Visited the winery for the first time this weekend. The weather was a perfect Autumn day in Dallas, so my friends and I were looking for someplace we could enjoy sitting outside. Cross Timbers was exactly what we were looking for! The staff was incredibly friendly. The wine was reasonably priced and quite tasty. And the venue was beautiful! It felt like a little secret spot that we were lucky to stumble upon. I will definitely be going back.

I usually dont leave reviews but I was impressed with Cross Timbers! The staff was very prompt and polite. The grounds are absolutely stunning and they have a barn and gazebo for weddings! I will definitely be back!

My friend and I were visiting Grapevine and made it a point to stop at Cross Timbers Winery based on its reputation. We were so glad we did!The fun started when we arrived: we were standing on the porch, admiring the lovely old farmhouse, when a charming young man popped his head out the front door and cheerfully asked, Are you ladies looking for a wine tasting? When we assured him we were, he beckoned us inside and seated us at the tasting bar. He turned out to be the manager, Christopher Hankins, and was extremely well-versed in wine varietals, the farmhouse and its history, and the surrounding area. We spent a delightful hour tasting a good selection of wines (4 tastings for each of us, which came with cheese and crackers), chatting about wine, art and theatre, and settling on the best wines to buy and bring home. It was a wonderful time!After our tasting, we toured the farmhouse and grounds and marveled at how beautifully it had been renovated. The winery definitely takes pride in caring for the buildings, inside and out; we saw several staff hard at work gardening and maintenance.I cant wait for the next time Im in Grapevine and can stop in at Cross Timbers!(My apologies to everyone at Cross Timbers; I thought I had posted this review shortly after returning home, but just realized I had not. I want to be sure other travelers know about this AWESOME winery!)

Awesome venue! Charming mid 1800’s farmhouse and farm turned into an excellent winery and concert venue! Chris the manager is really nice, and is passionate about the history and wine.I am just waiting until I turn 21 to try some of their wine, and I hope that they reopen soon!

We could not have chosen a more perfect place to have our wedding. The venue was set up beautifully and Chris made the entire process so painless. He was always willing to take our calls or show us around the venue. His experience absolutely helped us elevate many aspects of our wedding and we are extremely grateful for all that he did. Cross Timbers will always have a special place in our hearts.(Importantly, as this is also a winery, all our guests enjoyed the wine as well!)

Great place to relax with friends or significant other. Food and service were excellent, would definitely recommend.

Beautiful winery. The area, although busy, is quiet and relaxing. The prices for sampling are reasonable and manageable for a larger group. Definitely a family friendly place, although there wasnt anywhere to change our infant. We saw people with dogs and young children playing in the yard which means that we will definitely be back. Although indoor seating is limited, there is lots of outdoor seating which is perfect for a warm day.

Great place. Live music on Saturdays a wonderful deck patio and the grounds are beautiful.

My wife and I got married at this winery in Grapevine. The staff and owners where very helpful and did a great job. The venue is beautiful and they have a great option to move the ceremony inside if the weather changes. This is a smaller venue, I would say no more than 120 guests, but I think that was what made it even better.

Nice ambiance, compared to Napa, its a hard call, but Great for Texas, grapes from lubbock.....

I cant say enough good things about Cross Timbers as a wedding venue. Lindsay was nothing but professional and answered all of my many, many questions via email very promptly. The wine and BBQ dinner were very good and the staff was wonderful during my April 2018 wedding. I have zero complaints and would absolutely recommend Cross Timbers to any bride looking for a reasonably priced but super cute and classy location. We cant wait to come back for a visit!

We had a large group and the folks at Cross Timbers were very accommodating. I definitely recommend this place.

My friends and I came visit this past Sunday. They came and surprised me from Austin, and they wanted to do a winery tour/tasting. We found this one and we were very excited. Once we got there, the staff was not welcoming & very rude. Told us that they are closing, when its 4:30. We didnt realized they closed at 5pm. They said we could still do the wine tasting so we stayed. Paid upfront and tip upfront because I assume they would give us great service. From our past experience at wine tours has always been great so I thought this wont be any different. There was a party of 5 next to us and we were a party at 4. There was two staff and both of them were only servicing the people next to us. We had to ask for the complimentary to cheese & crackers we were supposed to get. We did the 5 tasting, they just poured the wine and never really given the story of the wine or where it came from. We were just reading on the paper they gave us. We thought once those people left theyll pay attention to us but they didnt. They started putting everything away and cleaned up. Ignored us and talked among themselves. We hurried and drank our wine. Asked if we could go outside and look around. They gave us about 10mins before they told us to leave. We loved the house and wine tasted great. We wouldve bought bottles but they service they gave was the worst service we ever received. We will never recommend our friends and family here.

I DJD a wedding at this location and loved the atmosphere and the staff. The bartender and bbq buffet staff were awesome as well as the management staff! The food was amazing! The parking and load in and load out was great also and not very difficult. I highly recommend this venue and would love to DJ another wedding at this location. #djzamoradfw #zamorasoundandlighting

My favorite winery to visit in Grapevine! Main Street dead ends into these beautiful, historic grounds. We enjoyed wine in the tasting room as well as outside on the patio and lawn. The Texas-made wines were delicious... try the Tempranillo! They also offer complementary cheese and crackers.

My husband and I had our wedding reception there over Labor Day weekend 2013 and it was AMAZING! The food ( a BBQ buffet) was fantastic, the frozen beverage options were greatly enjoyed by our guests as was the wine and the staff were PHENOMENAL. The gazebo outside and the pecan tree were both easy to decorate and made for stunning backdrops for our portraits. Brava Cross Timbers! Brava!

Went for a wedding. This is a small winery. It is about quaint an country but inside the city. Great if you like quaint. If you want to get a complete education on wine, you would best be served in Napa Valley. For what it is, its great.

Historical Farm House with a warm, welcoming environment. Incredible wine selection sourced from Texas best vineyards. Scenic grounds with tons of outdoor seating and a gazebo calling for a wedding party.

My best friend got married here and the service was perfect! They have beautifully scenic views and delightful wine! Ive been there for wine tastings as well and their customer service and knowledge of wines is superb! I love it and plan on going back soon!

A truly wonderful winery to visit and sample a broad spectrum of Texas wines. Complimentary cheese and crackers to enjoy between samples. I look forward to our group event here every March!

Im actually outside because their hours on the doors & sign outside are apparently wrong & no one answered their phone calls so yea im pretty pissed off . better yet they have 2 suvs outside I was actually lolking foward to meet the people so I can have my wedding there but nope it was a negative for me !
