My husband has been in there 3 times recently to purchase a new set of golf clubs. He cant get anyone to wait on him. It isnt because youre busy. Theres employees standing around, just none asking to help people. Im just amazed. He really wanted to get them there, but apparently you guys dont care where get spends his money.

My experience with the gentleman in the Tour Shop was surpassed by none. My family and I are avid golfers and had given up on Golf Galaxy due to the rudeness and lack of professionalism that we had encountered in the Greensboro Golf Galaxy. It was nearing my husband’s birthday and I was reluctant to step into the establishment, but I am so very glad that I did. I received unparalleled help from Arlie Curran in the store’s Tour Shop. He was professional, the advise I received from him was top notch. I will be a customer with Golf Galaxy for as long as Arlie is with the Company. I am sure that I am not the only one. I must say that this gentleman deserves the highest pay rate of all of the employees at this store, as no other employee could be bothered by me or my questions. If you have been turned off by Golf Galaxy in the past, I suggest that you go in and head directly to the Tour Shop and ask for Arlie. You will not be disappointed!!! Paid $400.00 for a Scotty Cameron putter, was willing to spend $30.00 more for a 3.0 grip. Ask if they could put in on for free.... There reactions were priceless. Still purchased the putter, but Golf Galaxy is all about the sale, and thats it.

I went to the Golf Galaxy store in Greensboro today to purchase a new putter. I found a Taylor Made Spider 34 that I really liked, the only issue was the face of the putter was dinged, obviously not new and already used by someone else. I spoke with the sales person to see if the damage club would be discounted. He responded No Full Price. Needless to say I didnt buy the putter and I will never purchase anything from Golf Galaxy Store again. You got one star because thats the lowest rating possible. How do you sell damage equipment at full price????

Im very new to golf and went there for a starter set and was greeted with condescension and instructed to leave and buy online or go to Dicks until I was more seasoned and come back after Ive gotten good at the game. I did, but will not be returning to this store. I get that ai may be new and not what they want to bother with, but they simply werent very nice about it either.

Disgusted with their lack of service. Waited for over 30 minutes to try out a couple drivers and would have waited longer if we had not chased down an associate. They all had a very snobby attitude and did not take my boyfriend seriously, who was prepared to pay for a very nice driver. They placed him in a left handed bay and he is right handed and then immediately walked away for us to wait again. Completely unacceptable and we left without giving them a single penny. Will never be back.

I was looking to get fitted for golf clubs and on a recommendation of a friend, I contacted Golf Galaxy/Golfsmith in Greensboro. When I called, I was just hoping to go in the next day, but Cody told me that they had a 2pm for that day. I was instructed to bring along my clubs. When I arrived, I got connected with Cody right away and he had me warm up a bit with my clubs. Then we proceeded to try out various clubs, shafts, etc... and settled on what I liked. The process was fantastic and I would recommend to anyone that is in need of a fitting. They have the technology to objectively make recommendations and the staff made it all the better.

Broke a club out of anger so I went to this place to get it fixed. Process was unnecessarily tedious and was told that it may take more than a week to be fixed. I could go to a local golf shop and have that done within 5 days without all the processing. Now I may not have a club for a qualifier and it’s because of how slow it is. Never going to them for club repairs again

I have 20 year old clubs and went to Golf Galaxy to purchase new clubs. I went into the hitting bay and only hit 5 shots when a sales associate told me I had to stop because someone else wanted to try a club. Two others bays were empty. The person that came in to hit had never swung a golf club before . I was planning on buying an iron set valued at $ 1200. But due to the rudeness of the sales associate I will take my chances at another store. Additionally, I spend about $1000 a year at Dick’s, or a now say I used to!

Absolutely mortified by the ineptitude of the people I dealt with today in this store, primarily a club technician named Steve. I called the store early this morning and spoke with Steve. I advised him that I was on the VA/NC border and needed to remove my Ping G driver adapter and have it installed on a Fujikura Blur 005 shaft that I really like due to the fact that the Alta shaft I was using with my new Ping G just wasnt loading correctly for my mid speed swing (I am an 8.5 handicap). I asked him if I could drive down with my wife and have him complete this job. Im not naive and do understand that this job can be difficult at times for a club tech to do. Steve told me that he couldnt promise me anything, but he would try to do it; I was perplexed by his response. With hesitation, my wife and I drove 1 hr to Greensboro. From the get go, he seemed extremely inept, but I gave him a chance. I putted on the practice green, walked around looking at merchandise and returned to the putting green which is roughly 15 ft from Steves location. After about 1.5 hrs of waiting Steve looked up and exclaimed Ive been looking for you for awhile, Im just not going to be able to do this today while you wait, you will have to leave it overnight because I am too busy. He wasnt busy, just simply incapable of doing his job; he was dressed nice though. I grabbed my shafts, drove the 1 hr back home, dropped off my wife and traveled down to Eden NC. I went to a small town store named Tee To Green, dropped off my shafts and the job was done extremely well in less than an hr. The job was completed by an actual club smith and not someone who passed an online course. This Golf Galaxy store will undoubtedly go out of business like many others, its just a matter of simple logic. Large golf retailers used to be the place to go 10 yrs ago, nowadays Id rather deal with Ebay or a small town retailer that really cares about their business,. I will never go back to this store.

Ive always loved this place like a kid in a candy store!! BUT!! The last couple of times Ive been in its been impossible to get any help. I spent 30 minutes in the simulator hitting balls and waiting for someone to come help me but no one ever did. I was actually there to buy a new set of irons but instead got ignored like I wasnt good enough for there time and no I wasnt dressed in a work uniform and dirty or anything like that. This place wont be there much longer like this and thats a shame. No wonder ebay is putting these big box golf stores out of business.

Went in to get some gear for my husband who will be going on a golf trip to Ireland. After wandering around the store for 25 min without any one trying to assist, someone finally comes over and asks if we are finding everything ok. My husband tells him why we are in and says he isnt really sure what he will need (looking for some suggestions). The sales rep says sounds like you are in the right section and walks away!! They have nice gear and clothes here for somewhat decent prices but dont expect any help!

Dont feel like anybody there actually wants to help you. You are more of a hindering than a paying customer. The pro shop takes for ever to get anything done because they only have a guy there like 2 or 3 days a week. So dont get stuff done if you need it back quickly. Never satisfied with the customer service. The only reason I go back is they are the closest golf store to me.
