Triad Stage is an excellent regional theatre. They produce a variety of shows including some new works. If you have not attended in the past, I highly recommend you check it out. Parking is easy in the garage behind the theatre. Their Producing Artistic Director, Preston Lane, is a visionary artist, and he surrounds himself with an amazing team . Dont miss out on great theatre in the heart of Greensboro.

Have yet to receive any updates regarding the TWO plays for which I paid and were canceled due to COVID 19. I personally would have gladly donated if asked but would have been nice TO BE ASKED. Now I am anxious about the 2020 season for which I already paid in full as well.

Perhaps one of our least favorite plays at TS in the two seasons we have attended. Perhaps six or 7 plays. We had some enjoyable moments and audience partation kept me awake almost the whole evening. We discussed it last night, and again today, and both give a thumbs down. Sorry. We would not recommend to friends.

Triad Stage is hands down my favorite theatre. Weve tried a few in the area and found ourselves getting season passes over and over at TS. We love this place. The sets are always amazing. The acting is good and many of the plays have a wonderful balance of drama and humor. The 3 original plays Ive seen were outstanding especially Beautiful Star. Well done.

Ive been to quite a few plays here over the years, and honestly the older lead white man who usually plays scrooge is kind of unbearably full of himself to the extent that i can almost taste it in the balcony. Saw Dracula there this halloween and it was a pompous affair in which the lead actors switched roles in the middle. Funny enough, the aforementioned man was worse at both roles than his counterpart.Aside, the bathroom access is tricky and all the songs are lip synced to audio tracks.

Triad Stage is truly a hidden gem among Equity theatres in the South -- creating large and magical productions from an unassuming location in a former downtown department store site. Whether an adaptation of a national favorite -- like the August 2015 production of Cat on a Hot Tin Roof -- or a uniquely North Carolina original like the annual Appalachian Star -- Triad Stage has truly catapulted Greensboro into the spotlight as a true player in the theatre scene.

I’ve been to many Triad Stage plays, but I was extremely disappointed with my most recent experience. I paid the most I ever have - $65 per ticket - and the seats were horrible. We were in row M and we could not hear a word that was said. This was especially frustrating for my 70 year old mother. The “wine tasting” was a joke. There were only 2 bottles of wine (1 red and 1 white). The “tasting” was less than a sip. I will think twice about going to Triad Stage again.
