This is a great Michaels location. Its well organized and they have a great selection and stocked full of items. The only thing that Ive run into several times is a long checkout line, sometimes wrapped into the aisles. Super helpful staff though!

Actually very organized for a craft store. Everything was easy to find. The staff was amazing. The lady that checked us out was so helpful. An item was damaged and she helped with getting a discounted price (it was the last item of its kind in store). Definitely recommend this location.

Love Michaels, the decor for all the holidays is always on point... There is always a sale and if something happens to be full price there is usually a 40% coupon floating around!

My first visit to a Michaels. I went to buy a gift box and wrapping supplies. Found the box I needed, some beautiful paper and a bow. Didnt have time to stay but will definitely go back to browse. I wish they had greeting cards.

With the holidays upon us. Even though the store was crowded and all the workers were very busy when we couldnt find items that we needed they went to the back and got them for us. Very helpful.

I was disappointed when the Micheals on Highwoods BLVD randomly closed with no explanation & they were open a few hours earlier when I made my first initial trip. I called & im assuming because they have a temp closed sign they aren’t obligated to answer the phones. This was not due to hours being changed considering it is only 7 PM. Closing hours state 10 PM. I will go to the other Micheals location where they are a little more professional & have a more open communication with their customers, from now on.

They are absolutely terrible at training new employees I had to wait 15 minutes for a manager to tell me that a coupon would not be eligible when that’s something the employees should know. A coupon. Lol like and that was fine that I couldn’t use it but that’s something he should have easily known. Sad thing is he wasn’t the only one that wasn’t knowledgeable on coupons the other new guy was confused as well. I will definitely be spending my money and time at hobby lobby in the future.

Great experience at this location. They held a bird bath for me in order to exchange for another type that I purchased at another location. The cashier was super friendly and extremely helpful. He made the exchange process seamless. Although this location isnt close to where I live I would be willing to drive further for the positive shopping experience.

I am so appreciative of the Cashier who took the time to bring my items to the front of the store for me so I wouldnt have to be at risk longer than necessary! They always go above and beyond for their customers!

First time doing curbside pickup this evening. I had a wonderful experience! Service was fast and very friendly. I wish I had gotten the young ladys name that assisted me, because she was FABULOUS!

Restroom was good and there was a nice bench to sit on outside of the restroom. Couldve used some scratch paper to write on and a television to watch while waiting for the rest of your party to finish shopping.

Cant find what I need. More expensive than Hobby Lobby. Their website says they take Hobby Lobby coupons and when I gave my hobby lobby coupon at the register she said we arent taking those. That is false advertising. It looks like a store with leftovers from a nicer store. The layout of the store is confusing and I had to ask several associates where certain things were. I will not be back. 2 workers were in the aisles on their cell phones. You will never get this experience at Hobby Lobby!

Lots of sales so prices were very good but the selection was pretty poor. Empty shelves everywhere. The girl at the check out counter was very rude and not at all helpful.

Even with the 70 percent discounts.If you need something in a pinch, and this place is closer, it’s not bad. But I prefer Jerry’s artarama in Greensboro. They are farther, but they have better items at a significantly lower price

I love Michaels.

Always a great place to find craft supplies in a variety of different media. Pretty selection of yarn and other needlework supplies, including the big chunky yarn for those Instagram blankets you see online. Seasonal decor usually has a good variety and goes on sale often

Not impressed with the framing department. I needed 2 small pieces of glass and the price I was quoted was outrageous. They may very well do great framing but dont try to buy glass there!

This store is ok. I shopped there quite a bit when I was planning my wedding. The prices are a bit high, but not too bad. I wasnt greeted by an associate or offered assistance so not sure what they were like.The store is well organized and its easy to spend hours in there. The variety of products is great. My daughter draws a lot and I own an event planning company so this is an excellent place for both of our needs.

They have a lot of different items, but they did not have Perle Cotton Size 8, only size 5 which is heavier. So I ended up purchasing crochet cotton size 10. Also I could not find a public restroom!

Like all Michaels, I wish there were at least 4 more staff members on the floor at any given time, but the service here is as fast as they can possibly manage with the companies staffing policy.

I really really like this place, as an artist myself I tend to need to go here a lot, and they almost always have what I need. The employees almost always are caring and nice and overall quite a comfortable place to be.

TL;DR: Generally great place, slightly understaffed, should consider signage rather than fussing at customers when they break unwritten rules.I’ve been going to this Michaels in particular for several years now, and I usually really enjoy it. They’ve got a wide selection, and there’s always a sale going on (and the staff looks out for you when it comes to coupons!). I’ve also used the buy-online/pickup-at-store option which is very convenient. However, they seem a little under-staffed; there’s hardly ever someone around to answer my questions. Also, I semi-regularly break a rule that isn’t posted anywhere. This time, it was setting my basket on the counter.I usually hate the “I’ve done this before!”, but the truth is that the counter is just the right size for a basket, and there’s really no other convenient place to put my purchase. Even so, apparently you’re supposed to just know not to do it, like you’re supposed to just know where to pick up an online purchase. If they got another person on the floor and stopped assuming their clients were psychic, I’d give it five stars.

