Beautiful park. Great dog park also. Parking is good, not great. The shelter was closed during my visit.

Not recommended for women or children there are a lot of what appears to be homeless man sleeping and hanging out in front of the dark area by the womans restroom they also urine all the site it right by the picnic table and use it. If that isnt bad enough they make bad remarks to women that are coming in the vicinity. Im giving the impression theres a high chance of rape if you went in there particularly later in the day. I noticed no police presence in this park on several occasions other areas of the park arent much better where there is Shady looking character sleeping with all their belongings on the bench

Nice inner city park. Affectionately known as “Wino Park” because of the number of homeless that hang around by the shelter. This park has a small dog park, playground, and the park is always in use.

Excellent dog park, plus a regular park. A great little coffee shop/used book store is adjacent to the park, so it is a pleasure to spend a few hours on the weekend here.

The park and shelter are really beautiful. The Listening Party band was awesome, I could listen to the all day.

Its a great park to have a quick brunch. Also check I can take my dog out to the dog park and lets run around.

Dog area for training and meeting Dog People there is water at the front of the park for Dogs Cats lolol and people Adults n Children.open restrooms and clean park grounds.you can bring your own barbque pits and electric ty is provided at front of park building between restrooms and also at pavilion at oppisise end of park from the water and Dog areas. Alot of police come to the park througout the day to keep alcohol n drugs out of the park . Enjoy the childres area with your children safe n clean Amen . Have a Blessed Day God Bless,

Theres a dog park right next to it and my dog loves that place.

This is a nice little park. the attic coffee shop just across the street makes a good place to get a snack to eat in this park.

My kids love the play ground there. Great place for my big dog but some people just dont care to pick up dogs poop. This makes the dog park smell awfully bad in hot/humid weather. I like it that the park also provide a water fountain for my dog.I mostly just want to feel safe when I am there with my four little ones at the playground. On certain days, there will be some weird and grouped of people on the picnic tables near the restroom. Police car even drive right from driveway and toward those people on the benches. I dont know what really happen but that is what I feels most of the time.

Went for the dog park. I had never been to an offleash dog park before and feel like this is a great one for first timers. Its completely fenced in, and just big enough for the pups to run around but not so small that youd lose sight of your pooch. All the dogs (and their owners) were friendly and welcoming. Its located next to a cute coffee shop and in a decent part of town. There was no water or poop bags available so make sure to bring your own! Highly recommend!

Nice location, in and/or very near downtown Green Bay. A good place for family gatherings with young children. A playground, a pavilion, numerous picnic tables. Park is close to the busy Main Street, but there are lesser trafficked streets you must cross before getting into the highly trafficked Street. Lots of shady spots to sit on warm days with a good book, and with the Attic Book Store only steps away, you can pop in buy a book, with a cup of coffee, or other caffeinated beverage and walk leisurely across the street and into Whitney Park where you can read uninterrupted.

Nice finced in area for your pets to run around. Shady and some tables.

I love Whitney Park. The edition of the dig part was a great move by the city.

Great space for letting dogs run around, but terrible location. Its right next to a kid play ground so there are unsuporivised kids who run in and out of the dog park, leave gates open, bother the groups of dogs that are playing, and knock over and jump all over the younger kids. No parents in sight so a very unrelaxing place to let your dogs play off the leash since you have no idea if a random kid will cause your dog to snap out of pure irritation. Probably will never go back.
