Had a fantastic experience purchasing a new set of irons with golf pro Ken Kapcia. He worked with me in finding the right length and shaft type, putting me in the simulator and watching my swing. I am totally confident that the irons i purchased are the perfect fit. I would highly recommend golf galaxy and Ken Kapcia!!

Went to buy 3 FJ Pure Touch Limited golf gloves only to find out when I got home each package contained a different glove. And due to the wasted time of my day to return the items I will no longer be buying gloves from golf galaxy.

New to the sport so I went in with an open mind seeking advice where to start and what to get, I was talked through everything, explained swing techniques and helped to find the clubs for my style of play. I was there about 10 minutes past close and they were very generous about everything. 10/10 would recommend Jim

I’ve always been ignored when I walk in this store and always figured it was because I’m female. If the staff took the time to ask questions and truly show interest in their customers, they would get so much more business from my husband and I who are both avid golfers. They make you feel like your not qualified or a serious golfer. It’s been like this ever since this store opened and I just decided to write a review since I’m looking for something.. won’t buy it at Golf Galaxy though!

Walked in looking to buy a whole new set of irons and a new driver. Looked around and they had a really good selection of clubs but you cant get anyone to help you. I stood and walked around looking at clubs for a good 15 minutes and then an employee walked by me to put a club and didnt say anything so I asked him for his opinion on a few sets (I was between the Srixon Z585, Callaway Rogue X, and the Taylor Made M4) and he said the Rogue X were the most forgiving and then walked away. Didnt ask if I had any other questions or if I wanted to try anything. I left and went to the Golf Emporium on M57 and they were super helpful and had me try all of them to see what I liked and offered suggestions. Needless to say the Golf Emporium will be getting the sale from me for a new set of Irons, Driver and of course a new bag.

I purchased a few shirts and some golf balls. The Whole time shopping I was probably asked if I was doing okay about 4 times. The sales people in this store are very annoying.

Ive never written a review before but I felt compelled to write one for Golf Galaxy. My experience with them was excellent. Their customer service was friendly and helpful. The shipping was fast and free...bonus! Being able to talk with a live person over the phone was also a big plus.

I dont know why I go here, other than they have a great selection of golf stuff. Dont expect to be helped unless you ask and then dont think youll be informed well, other than what you can read when its available. I look here and then go to Maple Hill. They have better prices and much more knowledgeable staff.

I was fitted for a driver by an experienced fitter I thought I was getting something great. On the simulator it fit perfect according to them. I said it seems shorter than my other driver but I would take it. I tried it out on the course the same day. Didnt come close to the simulator experience I took it back in they put me back into the simulator. This happen four times total over 10 days. Nothing. My old driver hit straighter longer.I told them this and ask for my money back. They were angry at me told me I was unable to have a refund, I used the club. Yes I did but how are you to know if it is the right club? They knew I wasnt happy after the first time I came back. They told me to use to club trying different settings with the shaft tee levels shoulder positions. How was I to do this without trying the club? They said Maple Hill wouldnt help me if I bought from them or even emporium in Greenville area. They didnt refund me my money I was forced to take a gift card after their tongue lashing. Never again will I go there.

My wife, son and I visited today, all looking for new equipment. Although I was promptly greeted and helped, the staff was reluctant to interact with the others. I didnt learn until after that this isnt the first time my wife has gotten the cold shoulder there.I might have dismissed this as her subjective perception, until Duannes interaction with my son. I was busy getting fitted for a new driver, but my son wanted to find a new hybrid as well. Because hes a young teen, I encouraged him to act independently, expecting he be treated like a young adult, so he politely requested a room.Though we represented the majority of all customers at the time, Duanne told my son he had to leave a sim rooms open for customers.. My son will gladly shop elsewhere, as will I.

Horrible experience, I feel scammed. Was fitted for clubs that were PERFECT for my swing. Against my better judgement I was persuaded into a club based on the professionals expertise. They said, If you dont like them, bring them back and we will get you something you like. Brought them back within 30 days and they refused to do anything because I had used them. (Not sure how to tell if you like a club without using it) Now I am back using my old irons. Bottom line, they are there to sell you clubs not help your golf game.

Don’t go here if you’re not white. Today was this places last chance. I wasn’t even greated by any of the three people standing around even though the guy in front of me got a “how are you, sir”? The times I’ve gone here in the past I’ve gotten the same feeling but it’s never been so obvious as today. The last time I went here I ended up driving all the way to Greenville Michigan just in order not to give golf galaxy my money. I work right down the street on 28th St. so I figured I’d stop in quick today to look at the new tailor-made M3 driver. I was quickly reminded why I haven’t been here in a year and made a decision why I’ll never go here again. You guys are pathetic and I hope you go out of business.

Was waiting in line to have the grip on my driver replaced, and an older gentleman was working the repair desk. I gave him my grip and he told me it would take 10 minutes. As I stood there waiting, another customer came up with a Ping putter he was going to purchase but wanted a different grip on it. The gentleman proceeded to work on his club before mine. This isnt the first time Ive had bad service at this store. I guess you need to make a expensive purchase to get good service. Well guess what? My next big golf purchase will be at Maple Hill.

We received fabulous service from Jim Amiot at the Gold Galaxy on 28th street. He fit my high school senior and spent hours with him to insure he got the right clubs. We were pressed for time and since my son is a lefty we needed expert advice. And we received it. I would recommend Jim to anyone looking for new clubs. Jessica Ruppert

Went to compare my current driver with all the latest offerings from Taylormade, Calloway etc. And left with my old driver and some great tips from Ken Kapcia. I will be recommending Golf Galaxy to all my friends and family and if your looking to improve your game call Ken today!!
