Went to see the play Sing Hallelujah. Play was very good and actors gave great performances. The day of show received a phone message about road construction near The theater which we didnt run into any issues. The staff was so nice and accommodating. The server was outstanding! Lots of food to choose from lots of choices. The only issue I had was the food wasnt very hot but tasted okay.

This was my first time at the theater .I was very impressed with everything from the beginning with the MC even before the play began.the food was great . the whole staff was perfect and very engaged to make sure we had a great experience. there are no words that could really explain the play ,only that Mahalia would have been extremely proud. I could have watched this play over and over again and probably cry ,laugh because of the awesome music,singing ,directing, acting and the relationship among the cast was fantastic. All the cast were unbelievably talented and engaged with the audience . there were no flaws in their performance. I hope they come back . My friends feel the same way and we will come again.

First time visit was a great experience. They had a good system in place that seemed to work well with seating. The atmosphere had that ambient feeling of an old live dinner theater charm- dark, cozy, & personal. They do offer several shows through out the year, so you have a variety of entertainment to chose from. My only suggestion would be that tea, soft drink or coffee be included in the price. Not sure what the average ticket costs is, but for our show The Black Nativity, was $50. Oh and FYI- ABSOLUTELY NO PICTURES once the shows start.

The show Black Nativity was phenomenal, I cant wait to see it again. Made me want to be apart of the show. The food was pretty good, decent selection and they kept it coming out. The staff was awesome, attentive and courteous. The MC was hilarious and really engaged the audience. Over all a great afternoon!!

Went to this little theatre with my wife for a Saturday date night adventure. The food was good country cooking on an ayce bar. My only complaint is because theres so much food and such little space to put it, its a real trick to navigate. Magically the food bars go away and the floor becomes a stage. (Or sometimes the stage is the one that drops from the ceiling.) The warm up guy is great and the production was good. A wonderful and fun date night.

Great wholesome entertainment for the family. And the good food is always a plus. Id give it 5 stars but only because its a bit cramped when everyone is moving around. But overall its good enough for me to keep going back!

OMG.... I love this place and the food is wonderful. You cant beat the price for food and entrainment. I have seen the play Ms Mary and the boys three times and its like seeing it for the first time all over again. I recommend that you at least once go see one of the plays at the Barn Theater in Greensboro NC.

We live in Norfolk Virginia. I take the opportunity to visit the Barn Dinner Theater at least once a year. The distance is not an issue because the food and entertainment is well worth the trip. Over the last 5 years, I have brought my family with me. It was a group of 30 and not anyone was disappointed. I there last night and another performance by the actor and the cook staff. Roasted potatoes where the highlight of my meal

MC was too comfortable. Paper plates were used. Food needs to come to 21st century with better, healthier food options. Most people dealing with money is White; there is an imbalance of positions.

The Mahalia Jackson show was very good. I enjoyed the food as well. Overall it was a great experience!

We just saw the most phenomenal !! performances from the Black Nativity if you havent seen this show please go and witness these wonderful performances. It literally brought me to tears. We are looking forward to seeing other performances .

We have been going for years and it was a five star experience but has really went down hill. The show is still good but they don’t have fish or Mac and cheese anymore. The only salad dressings were Italian and thousand island (which the thousand island was empty). The pasta didn’t have any flavor. The desserts are served in tacky, plastic to-go cups. And they charge for tea, coffee and soft drinks now. Sadly we will probably not return.

The food is good but the performances are phenomenal. Great acting and the best vocalist anywhere. The performances were enjoyed by all. There were lots of standing ovations for the performers.

Special occasion, husbands birthday. Had great time, Nine to Five was so funny. Will see The Barn again soon.

The show was cute. We have been going to this show for several years every Christmas. During that time the food quality has dropped more and more every year while the prices have gone up more and more. Drinks are no longer included in the ridiculously high price. Desserts are in tacky takeout cups...and not good at all. It was very disappointing. We probably wont go back.

One of the best kept secrets in North Carolina if you ever get a chance to go to the barn go you will have a wonderful time and the food is all so well

Enjoyed our visit here! The play was quite good and the actors did a great job. The food was good, Southern type of fare. Our wait person seemed a bit challenged....drink orders had to be repeated. Including water!! That seems especially odd since they normally provide a carafe of water for the table. We had to ask twice for water and twice again when we needed it refilled. I found it a bit annoying as our party was 8 people and an 18% tip was mandatory.

We enjoyed the food and performance. We will come back again. TYVOLA & SHAMROCK SENIOR CENTER.

