Found this place while visiting a family member at the Aurora hospital near by, offered a nice peaceful place to reflect and walk the dogs too.Was not able to walk the beautiful ravine trails due to mud but everything open to dogs if you have themI read the plaque in the pavilion but not sure of the local connection to Christa McAuliffe if any.Seems to just be a space theme in the whole area for naming roads and such.

Great park all year round! Access to Bairds Creek Trails, nice sized playground with newer equipment, pavilion with shelter available, picnic tables and grills available, a few recreational fields, plenty of parking, and a free ice skating rink in winter! Its also dog friendly, which is uncommon for the area.

I love this park but I grew up with it. It has the usual amenities but no tennis courts. Half of the parking lot is an ice rink when possible and the pavilion can be rented

Love this park. Equipment for smaller kids. Baseball field. Soccer field. Trails. Always quiet. We get there a few times for a softball game with friends. We make the trip acrotown for this park knowing that we can play ball and not worry about there being people on the field.

Overall the park is not too bad. However, if you have little ones try to go during a time when its not as busy. There is really only one main structure to play on and it can get crowded. A few more swings and another structure would be super useful.

Great Green Bay park. It has clean restrooms and nice, relatively new equipment. Its also generally not frequented by people who make you want to leave the park.

While the park is nice in itself with new jungle gym and play ground equipment, baseball diamond and basketball court I find my favorite part is its back drop into a winding maze of trails that go to the depths of bairds creek. Great park tho very dog friendly

Well in the summer its a great park. I love mountain biking and the baird Creek mountain biking trail comes right through (well one of the trails). The play ground was nice. In the winter the trails are great for fat tire biking. They also build a ice rink which is fun. Only problem is size and the playground could have more equipment.
