Wendi pierced my lobes. I had a specific piercing in mind, but she was honest with me in that it would not work. I appreciate that rather than going through with it anyways. She took her time, and explained what she was doing during the process. She was really friendly as well. I will be back to have her do my future piercings definitely.

I have had 5 tattoos done here and I havent even considered going to a different shop. The parking is sometimes a problem being downtown but its always nice to walk and admire the city on your way to your appointment. Once inside youre greeted by friendly receptionists and beautiful and unique artwork from the various artists. They find the right artist for you and every artist Ive worked with has been good to me and delivered exactly what I wanted.

Had a great experience with Alan! He is a terrific artist. The studio is beautiful. They are doing a super job keeping things clean, social distancing, etc. I appreciate that he didnt mind a small project.

I had been talking to Sierra about the tattoo I wanted for a few weeks, but she came up with something even more beautiful than I could have imagined. I love it so much! Wendi (the piercer) is the sweetest person, she pierced my helix, and made sure there was NO PAIN. sure enough, there wasnt any pain. She also checked up on my navel piercing that was not done at golden spiral, but was pierced wrongly by little Johns. She replaced the jewelry, and now kept it from rejecting. She is the best!!!!!

I went here to have my tragus pierced, and Wendi did an awesome job with it! She explained everything she was preparing to do, answered my questions and the piercing itself was quick and painless. Her station was very clean and private and she was very personable. She gave me easy to understand aftercare instructions and I left feeling very good about my experience! If I decide to get another piercing in the future, I would definitely go back to Golden Spiral Studios and Wendi!

Ive been here a couple times to see the piercer, wendy. i really loved my experience with her. i came back for a tattoo a couple weeks ago since i thought the energy was good here but boy was i wrong. i think the guys name was alan (he didnt introduce himself, i tried to look him up afterwards). but he acted like he didnt want to do my tattoo, very weird and rude vibe i got from him the entire session. def regret getting work from him, i had just already decided i wanted the tattoo.

I have already gotten two from Sierra and have booked another session with her before I move out of Greensboro because she is great to work with and creates exactly what I ask for. Decided on a daith piercing to help with migraines. Though there hasnt been enough time to see how that outcome will be, I will say that I am pleased. The piercing itself was fast, and no where near as painful as I thought it would be. Wendi explained things well and her literature hand out was informative. Following the instructions for aftercare 3 times daily. Little to no soreness, no redness or bruising. Highly recommend!

After waiting for 20 minutes to see an artist a guy walked up to me and What do you want? Not knowing who he was he told me and proceeded to tell me it would be 400 dollars for a touch up and 2 small tattoos in my arm.Ive shopped around and offered 250 to 300 for the same work before hand.Since her never offered a portfolio for me tolook over I looked it up myself and his work was average at best.Will be checking to see if other artists offer a more professional service at this location. His name was Marcus.

To say Luke Blegen is a great artist would be an understatement. He is extremely skilled and is good at any style, whether its photo/realistic, Japanese, American traditional or contemporary. Whatever you need done, rest assured, he can do it and will do a very clean job at a very fair price for the quality of work he does.

Clean and sanitary shop but got a simple band and Only took an hour to complete. the guy I had as my artist was a nice guy but charged $180 after placing a $50 deposit even though it was barely an hour for a simple piece, only paid cause i felt bad since I was a Walk-in. So not a bad place to go but definitely seems like they will try to rip you off if they can get the chance.

Talked to marcus about full back tattoo. He seemed excited about it. Put down $100 deposit and set appt to see the drawing of what will go on my back. He had no drawing and said he never said he would. It was like he did not even know me. Took my deposit and did nothing. Terrible experience. I have never had an experience like this and i have a vest tattoo with full arm tattoos. TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE and a THEIF. Took my deposit and never did anything for it

Super friendly staff. Was able to walk in and get an impromptu tattoo without any wait. They also will do touch ups for free! Got my nose pierced here as well. I came back after I took the stud out and was unable to get it back in and they helped me free of charge. It’s very clean and the staff is knowledgeable and good about making sure you understand how to clean and care for your piercing/tattoo before you leave.

