We had a great time! My only wish is that theyd warn you somewhere when purchasing that there isnt seating. Luckily a friend told me so we were prepared and able to enjoy.

Great outdoor location. Acoustics were awesome. Good drink selection and an easy walk from downtown. Hope to return next summer!

Went here today with some friends to go tubing on the water. The beach area is lovely, with small trees planted along the way! As you float down the water, there are wonderful twists and turns, leading to a very safe and gentle waterfall. On a side note, I saw Skillet, here a few years ago, in concert and the venue is excellent. Not a bad seat in the house!

Beautiful outdoor Venue. Very safe during Covid with masks Nazis. Food reasonable from food trucks. Drinks expensive. Well worth a show.

It is a really pretty setting to play and hear music...I was there to experience Grand Junctions Local Jam...an opportunity for local musicians and performers to showcase their talents...and also, many popular and well established artists and entertainers appear here...

It was a pretty good area for the show that I went to see. Even with this beerbug going around they had a good layout for the seating.

Other then the spacing pods being unable to be seen as soon as it gets dark for social distance seating. (Neon good suggestion) Having the distance spacing was great :) loved the venue and speaker system was great!!

This area gets better with every visit. The theater itself is great but the lazy river and surrounding trails and disc golf course just make this place truly amazing. If there were only more trees or shady spots along the lazy river and walking paths Id use it more.

Hubby and I attended a concert here and its really nice. We sat on the lawn in chairs we brought from home. Security checking in was a bit slow so there was a bottleneck at the gate to get in. Also, we had to buy tickets for food and beverages which was kind of a pain. The venue, however, is very nice.

This is one of the best amphitheater’s that I’ve ever been to every time that I visit is super impressed. My friends and I love to come here for events as much as we possibly can. They do a great job putting on all of the events that they do.

For a small mountain city venue (small compared to what Im used to with living on the Front Range of Colorado), I was impressed how nice the staff were and how efficient the operations appeared to be. I read there have been growing pains since the venue opened two years ago but from all I observed I think much has been figured out by now. While there was a small issue of a partially blocked view of the stage Fore the front most seats on the outside edges (due to speakers set up on the corners of the stage) the staff was kind enough to arrange alternative seating to offer us if we wanted to move to the center at the back of the reserved seating. I wouldnt mind making the drive up here to see another concert if another favorite artist came here.

Al
Review №27

The venue is actually better than I thought it would be. We were able to see the band really well (Modest Mouse, ya!) and sound system was great. Not so good? Running out of tap beer before the main show started, 10 port-a-potties and two bathrooms for that giant crowd, and on street parking was a mess after the show. Overall it seems like they need to work some kinks out, but Id definitely see another show here.

An
Review №28

Pretty cool venue. Came here for the first time to see Modest Mouse. Didnt know I should have brought a chair or blanket to sit on or something , so if youre into sitting bring a chair. Luckily I like to stand so it was totally fine. Kinda chilly my fault though for not preparing for the weather haha. Great sound could hear it from the parking lot. If you dont care to be upfront you could totally just watch shows in the parking lot for free

My fiancee and I saw the Gin Blossoms here a few months ago and had a blast. The only thing that sucked was the band told all the people in the back to come up and fill the gaps and just rock out, but security wasnt having it. Decent prices food trucks, over priced beer.

Music was great but we stood in line for an hour to find out you can’t get anything but beer if you don’t buy a vip ticket in which case there is a full bar and they ran out of just about everything less then halfway through the show

I enjoyed a free concert earlier this fall but found that there is not much information online about the venue. I parked by the pavilion and had to walk in the dark with my children with transients around. Directions were a bit off... I thought there was seating so we didnt bring chairs and didnt know that personal food and drink werent allowed, so we had to throw away our drinks and snacks. I spent the day trying to find this stuff out. Overall its nice, Ill be better prepared if I go again.

Great acoustics for a rock concert. General admission area is slightly sloped down toward the stage helping you see the show no matter how far back. Even the general admission parking wasnt all that far from the gate. Overall, great venue. If Skillet plays there again, I would be likely to make the drive again from Denver.

Nice park... The last time we were there to see the Wall Flowers the park smelled so strong if sewer odor it made the concert a negative. And to charge $50ish for a bring your chair/blanket facility is way too much.

Why not just accept cash for drinks and food? Doing food and drink tickets is just a way for the city to get more money from tax payers. The venue is nice (need more toilets though). Also, again, food and drink tickets? Why? Are the food and drink tickets transferable for the rest of the year if not used on given night?

Security guards were very authoritarian. It seems like there was an overabundance of them. Purchasing food was very strange also you have to buy tickets to get food or beverage and its a good idea to use them all up because you cant get a refund. Once you go in you cant go back out to your car for any reason at all they will not let you back in. After the show is over dont think you can exit out of the back gate, they lock that up and you have to go all the way back out the front. Next time I will not pay three times the amount I paid for a reserved seat and I will definitely bring a lawn chair and sit in the grass. Brian Setzer was awesome though.

Cant even bring in a selfie stick. No umbrellas either so if it rains they just feel tough luck to you. Made us move from an area and tried to make others move also. As soon as they got one section moved Newark people would replace them. They could have simply either roped it off or used their PA system and made an announcement. Very poorly handled with a lot of unhappy customers. Music was great - venue not. They need to learn from other outdoor venues like Hudson Gardens in Denver.
