Great place for walking, jogging, cycling, birthdays, picnics, or just a family fun day outside. Great playground for the kids too.

This is a wonderful park for the whole family. Huge area for the kids to play in their wooden play place. Picnic tables, restrooms, grills, and more. Not to mention all the trails. Explore for hours and hours.

Kids love it! Mom loves them being active and not on electronics! Nice walking trail, too!

Nice park but there was no water anywhere near is the only downfall, which im sure has to do with covid so id say 4.5

Its a very nice park to enjoy walking your dog or even to take pictures of the flowers around the park. But the cleaningless around the park and in the tunnel can use some work

Great park and plenty of parking. I would love to return sometime when my wife wasnt in labor. The pond was pretty stinky but that might be due to all the smelly birds around which only made it better. It was a fun visit that I would like to repeat.

Shanklin is a medium-large park with plenty of play area for kids. Theres a pool, baseball field, and basketball court on the property. There are quite a few trails you can wander down. They have a community building that hosts various events and parties. There is a pond where you can fish. The park runs along Goshens millrace, which if you walk far enough a certain way, you can reach Goshens Dam Pond. They have an underpass for pedestrians to cross the road safely. The other side is an environment center that has more trails and an outdoor fitness park.

Its alright, just typically overcrowded and full of rude people who are easy to ignore

Helped my grandson practice his cast. Then a shore lunch of hot dogs. All catch and release you know.

I rented Riverside Pavilion for my sons graduation open house. Worked out well for our purpose, and was priced reasonably. My deposit was refunded to me by check through the mail as agreed upon. Parks employees were very helpful, even provided elastic tablecloth bands and extra trash bags. Good job Goshen Parks Dept!

Huge play set! Fully furnished lighted bathrooms! Free public swimming pool! Plenty of room for outdoor games. Big covered pavilions. Much more than what Ive listed in this post. PLENTY TO DO!!

Nice little area to visit with your kids

This park is great. One of the citys trails runs right along the edge of it. They have multiple pavilions you can rent for parties. They also have baseball fields along with a basketball court. They have tons of picnic tables and grills for cookouts. Great play equipment. To top it off they have a swimming pool with a couple slides and diving board

Overall its a decent park with plenty to do, its just very dirty and in major need of some repairs and maintenance

Great family fun park. Loved Tommys Kids Castle playground. This was built as a community volunteer project in honor of the first fallen police officer in Goshen

Great park for kids to play. Its nice and shaded and it has a pavilion right next to it with nice restrooms and a drinking fountain.

Nice park! It has a good playground and open space for my babies to walk! Restrooms, picnic tables, grills, multipurpose building, basketball court, public pool, trail... theres something for everyone!

The playground is large and accomodates many children of all ages. It is very clean and has a variety of fun things to do. The activities are a great form of physical activity.

Shanklin Park is beautiful and has a wonderful play area for children. There is the baseball diamonds and boat launch as well. Just a super great park and only a few minutes from the heart of Goshen.

It was like a smaller kids kingdom but easier to manage if you have multiple kids kids. Nice views around the park also. And bike trails near close by

Nice playground, prairie area, picnic tables, and ball diamonds, and trails run through here. Its a good multipurpose park, Saturdays it can be quite busy, but lovely all year long for running and playing

Convenient place to throw a little birthday party

Goshens largest park at near to 100 acres, this is one of the best picnic parks here. A large playground with plenty of benches for parents to relax on is situated near the entrance. A paid community pool Is open during the summer. Ball fields, a boat launch into adjacent river, and a exercise path help to round off this park and its many amenities.

We love going to this park. It has a ton of activities for kids of all ages. It is large and fenced in. The activities are mostly wooden. Its designed to look like a castle. Its been clean every time weve been there.

A nice playground with lots to do in a fenced in area so kids cant wander away. I wish they would clean up the trash and refresh the mulch though.

The pool has water slides that my kids love to go down. The pool also has 2 diving boards. The park is clean and well kept with bike trails, I also love taking my kids for bike rides through the trails.

We love Shanklin Park! We really enjoy going for a family walk and then visiting the park. Sometimes, it can get pretty crowded, but that is to be expected in a community park as nice as this.

Its probably one of the best parks in the whole area. Theres a great kids castle area, slides, and other play ground equipment. The Mill Race trail running next to it, the public pool, the athletic fields, and plenty of Parks and Recreation programs make this a fantastic, family friendly park.

This is one of my favorite local parks to travel to. I spend many days here at the massive charity built playground. Additional facilities include a full sized pool, 3 baseball diamonds, and pond with fishing available and hiking trails through the massive Rieth woods. The park is quite expansive and publicly maintained.

Lots of things to do for kids and a nice bench area set up just rite to watch kids that are big enough to play without a parent, down fall is there are parents that let their big kids run rampid and run over the little ones

This park is amazing so peaceful lots of good walking, and many other things offered which I havent partaken in. Only thing is the kids kingdom becomes infested with high schoolers once school is out. And can be a bit violent around little ones

If only we all owned vast lots of land for play. We dont and so the next best is our treasured public parks. This has a kids playground, pool for summer time, walkways, baseball fields, picnic tables, and more.
