An absolutely incredible track. We paid $46 to play on a Sunday afternoon in September and Im not sure theres a better value out there. The course is beautiful, with each hole deserving your attention. The par 3 hole 12 gets a lot of attention—and deservedly so—but my favorite on the day may have been the par 4 hole 11: A gorgeous downhill hole with bunkers that function as art.It was a little slow the day we were there but we still got around in about 4:30. And again, that was peak hours on a Sunday, so it was understandable. My only advice would be to make sure youre hitting a club that finds the fairways. Worry less about distance—its an oddly short course, even if it doesnt feel like it. Dont miss this spot, its great.

Worth the $44 dollar Sunday afternoon price tag. First couple holes we had to wait a bit. Smooth sailing from #4 - 18. Short so if you refuse to keep driver in the bag on many holes you will pay. I happily parred Pete Dye’s toughest par 3 ever designed which topped off a great day! Played on 9/2/20

We can’t say enough about Coach Logan and The Cardinal’s junior program. Coach Logan makes the game enjoyable and offers multiple training programs for all skill levels.The course is in phenomenal condition and fun for all levels of golf! We highly recommend the entire Cardinal experience!

Loved the course. Fun to play. Odd theres no tee box signs but wasnt a big deal for the most part. Would play it over and over.

Great course and excellent staff. They have great staff that help golfers of any age! My seven and four year old LOVE to hit balls and play the course! Thanks for being excellent!

Man, this is a tricky course. Beautifully laid out and excellently well kept. So happy they opened this up to the public.

Practiced here about a month ago, came back and was told I couldn’t practice unless I’m playing. They didn’t ask if I was a member or if I wanted to make a tee time. Just turned me away with money in my pocket. Turning away guaranteed money (especially in the economy we have now) sounds like a bad business plan. Won’t be going back.

Great layout, challenging. Greens were decent, but Ive played on better around the area. The clubhouse was good, but they dont take any cash...one of the staff brought us cold towels so that was nice. The biggest disappointment were the bunkers. For a course of this quality I expected a lot better. Beautiful otherwise!

Nice course! They had a butt load of rain last year so there are still some soggy spots but the course is really nice. Challenging too!!! Also, The bartender Taylor is one of the nicest and most attentive people ever. I live in Charlotte, but Ill be back here for sure!

Difficult course, great staff

Played today for the 1st time. I’ll give it 4 starts for the design, greens, and fairways. A few of the tee boxes were in rough shape. The bunkers were disappointing. I had to play out of 3 or 4 and there was no sand in any of them, just hard pan dirt. They really weren’t playable. Not what you would expect from a course of this caliber.

Great layout. Course little wet. Will be better after grass comes in a month. Greens recently punched.

The tea boxes were in poor shape and the areas around the green including the collars were also in poor shape. The design of the course is excellent but the management of the course could be improved tremendously. The clubhouse was impeccable with good service and friendly people on staff.

Played it last week first time ever. What a great layout but winter kill has taken its toll around greens and some fairways. Had fun regardless

Beautiful golf course..

Incredible country club with a great family feel! I am not going to lie though, this is one of the hardest courses you will play. The greens are extremely tough but it is a beautiful property that plays along winding creeks and ponds. When Mr. Dye was invited to restore the golf course in 2006, he was quoted for saying how #12 is the hardest par 3 I ever designed. Even though it is very challenging, the course is very walker friendly just like Raleigh Country Club, one of 8 McConnell Golf properties Sedgefield members have access to for the price of one membership.