Justin is the worst tattoo artist. He left after finishing the outline and starting the shading then after 45 minutes when he came back my skin was swollen and weeping and I had an insane amount of fall out by the time the tattoo healed. He also pressed really hard on the outline and theres scarring there.

Excellent tattoo shop. Highly recommend! The artists are great, the shop is clean, bright, and sterile. It is also a nice touch they have televisions in each booth that play movies. If you are getting a tattoo that takes hours (like I did) it is nice to be able to chill and watch a movie. I think this is the best place to get a tattoo in Greensboro if you want high quality work.

If you want as new tattoo experience this is the place to go! I have followed Sean Carey (owner) to every shop he has worked at and when he opened this shop I was blown away. This is an upscale no flash custom tattoo studio. If you have an idea the artist here will make magic for you, believe me you will not be disappointed! I recommend Sean for any style you want done but his specialty is Japanese. Shop is super clean, just different from any shop Ive ever seen in person. Its more like going into the upscale New York shops you see on TV. Everyone is very nice. All I can say is go here!

Walked in today when the shop opened, and was greeted nicely by Justin. He did a wonderful job drawing up the tattoos I wanted, and when he was tattooing me, he paused a couple times and made sure I was doing alright (I was getting a tattoo under my collarbone). This was an amazing experience and shop, and I would definitely recommend going here. Clean shop, and interesting artwork on the walls.

Wendi did my left nostril and it is amazing! I had a bad experience with a piercing from another place, and Wendi put my fears at ease! Shes very clean and thorough, she will explain and answer any questions you may have. She sanitized, marked, measured, created a made-for-me nose stud and then she pierced! I recommend Wendi very highly!

I got my third tattoo at Golden Spiral and I was extremely pleased with the shop and the service I received. Golden Spiral is very clean and the artists there are very talented and knowledgeable. I HIGHLY recommend Zach Crisp. He did an absolutely stunning lotus flower with lily pads and water on my back and it is flawless. It took Zach two sessions to complete my tattoo due to its size. Zach is very personable and easy to talk to. And more importantly, he is a fantastic artist! All of the tattoos that I have seen done by Zach have been beautiful. His attention to detail is perfect. He takes the time to give you exactly what you ask for and he does it with extreme precision. Zachs price for my tattoo was reasonable. I have zero complaints about Zach and zero complaints about Golden Spiral!!!!

Im only reviewing on my experience with who ever I spoke with on the phone today, not the services they provide. Who ever I spoke with today made me not want to go to them for anything. Its a small gripe. Its not as though they were outright rude or anything but I called and they answered the phone by saying Golden Spiral Studios? Thats it. Thats all she said. I work in customer service too so I know that some days really suck and you dont want to be there. But as someone being on the recieving end it comes across as you not caring about your clientele. Just something to think about.

Got this tattoo from Colin, the whole process was great. He drew the design from a couple pictures and worked with me to get the design just right. Very nice place, clean, friendly staff, good experience overall. Havent been anywhere else in Greensboro and I dont plan on it.

I came in with my friends to look at piercings exactly at 7:32PM, when we asked to look at the piercings they stated that they were closed for the night and we’re no longer taking services. We understood that they close at 8 o’clock (and we simply asked to look at the jewelry not that we were getting anything done right then) but the fact that they turned us away for anything 30 minutes before closing is out rages. No longer coming here.

When I decided to get my first tattoo, I researched several studios in the Triad before deciding I was most impressed by the portfolios at Golden Spiral. I was a little nervous, but when I went in I was greeted by Colin, who addressed all of my concerns (most of them before I even asked.) Colin is a wonderful artist and I couldnt be any happier with the tattoo he did for me. Hes also a very personable guy and made my first tattoo a very pleasant experience. They are good but they will RIP you off..I got a very small tatoo behind my ear an I was charged 80.00 it should have been shop min. Very very disappointed. I had gotten a nice size lotus on my side and 80.00 was the cost for it. Why do people want to do that when they get good buisness...trust me, people are gonna catch on an you will start loosing buisness.

I am so glad I decided to go with Golden Spiral Tattoo! Matt Heft was my tattoo artist and I feel he really brought to life the design I had in mind and even exceeded my expectations! The studio is very clean, which is incredibly important to me. The colors are perfect, the shading is excellent, and the design is flawless!
