Stunning golf course, the staff accommodated my family for dinner when it was super busy and got us a seat outside. The restaurant is beautiful and the service is fast. Wonderful experience.

Hosted a group gathering here last month and received excellent customer service and hospitality from all the staff. The private room upstairs is beautiful to use and has a great view of the golf course with a private outdoor deck. Food was excellent and service staff was also wonderful to work with during the event itself. Would definitely recommend this club to anyone looking to host an event and will be coming back in the future!

We held a rehearsal dinner on 7/17/20 and everything was perfect! We did the BBQ in one of the upper rooms. It was decorated beautifully and they accommodated all of our special requests - even a last minute one! Would highly recommend.

It is unfortunate that as members we cannot get tables at Reds. This our third weekend with a food fail after a crazy slow round of golf. We purchased a lot in dues and deserve better service as members.

I have hosted events here for work and always found the facility to be lovely. They do a terrific job communicating. Expectations of both parties are outlined from the start, and each time Ive used them things have been exactly as I had hoped with no surprises - this is very important to me. The space is beautiful, and the food delicious.

Denise is always fantastic to work with. She will make your event everything you hoped for and more. I have been apart of a wedding here as well as planned two work events. Every one was perfect! Highly recommend Thousand Oaks for any event.

We used the Thousand Oak Leaf Lounge for our business Christmas event and would highly recommend! Denise ( the event planner ) was fantastic to work with and very detailed. The staff that evening was also great.

Beautiful venue for our wedding reception! Denise was quick to respond to all of my questions and made the day run smoothly. The food was great and the staff was able to get dinner out quickly. We were in the Grand Oaks Room which had access to a deck as well that the guests loved! I would definitely recommend them if you are looking for a reception venue!!

Held our mothers 80th birthday luncheon in the Evergreen room. We had the luncheon buffet with pot roast, herb chicken, mashed potatoes etc.. The food was fantastic and the room set up beautifully. Event manager was super helpful with planning and event staff was friendly and accommodating.

We have enjoyed hosting our company Christmas parties at Thousand Oaks for the past two years and are booked for the next two. Their venue, food and service is top notch.

Its Thanksgiving and neither my best friend nor I felt like cooking, so she made reservations for us for the buffet at Thousand Oaks. We got there, waited for awhile before being shown to our table. Nobody appears to take beverage orders, provide napkins or flatware or explain how the buffet was set up. When we got to the salad bar there were no plates, no rolls, an empty tomato dish, and an empty cucumber plate. When we got to the main course table there was NO TURKEY, very little prime rib, and very little ham. The horseradish sauce for the beef had no detectable horseradish flavor in it. The green bean casserole seemed to lack seasoning also. Our server was lovely after we got her attention. It appeared that we werent among the tables she was covering but she took us on and did a super job in a difficult situation. The centerpieces were also lovely. Im somewhat bewildered about why a Thanksgiving buffet included brunch food like sausage, pancakes, eggs and the like. My recommendation is to start serving later in the day and concentrate on the dinner menu.

A good place to eat

I was at Thousand Oaks this week for a golf outing for work. I was VERY impressed with the staff and their level of customer service. In fact, when lunches were brought around, I mentioned that I was a vegetarian... but I didnt ask for any special accommodations and I was completely fine with what was offered. But the young man delivering lunches went back to the clubhouse, and brought me back a special vegetarian wrap. It was SO thoughtful and so above and beyond anything I had expected. Not to mention, it was the BEST veggie wrap I have EVER had. My golf partner was quite jealous and ate some of it too.The rest of the day was just as enjoyable. The course was in beautiful shape and was challenging and exciting to play. The dinner afterward was great as well. I would be thrilled to return to this course.

This was a great course. Very well maintained. The greens were very tough. First round there and I can not wait to play there again.

Disappointed in the staff and how they treat there customers. Price is ridiculous. go play boulder creek or cedar chase to get a twice as better experience

This golf course was like non other that Ive been on. It was an open beautifully taken care of course that cannot be beat! I could not believe how good it looked and its only the beginning of the season!

One of the most beautiful golf courses in the West Michigan area. Well kept course, challenging holes, friendly staff and a great restaurant make this a favorite go to golf spot for me.

Course is in great shape. Food and service also excellent.

Play was so jammed that even after the group in front of us quit in frustration we were only able to play 6 holes before dark. No pace of play management. Staff confirmed that it was a big problem. Club acknowledged that they had permitted significant and uncontrolled pace of play issues but refused to offer refund. Obviously we would not have started if they had been honest about what was going on.This course itself has deteriorated significantly since it was built. Numerous maintenance and aesthetic issues throughout in addition to irresponsible starting policies and non-existent pace of play practices. For many reasons this can no longer be considered even a premium course. Many places nearby offer better golf, better management, and better value.

Never been to the Golf Course portion of this place, but their restaurant The Acorn Grille has a FABULOUS Thanksgiving buffet! I drove down to GR last week and went here with a coupld friends....for $18.95 it was all-you-can-eat turkey, ham, roast pork loin, stuffing, pasta, green bean casserole, corn, scalloped potatoes, rolls, hot cocoa bar, and a dessert table to DIE FOR!!! We ended up being a bit underdressed for the place, after all this is a country club restaurant so expect fancy clothes and lots of rich folks. But we still had an absolutely delicious meal, and would definitely return again!!!