Michaels is a typical crafts store with a very large inventory. It is clean, well organized and the staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. I asked an employee for 2 items. She showed me exactly where they were and made sure I understood exactly how to use them. The service is excellent.

The store felt very unorganized, like a flea market. I was the only customer even attempting to follow the one-way aisle markings. I ended up not buying what I was there to buy.

Always find way more than I came in for. Love this store.

This place has everything i was looking for. The register lady act like she had an attitude when i asked her to help me find something but She did find it for me. She said she was the on one on the floor but she lied because the person behind me needed help finding something and she called someone that was in fact in the floor. Either way. I was helped and i got what i went into the store for. She was probably having a off day.

Love this particular location. Everyone is knowledgeable and super friendly. Items are always easy to locate and Im never in there longer than need be unless I fall in love with all the deals. Lol One of my favorite shopping places ever!

I was sent to the rear of the store to pick up a package, where I waited for 5 minutes, pressed the help button several times and no one came. I had to go back to the front and get someone, then go back to rear of the store to get my package. Then a coworker showed up with a baby and the employees helping me stopped looking for my package to play with the baby. Poor customer service. Not planning to come back to this store ever.

Just as great as any other Michaels. The layout is different than the Wendover location, which I usually shop at, but the selection seems to be the same. The clearance area at this location seemed more organized, which was a plus.

If I could leave a zero I wouldAfter ordering online for curbside pickup and being told they do not have a particular item I waited in the parking lot for well over an hour and a half waiting for curbside to bring it out call repeatedly to be hung up on after going in to get the item that I ordered found out that they did have the other item in stock I was told you can buy it but you would have to wait in line again and was told sorry we can’t do curbside, your order isn’t ready and then asked if I could cancel my order I was told no it’s non refundableI will no longer be shopping with this company

Went to get a custom frame made for a canvas that is odd size. Found a beautiful one on sale for 75% off. My daughter-in-law recommended them as she has had several items framed by them. Very friendly and helpful staff! I was able to preview the frame on the print right in store which helped me choose the right frame. This is a great selling tool to help customers. Highly recommend Michaels!

Nice selection but not well staffed. Went shopping on a Sunday afternoon and one Item I was purchasing was on sale but didnt ring up correctly. Cashier argued that it was right per the manager. Rang up 40% off but the sale sign stated 50%. Then cashier went with me to see the sign. The manager still insisted the price was correct but she actually went by and removed the sale sign. I called her out. She was rude but my persistence finally got her to honor the price. Should not have had to be put though 10 minutes of arguing their sale. Worst customer service Ive had there and it makes me hesitant to shop there for the holidays.

Poorly managed and some lazy employees. I did speak with one nice, hardworking cashier there, but the manager seemed to be lazy and unintelligent. They wanted me to cancel an order and place the order again because They gave me the wrong size shirts. They told me I couldnt exchange them even though they were the same price for different sizes.. that seems like the manager didnt know how to, or was too lazy to put in the effort to help me as a customer.

The employees were so friendly and helpful. It reminded me of Target. Actually walked me to where they believed a wall hanging would be. Very good experience because I do not frequent Michaels and now Michaels is my first thought for more items than I initially thought Michaels carried.

Went for matting for small picture and enjoyed looking at all the craft and Christmas decorations.

I love craft stores, and Michaels is a favorite. In this store, I usually find more than I was looking for and find staff to help me if I have trouble finding the things I came for. Staff are all friendly and seem to enjoy working there.

Their staff knows basically nothing about their products or where things are or what is in stock. They do not restock very often, I have gone by several weeks in a row to find the exact same depleted displays. I have given up on finding them useful.

Love to shop here! They always have such great material for crafts of every kind. They have a great assortment of art supplies as I have been able to find great art materials as gifts for my 3 granddaughters who love to do painting. I have found art kits, great buys on frames, brushes of every type, oils, pastels, etc. Also they have great supplies for holiday decorations, for special occasions like weddings, scrap booking, jewelry making, yarns of all kind and more. They always have weekly specials and give discounts to teachers. A great place to get ideas and the supplies to make it happen,

They did have some harder to find art supplies, like special crafting clay, a plethora of pens, and lots of jewelry making supplies! I probably wont be back unless they have a sale!

Michaels is great for the casual hobbyist, but it has become more of a toy and home decor store in the last few years. If you are learning a craft and dont want to invest a lot of money to try it out, I would recommend starting here.

You need to pay close attention to what discount prices say and the register. At least I caught it before I left the store and could reverse my purchase.It is my biggest pet peeve with any store. The store always seems messy and there is ALWAYS a line. I mean, a line with like ten people in it. Its ridiculous. I avoid this location and would rather drive to Wendover. Just recently Ive been in two times and both times there was a tumbler with coffee sitting in the end cap bottom shelf of an aisle. Days apart, it was still there. Gross.

If you like art this is the place that you should go and I love the kid program where the kids can make art and crafts.

We went in looking for wedding invitations. Not only did we find exactly what we were looking for, THEY WERE ON SALE!! Great timing in a great store!!
