Great place for a 10-year olds birthday party. Not too crowded, and the folks at the counter are friendly and helpful.

Nice Family or Date spot... the Game Room is really nice. Me and my wife had a Awesome time watch little league Hockey teams play...

Needs a good cleaning and renovation. Doesnt appear anything has been replaced since opening many years ago. SkateNation at Short Pump is cleaner and has nice bleachers for watching.

Very glad to see this business reopening for the public. Limited time skating for the public, but overall experience was good.

Had a good time. The attendants on the ice are very quick to help when someone falls. The bar looks like its pretty nice though we didnt try it this time. Price is great for skating and rental. Overall I would recommend it for sure.

I am having a great time here with adult Learn to Skate! The facility is very accessible and friendly, and the staff was very helpful when I had questions about signing up. Always wanted to learn how to ice skate, and there are a lot more people in adult classes than I imagined. Its never too late!

So the laser tag is pretty fun. Nice course and well working guns. Its just the games are mostly out of order or just generally dysfunctional.

The people were great, but the ice was terrible. We were there for 2 hours and the Zamboni want used once. It was like skating on cobblestone. Run it once an hour like most other places.

The staff & laser tag made a great night at Hanukkah on Ice with Chabad. Open for the whole community to enjoy, it was a safe night for young & old.

2 words...lazer...tag...what a workout...but FUN!!! Lets not forget the ice skating is AMAZING!!! You can rent skates or bring your own!!! DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!!! I have loved this place since I was a kid!!

Normally love this place however when I went to laser tag this particular time, my gun was not completely on the entire time, it shot singular shots every once and a while when I was holding both buttons and the trigger, I went to get help and they reset my vest, after it still did not work and I could not find anyone in the arena for the rest of the matches.

Kind of pricey - $14 per person, but because they have an arcade, you can skate, then come out to play games to warm up, then go back in for more skating!

The staff was annoying, trying to make us fallw his group of friends. It was actually dangerous.

This skate center does not understand customer service at all. They charge $5 a person to come watch a skating competition and don’t tell anyone that they’ll only take cash or check. They tell me to go to an atm in their building and the atm doesn’t even work. Get with the times and get a Square...no one does only cash anymore

Nice local rink, good for learning, hockey, or synchronized skating. Benches are metal and COLD (bring a cushion). Seating on one side only. Tucked away so you have to know where it is. Parking can be a pain.

My granddaughter Anna is a ice skater and I love going there to watch her perform.It s lot of Steps going upstairs.

No stick time for hockey players. Way too much emphasis on figure skaters, even though theyre still trash with all their available ice time. This is the reason why kids in Richmond cant compete skill wise at hockey literally anywhere else. I think kids in Arizona aka the desert where ice literally doesnt exist are better than us. A man is just trying to get better but I cant. #getridofthisfigureskatingtrash

Solid local rink. Management keeps the hockey leagues running smoothly. Has many attractions outside of hockey that drives customers to the rink, lazer tag and the arcade. Good for childrens parties.

Gone here a couple of time with my dad. He plays hockey there with one of the teams and the little game area is pretty neat. They have laser tag and food there, too. Its rarely ever super crowded unless there is an event of some kind.

Clean bathrooms. Good Prices. Food is decent. Love the Hockey Games

Had my sons 9th birthday party there yesterday playing laser tag. We arrived early and were greeted by our host. He seemed eager to help us, however, he kept disappearing leaving long spells without being seen. The party area was very dark leaving it very difficult to take pictures. Our group went in to play their laser tag missions and I eagerly awaited for them to return to the party area. Sadly my son came out in tears. For over half of the time his laser gun did not work! They attempted to fix it however he did not get to play most of one mission and missed out on the last mission altogether. We paid a lot of money to have his party there for him to be able to play with his friends. I was very disappointed in their response to try to remedy the situation. In the end we got a small discount. We will not be returning and will not recommend this as a party spot.

Love the skate instructors! My son has been taking lessons here since November and each teacher and helpers have been great. He has learned a lot by there individual attention to each student. I will mention that the public skating is also a decent deal for people who do not take lessons. If you rent skates its only $12 for 2-4 hours of skating (depending on the time you go). Definitely recommend if you are wanting to learn how to skate.

Rude rude rude rude and rude. Jennifer Simmons is the owner of the dive cafe inside with the overpriced fried food and terrible awful customer sevice. When someone says to their ONLY customers that its too much work to refill the drinks you know theres a real issue (to name one thing). I understand its separately owned cafe but its in the same building and if Im going out to spend over $100 on food and entertainment for my kids and I, I will definitely NOT go some place that I am treated terribly for no reason at all!!! Couldnt stress it enough to avoid this place of you can.