It was a great show, good food and good company. The show was The Legends, a 4 man group that sang oldies and a lot of Motown. It was great seeing Evin Gibson perform. Fantastic voice and great showmanship.

The emcee/opener is wonderful. Southern buffet is okay but last seating sees more low quantities than well-stocked dishes. Looking forward to seeing A Closer Walk with Patsy Cline. Stephen Freeman as Elvis was amazing!

Oh my gosh where do I start? I have a very strong opinion being a music and theater lover. I went to see the Black Nativity and I was 150% impressed! I cannot wait for Christmas next year so I can go back and take some other people with me. The dinner was great. The wait staff was fun and friendly. The emcee of the program was very enjoyable.

Highly entertaining! A wonderful way to enjoy an evening with friends. I like the fact this dinner theater has been around so long..50+ years.

The MC was very funny. It was like getting 2 shows, a stand up comedian and the play. Every group, Birthday, & Wedding Anniversary that was acknowledged he found lighthearted humor to share about them. He even made the announcements entertaining.We saw Steel Magnolias. The cast did a wonderful job. They had us laughing and crying and laughing.And the evening started with a huge buffet Dinner.I recommend going. It is worth your time & money.

It was my first time visiting this place, and I found it to be quite lovely. The food is good, the entertainment is excellent, and the staff is top-notch. Theyre very efficient, and youll enjoy it. They have a wide variety of shows that people can attend, so theres something for everyone.

Fun environment, look up the shows before you go they might not be your kind of thing that particular night. The buffet was good, the meats werent seasoned very much.. but the salad bar was gold. Get the chicken salad

If you ever get to Greensboro North Carolina. The food is excellent. The entertainment is amazing the waiter are very good looking and the waitresses are very friendly.

Excellent performance! This is my second year going. I plan on going every year because each year promises another twist to the play. The performers have voices like Angels. This is a dinner theather, so theres a buffet style meal. This is a family friendly stage play! If you havent seen it, I suggest you plan on attending.

I really enjoyed my time at the Barn dinner theater the food was good better-than-average much better. It was my second trip to Barn dinner theater the first one being years ago but the play was not as good as the one we saw previously. The play was based on the movie steel magnolia. For both visits we saw comedies its just knowing the movie maybe I over judged the play and found it wanting

First of all the show was fantastic! Secondly, I paid a decent amount for tickets that included a buffet and actually didnt get to eat anything. Food ran out numerous times. I waited in a line with so many others for food that never seemed as if it were going to be replaced so I just returned to my seat. Needless to say, I was super disappointed and cant believe this establishment was not prepared to supply food for the number of patrons who purchased tickets for the Valentines Day Show. The night would have been ruined had it not been that the show was so good. Truly hope you guys do better next time. I give the show 5 stars and the food 0 which is how this establishment received 3 stars.

The play and the food were good. The place is too small, everyone is in each others way. There isnt enough space between the tables. The poor man seated at the end of the buffet line had to endure everyones back side as they went through the buffet line.

Always love going here. Adams Family show was funny. The only reason I didnt give 5 stars is because we specifically asked for seats with more room for my husband and when we arrived our seats were up against a wall and the tables do not move. We where able to maneuver only because the other party at our table did no show.

First time at the Barn Dinner Theatre and I absolutely loved it. Dinner was outstanding and the show, I cant say enough about. Ms. Mary and The Boys was laugh out loud funny and very thought provoking. If you want to fill your stomach, your mind and your heart, see this show. Its worth it!

The Black Nativity experience was AMAZING!!! The food on the buffet was hot, well seasoned and plentiful. They started on time and was worth every penny spent. Would highly recommend this spiritual experience!!!

Food and service has been getting progressively worse. Servers and kitchen staff are more worried about filling their own plates than filling empty trays in the buffet. Ordered a dessert off the menu and it wasnt fit to eat, that cost was almost $6. They get 1 star this time because the entertainment was decent.

I had a very bad experience. It was dark & cramped. I dont enjoy eating in the dark. Then the next day I came down w/a bad case of food poison & was sick for 3 days! I will never frequent this place ever again!

This dinner theater consistently provides great musical plays. They are two act (or more), with storyline, drama, music, and lots of laughs. Their standard for drama is high, and the theater has been around a long time. It is the longest running dinner theater in North Carolina. The food is ok, but it is a buffet. To avoid the line, get your salad first (a different table, closer to the door), enjoy it, and by then the big line will be served.

The show was phenomenal. The food was seriously lacking in availability and consistency; all you can eat, but the pans were always empty. The worst food I have ever eaten, actually. The wait staff was very pleasant and professional. Meeting the cast was a bonus.
