and pool area. If you are into golf the East course is absolutely stunning and in great condition. Will be back as soon as we can and thank you as always!

My wife and I have come here multiple times and we leave happy every time. The staff is very friendly. We tried the spa service with Camille and were pleased with her and all the spa staff.

Bravo, Bravo Bravo! I cannot express in words the gratitude I have and the pride I felt of our fundraising event at Grandover. Not a stone was left unturned and not one detail left unattended. Our event had so many parts and pieces and Grandover and its staff attended to everyone of these. This was my 7th year as a chair of this fundraising event with over 1000 attendees and hands down this year was the best year ever! A special shout out to the housekeeping staff and to the bell man who attended to every detail! A few stand out employees that helped so much are John Martiere, Kurtis Reynolds, Brayan Ramos and Mariah Bailey. To the many hands that dedicated their time to our event we remain very grateful. Five stars to Kelly Harrill and his amazing staff to a job well done! Our organization is very grateful for your assistance in making this fundraising event the most successful one to date.

While I have never stayed overnight here, being a local resident of Greensboro myself, I highly recommend this resort! I was just there last night for their Halloween costume party and had an amazing time! The hotel itself is beautiful, the staff are friendly, and I was served what was probably the best cocktail that Ive ever had!

We stayed here while being evacuated because of hurricane Florence. Our house was consequently destroyed and we ended up being here for longer than expected. Although being a pretty stressful time I could not imagine a better place to be and they treated us accordingly.. This place is seriously a diamond in the rough! Top-notch service, staff and amenities, bar none. We would love to come back for a special weekend or anniversary sometime and be there on better circumstances.

I give this hotel a 4-star because I have been working here for about a year now and let me tell you its one of the least stressful jobs that I have worked in and Im probably going to retire from here. Outside of that its got some great amenities and a fantastic gorgeous Christmas tree that is literally over 20 ft tall in the lobby LOL

Disappointed. My fiancé booked a few days at the resort and apologized to me the entire stay because he felt he let me down! I give it 2 stars only because the bellmen were kind and the room was very clean. Service at the restaurant was great...but food was subpar. Bar staff very slow and inattentive!! The cocktail waitress made eye contact with me on multiple occasions but never came up to the table. Went to sit at the bar top hoping for better service. Made us feel like we were bothering them. Bartender would not pull away from conversation long enough to get our order... so we waited 10 minutes before we got served. Cocktail beverage was okay. Not too busy that night, but bar staff made an effort to avoid us at all costs it felt like. Decided to get room service and return to the room. I dont typically complain, but the customer service was very disappointing. Will likely not return.

All the staff (minus one bellman) were fantastic. Our mini fridge was broken and they had somebody up to replace it in 10 mins. The maintenance guy was fabulous and apologetic. The girls at the spa literally hid behind the counter when we came down a bit early. Young kids. Hopefully the actual therapists would be professional but I have no clue. Bit pricey on roomseevice. 2 muffins and a pot of coffee = $15. Not horrible. Must be off season staff. It is goose down bedding and my daughter is allergic. Id have liked to have known that ahead of time. The ladies at the cafe were just amazing. So with the good and the bad Id say my overall experience was good. book your spa ahead of Time. It was either booked or the girls didnt want to work.

This is an awesome place for a romantic getaway in the middle of nowhere! It has everything that you need on its facilities: Restaurant, large in/out door pool, spa, live music, and golf if desired. The rooms are comfortable with a overhead shower large enough for two people! I took my wife here for birthday and she was pleased. The staff seemed friendly and helpful.

Rooms are very nice and spacious. Priced at about $200. Bar is very comfortable and has live music frequently. Downstair restaurant is very good with a wide variety. Staff is very friendly and attentive.

I attended a conference at the Grandover in November 2018 and I was very impressed by the cleanliness and beauty of the resort. The staff were kind, professional, and accommodating. Best of all, the room I had was gorgeous and the well appointed bed afforded me a few wonderful sleeps.I cant provide a review about the golf because I didnt partake, however, I wish I had... the course liked immaculate and challenging.

Spa, food, rooms were all great. There were things to do there as well

I ordered my dinner at 8:15 after a 9 hour drive. At 10 it still had not arrived so I called and they said the kitchen was closed and they could not get me what I ordered for dinner but some milk and cookies, some real bull.

The resort hosted a Drone Conference. That I attended and I started for a full week. The service was great, but the food at the restaurant wasnt as good as I had hoped for.

Not happy at all. Drove four hours to have to wait almost 2 hours because the room wasnt ready. Even got here 40 minutes after check in. Very disappointed.So after waiting nearly two hours I drove back home. Shameful hotel. Completely ruined our Mardi gras weekend.
