You’ll get a feel of beach here. Water front seating with a cool breeze at the evening. BBQ option, boat ramp. It would be great if you bring your picnic mat and sat on the grass. Or just lie down and relax. You’ll love it.

Such a beautiful and peaceful spot in Grapevine! Im surprised how quiet it is throughout the week, especially weekends. This truly feels like a vacation spot.Its the perfect area to walk along the lake with your kids and let them get their feet wet. Also the perfect place to fly a kite!My kids are absolutely in love with this place, they constantly suggest we go to the beach now!

This park is great for family and picnics. You can bring a blanket and lay out in the sun.

What a gem in Grapevine Lake area! Beautiful “beach” park to hangout and get the beach feel breeze ( I felt I was in San Diego). The park maintains its great atmosphere... Huge parking space and the entrance is complementary!

Great fields! Some of them are all turf, even the dirt. They are really picky though. No sunflower seeds or anything like that is allowed. But the concession stand is awesome with great options.

Cool place to take the family on the cheap. We really enjoyed ourselves. Great day trip as long as you dont have to go to the bathroom. Its a drive.

This park is absolutely stunning. Right on the lake with great views, fresh air, and plenty of shade. My nephew had a baseball tournament last weekend and I was very impressed with the fields and seating options. The park was cleverly designed, it almost looks like a botanical garden with all of the beautiful planter boxes.

Great getaway spot in Grapevine. Lots of room, well maintained. Grab the kids, and spend the day.. for free!

A good time all around. Busy, but large enough area to practice social distancing. Loved the waves and the smooth rocks under my feet made for a great massage. Theres also an exercise court.

A lake park in the grapevine area. It has free entry. The lake is very beautiful and has great scenic views. We had spent great time clicking photos.It has very large playing area with plenty of options like baseball, volleyball etc. Also you can play other sports/games in the free area.Also you can rest in rest huts which has Barbeque machines also.In all it is great option to spend your vacation and free time.

Baseball fields are well kept. The entire park is nice. A lovely place to visit for baseball or to hang out as a family

Its a free public park, enjoy BBQ and relax by the lake.Evening is the best time to go. We stay until 10pm. Be sure to carry a flashlight if you are planning to stay till late.Plenty of parking spaces.

Trail around a cove. Some shade. About 9 miles round trip unless you add in extra mile to Dove Road. Scenic trails w breeze most of the way. Benches tho mostly in the sun. Lots of off-road bike trails. Can beat hot in summer. Take lots of water

Beautiful place to spend time if you are in Irving, Coppell or Grapevine area. This place have huge grass area with beaches and shelters. There is also kids play area. If you are visiting this area, please take a trip towards historic downtown too. Worth a stroll.

Best place to visit of you are looking forward to have fun with your group.You can play following games - basket ball , volleyball & base ball.Nicely managed parking space.There are clean restrooms in the park.

3 nice and bright volleyball fields. The sand is clean. But the fields dont have the borderlines.

Good place for spending a afternoon. However, it is annoying that people use beach dressing. The trail is long with a big field. Good place for kid running and playing Soccer.

Went to this park for the first time and it was a big beaiftiful park! Everything is very well maintained. The playground was very fun and the kids loved it. Lots of walking trails and sports facilities, something for everyone. Only downside is that the lake is flooded right now (which is why we came) but we will be back during summer and hopefully the lake is accessible again.

Love this walking / bike path. Very clean & not very busy. My dog Rocky loves to go for walks here.

Summer is finally over and the breeze off the lake was awesome tonight. The city takes such great care of the park, its always nice and clean, and a great way to unwind & watch people wipe out learning to windsurf on the shore!

Great park for walking, running, biking and water sports. My friend had these toys but there are rentals near by on Lake Grapevine.

A wonderful park to picnic and swim on Grapevine Lake. Have been several times and had a pleasant experience each time.

Nice playground that wasnt too busy. The lake area near by is depressing due to all the trash and broken glass. Do not walk barefoot even to swim! There were some workers changing trash bags in cans. They need a community service team to clean the area.

This is one of my personal favorite spot. Very calm and peaceful atmosphere. There are lot of spots that you can go and sit and enjoy the beauty of nature. I love this park.

Theres plenty of seating and lots of shade. Much appreciated on these really hot days. All ball fields clearly marked

Nice park, too few trash containers.

Great place to get away from the city and just relax by the lake. By the way the baseball field lights turn off at 7pm so its better after 7.

Great boat launch location.It isnt crowded and easy to launch from with an easy to use dock and parking lot.Launch fee is only $5.

The time was wonderful...great place, great people, great time I would recommend to anyone.

Family environment, clean, safe, so recommend to rest and get out of the routine.

For our Muslim brothers there is even a place to pray. The atmosphere was so nice and free of charge. Wide parking lot

Greatest little league park Ive ever seen. There are grass and turf fields. Facilities are nice and clean. Chick Filet and Meet you anywhere barb q are usually available to eat.

This park has it all for outdoors. Multiple boat launches (when not underwater), many baseball fields and soccer fields (when not underwater), and good places to fish, swim and ski or wake board. There are lots of trees for shade and a several mile double sidewalk for walking and biking and most of it is through the woods with many places to sit by the lake and take the beauty in.Currently (06/29/16), the lake has taken over much of the places to do things, but the lake level will go down and things will return to normal.You will like this park.Dean

Large place. Perfect choice to hang out maintaining social distance. Good for grilling, for families to chill in d water, fishing, for boats and families with dogs.

I just wish they would overlook the people fishing near where people swim as they should set up a designated area if there isnt one. And if there is tell people to not fish unless in one.. Lots of hooks and it has happen twice that ive seen a hook get someone. Most likely go to a different lake

Just a little crowded at the park today but for the most part it was enjoyable. Grapevine definitely keep their parts well attended.

Its a huge park! Its gorgeous and peaceful . many people canoeing or jet skiing . they have plenty of tables if u wanna just sit and have lunch but also a good place to walk !

Very hard to find and GPS wasnt correct. Park has minimal accommodations.

We went on a Friday for Grapevines summer firework display. Although there were no fireworks due to several parks and pavilions being flooded, we grilled and had a picnic.I mainly took videos as a memory, but here are some pics.

Excellent spot in DFW area to fly kites. Amazing park, seems to have just about everything you wanted to do outside. Excellent bike and hiking trails. Wonderful place to go , docks and boat drop offs are plentiful. Tons of spots for a wonderful picnic.

Located close to Gaylord and Great Wolf Lodge, can be a bit tricky to navigate to. Parking is adequate but not plentiful, restrooms are accessible at the entrance but inconveniently located once you are at the event. Fields are functional.

A beautifully maintained marina with very welcoming and kind staff. This lake is the perfect spot for a day of boating.

Nice park, lots of open lake to go up to and always clean. They built new picnic table areas recently too!

Safe and secure. Well monitored with grapevine police on patrol almost every ten minutes. Had a great evening boat ride in a sunset breeze. Wave runners quite affordable here. So many though in the lakes posing a tricky ride on boat cruisers. Watch out for those little runners.

The water had this smell that was bad but maybe that was because it was crowded. Otherwise this place is good to have a cook out

Oak Grove Park used to be very friendly and occommodating, but management must have changed. The staff at the concession stand is rude and condescending.
