Great park for the family to spend the day.My kids love hiking and biking on the trails. The playgrounds were also fun before Covid came alongnow some are closed so the open ones are over crowded. But that’s okay since there is plenty more to see and do there.Make sure before you head out you stop by the tower. It’s a great view from the top. It will never be the same as the older wobbly tower!!We have also rented out the pavilions many times for parties and have never had issues.

Was here for disc golf. Cant comment on the rest of the park. I like the course so much that I stop here every time Im driving through on an annual fishing trip. Course is always clean and well maintained, a good challenge without being brutal. Layout can be confusing but good signage keeps you on track. Two things that might keep others away are that it is a pay to play park, and there is a lot poison ivy, but neither lower my rating.

County park with abundant opportunities to enjoy outdoor activities. Among my favorite local parks, the disc golf course is as challenging, as it is rewarding. Well worth the nominal entry fees.

This is a great park that is maintained well! Being new to living in the area, I needed a safe place to run and found it here!

This park was so much more beautiful and bigger than I expected. Hiking and biking trails, an archery range, playground, picnic tables and probably more. This park also is host to one of 5 disc golf courses in the michiana area. Being as this was my first time here, I wasnt sure what to expect. 24 holes spread out through a portion of the park, consisting of mostly trails leading to some open areas with grass. One major water hazard (a swampy pond) is probably the final resting place of many, many discs. The very thorny brush and some heavily wooded areas pose a great challenge for players of the game. Teeing off from a wooden platform several feet from the ground on one of the holes also made for an interesting twist in the game. Overall, no discs lost, no major scratches or scrapes, and no regrets for marking this park off the list of disc golf courses in the area.

I havent been to this park for many years but was able to spend a lovely Fathers Day afternoon there with my dad and my children. Lots of great picnic sites to choose from, we picked a pavilion because there was the threat of rain. Afterwards we enjoyed hiking one of the many trails through the beautiful forests. My children especially liked the path along the bank of the Elkhart River and are eager to return another day to explore other parts of the park. This is also a very dog friendly park. We saw lots of folks with their canine family members and our Shiba loved joining us on the hikes through the thick forest. Ox Bow is definitely worth a visit if youre in the Goshen/Elkhart area. Only complaint is that they need to work on their signage at the entrance from Willow Ave. I missed the entrance the first time because there was nothing there.

I grew up always within a short walk from this park. It is an amazing place for families, athletes, or just plain outdoorsy people. The only downfall to the park is the same as with any public location, there’s usually kids doing things they shouldn’t be. Other than that it is a big, fun, relaxing place to go!

I absolutely love Ox Bow Park! My one true love of my life that I had, brought me there my first time. I got into an extreme accident and she was by my side threw it all! She was my rehabilitation. We walked around the trails and when I had a chance to glance away from admiring her, the landscape was beautiful. I do anything to hold Janice Torres Gonzalez hand again, floating the trails of Ox Bow Park! I keep going back hoping one day she will be there hoping Ill be there to float the trails together again! I miss you my Red Hair Mexican Queen.Yours Forever,NRD

A local fav of mine. While not as picturesque as some of the other parks in the Northern Indiana area it has a plethora of trails to explore, ranging from obvious to almost hidden. Combine that with a plenty of picnic areas, playgrounds, a field to play sports in and a three story lookout tower there is something for everyone.
