So glad they are open. Used the walking/running track. Fitness center has about 50% of equipment available which is understandable to comply with statewide regulations. Hours are limited but staff friendly and helpful.

Best pool in the area!Some of the lifeguards are kind of uptight. What is wrong with dipping your legs in the dive tank (while safely sitting on the deck) while watching your kids go off the diving board? Most of the guards are pretty good though.We love coming to play billiards (for free) in the waiting area too.

Clean facility and pools. Lifeguards are very friendly and active in their duty. Nice relaxing lazy river. They have two big slides for the older kids and one toddler slide for younger kids, makes everyone in the family happy. Reasonable priced snack bar with great options I didnt expect to see (hummus and cucumbers and edame), they also offer ice cream bars for $1.50 refreshing on a hot day. Will be going here again, had a great time.

We had a little surprise party for my aunty here in one of there small rooms upstairs. It was just the right size for us. Nice and quiet space for the party we had. And even greater that it was right near the elevator and the stairs. The view was awesome . The staff was very much helpful and very friendly. Thank you to everyone who help make my aunts day super special. ️

Great public pool.The price is really cheap, $5 for adults and $2.50 for children.Has 2 small slide, lazy river, nice size kiddy area, lap pool, and diving pool.The life guard/kids ratio are awesome and they did a good job. They do a random drill, so dont get spooked when they are rescuing someone.

Not too busy for a Saturday afternoon. Lifeguards everywhere & its clean. Low cost for Glendale Residents. Nice little water park, without the big water park crowds. We didnt do the inside recreation, ...but it looked nice as well. Will definitely go back!

FRAC Foothills Recreation Center. Only during the hot summer months the outdoor kids aquatic center open and it looks very busy. I enjoy the indoor basketball courts. The workout facility offer a wide variety of machines. If you live in Peoria you get a bonus discount. I look for a clean gym and variety of sport or entertainment options and the Foothills Recreation provides that located on Union Hills just East of 59 Ave. Looks like you can also book events or attend community ran events as well. Great place for kids or your health.

Probably the most well managed and maintained rec center Ive ever seen in my life. Staff is constantly cleaning all day and when things need fixed, its handled ASAP. Much respect to all the staff here, you guys run this place very well. Thank you.

Our family loves to swim and this is an affordable, clean organized facility. The kids enjoy the slides and splash areas. I love the lazy river.

The place was ok, kids enjoyed it. just did not like the overpriced cafe and so many rules. We had the stroller with us for our baby and could not bring it in. Other than that the 4 year old had a blast but not sure if we will be coming back soon.

Love This PlaceAffordable, 5 bucks for residents, 6 for non residents. Two large water slides, kiddy pool with play area and kid slide, a lazy river, two diving boards, and a large swimming pool. Life Guards everywhere, completely safe! Only down side is the concession stand, Way over priced for products you receive! $5 nachos = 10 to 15 chips and two small containers of cheese. But my family still had a blast!

We had a blast at the aquatic center today! Kids aged 8, 4, and 2 all truly enjoyed themselves. The reason why I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because I was not impressed by the cafe portion. They didnt seem to have a clue on what they were doing, and they were being rude to each other in front of customers. Very unprofessional. The food was delicious though, so I gotta give them that.

We go here all the time in the Summer. Pretty decent park just very busy.

This is a great place for the kids to swim inexpensively. There is also a skate park next door. Seemed clean and had supervision.

This pool has gone way down since last summer. I drove here twice with my family of four and the baby pool was closed both times. No one was swimming. Everyone was in the water along the perimeter of the big pool in a horse shoe shape.

I used to go here frequently when I lived in the area. Never got around to enjoying the pool facilities, but I used the fitness center with great enthusiasm, often contemplated classes but didnt. Used the locker room showers a couple times and was pleased with the size of the showers and relative privacy. Many classes and events offered.

Loved this Center!! $6 Entrance for Non-resident adults ,lazy river great area for small kids,plus they have plenty of lifeguards all the time; will definitely be returning!

I have never been to this facility before. We had registered one of our granddaughters in a cake decorating class. It was at this facility, I was impressed upon pulling into the parking area, the inside is amazing. It was and is well planned out space and amenity wise. We live too far for a membership, but will return with day passes and for events such as cake decorating. This facility deserves the five stars.

It was my first visit. I liked how clean and friendly the staff is. I will be going back.

Pretty big recreation center but the basketball floors need a touch up. $6 foot a day pass is pretty steep too; most places I’ve been charge $3.

I love bringing the kids to this pool, is very well organized and has plenty of lounge chairs for parents to relax in. Its also very inexpensive to get in and has a small cafeteria with very reasonable prices. We have been coming here since last year and just love it!

We were here for a presentation, we used the Raven room. It was a nice location for the presentation.

Fun for kids. Cafe is ok. Service not so great. Lifeguards are awesome. They are on top of their game. Always keeping eyes on the water for any problems.

Good place for hosting my sons basketball game. Has a gym there too. Monthly fee for using everything so they keep it nice.

Very peaceful and quiet.Clean and has a very huge area for your four legged best friend, but be careful at night there are some snakes. I seen two already around the dark part of the park they were far away from the playground area. Still scary!

Low key yet enormous facility with super friendly staff. Only drawback is the limited and confusing hours of operation. It would be nice if they also had had least a FoodTruck in parking lot of it a snack bar other than just in pool area whi h isnow closed for Season.

I used to be a member here 8 years ago. Ive just joined again. Unfortunately it doesnt seem to be as nice of a place now as it used to be, though its still pretty nice. They used to have trainers. They no longer do. Thats unfortunate.

This place is amazing for kids! The water park is great. The outside space to sit is well shaded. The staff looked attentive and like they kept busy. I saw that the location has many activities for a variety of ages.Now when I used the food court the staff there could use some better training. As the line moved too slowly for as many people were working.

Is a very nice rec center I only have had one issue and that was due to a fellow patron nothing thing to do with the staff or location. Also very clean nice build I havent been in the aquatic portion so I can not tall to that but overall very nice

Been going to the gym here for just about 2yrs. Everyone has always been polite and helpful. Its a great no gymrat atmosphere. Just men and women of all ages clanking iron and pushing for our best.

My friend and I came in around 7 on a Monday night, we asked the front desk if I could sit and watch as I would not be swimming but my friend would be, 2 front desk workers told us it was totally okay and we went back and my friend started swimming. 5 minutes in, a lifeguard comes over and tells me I cant be out here if Im not swimming that I need to wait elsewhere for my friend to finish. I rebuke that there is no reason i should have to leave if i was initially told i was totally allowed to wait and watch, she told me it was her bosss rules and I need to go, so I told her I would like to speak to her boss then. The same guy from upfront came out and said Im so sorry I didnt know the aquatics policies. I, nor others, should be punished for the ignorance of an employee. I work in customer service and if i make a mistake i work to accommodate the customer. I will definitely not be returning and encourage their employees to be better trained in the knowledge of their own facilities. Thank you.

This place is always nice and clean and the life guards for the pool area are very attentive. I have only used the gym equipment only once and it was good. If you need a break from the busy waterparks, this one satisfies (especially for the younger ones).

Loved the graduate pool, fountains, slides, whirlpool and diving area. There was something for my oldest and my youngest. We had a blast!!

I take the judo class there...what a great bunch of people....so friendly and knowledgeable...feels like a family

This is a fairly decent place. Theres a place for small kids, slides for bigger kids, and a big pool for swimming laps and jumping of the diving boards. Theres plenty of shade. Not so many regular chairs but there are a bunch of metal bleachers. I suggest bringing a towel to sit on regardless of where you sit because it will be hot. They allow water bottles in but no other food or drinks. You could probably hide some food in your towel bag as they dont check the bags thoroughly. They sell bottles drinks and I think they have a snack bar but Ive never went over there.

The area around the building is beautiful, and there seemed to be lots of good stuff to explore. Dog walkers were walking their dogs around the walkway, so its good for dogs, too. The facility was clean.

Very clean, large, nice and affordable pricing for memberships. The zumba class on Fridays at 11:15 AM is the best!

The staff there are very friendly and helpful. We consider Chis a friend and he is always available to help if needed!

Fun times but it seems the female life guards need to order swimsuits a couple sizes larger. They made bay watch girls look like nuns. Its supposed to be a family place guys...

Foothills staff members are friendly and helpful. The upstairs area, where I exercise, is well monitored. Also, there is good air flow from the AC, and while some community centers seem hot and stuffy, Foothills is kept comfortable for exercising. I appreciate being able to ask questions about the equipment, having workers who actually monitor what is going on, and a clean physical space.

I take my little one to the park there almost weekly. Great neighborhood park and always other kids for her to play with. Its also great to see wildlife in the area.

People who enjoy activity, regardless of age...try it out! This place is a gem in the rough but theres nothing rough about it.A clean,safe and professionally run, city owned recreation center is a great value when done right. These people have it down to the letter,and on top of that are willing to do more for you if they can.The staff here is congenial, professional and always there if you have any Qs. It is state of the art with a sprawling facility for the whole family thats clean safe and well run and maintained.

Went all the way from mesa to spend my daughters birthday because there was no hours posted on the website and when calling it said the aquatic center hours were between 11-4 on Sunday. Never mentioned they were closed. Its going to be over 100 degrees at the beginning of August. REALLY? CLOSED? Will never make plans for here again.

Fun place to take the kids. 2 good waterslides, huge kids play area with shallow water and lots of water features. Lap pool, lazy river, 2 diving boards. Only drawback is that dont let you bring outside snacks in. They have a concession stand but I didnt not see what they sell.

I took a gentle yoga class here that I really enjoyed. The instructor Irma Juneau was able to give me a good stretch with discernible improvements without pushing it too far into hurting. Due to some sports injury this was important to me. The desk staff were always friendly and helpful too.

The Foothills Aquatic Center has an awesome gym & its veery clean. They also have a very nice pool. The only reason I dont give it a 5 star is because of their operating hours. They should have longer hours for those that work late.

Ive been a member for two years now and work out 3x per week. I feel comfortable at Foothills as it does not feel like a meat market and we are all there making ourselves better physically and mentally. Love the machines and think the staff are really cool! The price is right too. More affordable than what I paid at the YMCA on Greenway a while ago.

One of the nicer and more fun rec centers Ive been too. This was a nice inexpensive way to cool off my family while.on vacation in the Phoenix area in July.

Never TOO busy. Had a great time playing in the lazy river at 110 degrees outside. Snack bar was good too these kids really care about service.