This location is pretty much one of two places you can go to ice skate in the Richmond area. The public skate times is pretty much for only two hours when available. Their website isnt the easiest to navigate either and they also do not clean the ice half way through public skating so the ice condition gets pretty horrible by the second hour. Be sure to check your skates before you try them on because a few of their skates have bent blades which will make skating even harder to learn if it is your first time. Also, you could injure yourself easily with bent skates. Laser tag is short. Really not worth the money. The food is also sub par but you arent going there to eat gourmet so keep that in mind. Its not bad for partys so if you are looking for a place to hold a birthday celebration for your kid this could be a great choice. Plus you get a discount for groups of more than 15 people.

Richmond Skating is a nice place to spend your Sunday afternoon with friends or solo. The ice skating ring is sizable and can fit a great number of patrons. Monitors are available to help you back up on your feet, thou they dont seem to put any priority on teaching proper technique to avoid falling in the first place. This location offers a fast food sit-in cantina and a limited number of arcade machines. They have hockey teams practice here constantly so check their schedule before coming out. The one complaint is that they dont clean (smooth) the ice enough after hockey teams use it and the ice is rough for recreational users...

Great place for Lazer tag and the kids will love the arcade games too. Havent tried the ice skating but it looked like a great time and would be a lot of fun.

Really disappointed by the poor customer service. Paid $26 for 2 girls to skate without realizing that public skate time ended 1 hour later. They were SO disappointed. Cashier told me she only tells people buying tickets when theres 30 minutes left. She seemed annoyed that I even questioned this. We wont be back.

Really educated people. It was my first time ice skating and one of the staff helped me tie my ice skates. It was really fun and I wish to go there every once in 2 weeks!

Had my sons laser tag birthday party there. All the kids had a lot of fun.

Showed up for laser tag after buying a groupon. Even though there’s plenty of staff they said they can’t do any laser tag until 4. But next week they can do it earlier because the print out says so. I have some disappointed kids.

Nice facility, but if I had one complaint, it would be that every time I go, there is never enough people to play a game of laser tag with, and I have to travel from my college dorm, so it can be annoying.

Good multi use venue, ice surface a little roughened up near Zamboni gates, but love its location. Take off one star only because the cafe/bar never seems to be open for business!!!

I love this place for my first time with my friend was awesome but the staff who was in charge with the rental skate seem just a little bit rude but overall I would love to come back and have fun!!!

It is a really nice place and I enjoy it there, but the customer service is horrible. I called there one day to ask a couple questions, and they had an attitude because they couldnt comprehend the questions I was asking. The couple people that I had to deal with had nasty tones and were pretty rude. Other than that, its a pretty nice rink and lots to do.

Had a BLAST! only lasted an hour bring cash for the lockers ($1.60) staff couldnt give me cash & the ATM was non-functional.

Ok, a bit pretentious. Better to have two sheets of ice. Make better for parents who have to be there for hours sometimes.

Nice place overall but Lasertag game was supposed to start at 815 and didnt start until around 850. Representatives should have advised there was a delay prior to us waiting 45 minutes when we had no plans to play video games.

The ice skating was great. Long wait for the laser tag so cant say anything about that. The arcade...seriously dated.

Overpriced in my opinion, and sort of run down. The idea of having lazer tag, arcade and ice rink in the same place is great- and probably why they stay in business. So Im giving it 3 stars for entertainment. My son loves the lazer tag and wants his birthday there but I might try to find another place. Last time we were there, I went to ask for help with something (broken arcade machine) and the teenagers at the counter chatting acted annoyed that I was interrupting their conversation. Pretty typical of that kind of establishment I think though.

Took my teen girls there and we had a great time. The building is a bit run down, and the front door is basically in an alley so it is kind of hard to find. Didnt do the laser tag, only skated and played a few games. The place isnt fabulous but not over-priced and we had a really good time. Will be going back again.

Been to this place many times and always take a bunch of my kids friends with me. Last experience left a bad taste in my mouth. In past theyve always accepted any coupons via mobile phone. I prefer to not print more than necessary and always thought them accepting coupons from a phone app was a good step for the environment. All large coupon businesses accept mobile apps (i.e. Groupon, Living Social, etc...) I tried to use the coupon via phone again and was told they are no longer doing that and they requested a paper copy. I was told this new policy was in the email with the coupons, but after checking line by line it was NOT. I figured Id ask a manager nicely especially given I spend well over $100 there a couple times a month or more. I told them if they change a policy they need to let people know ahead of time. I asked to allow me this one time and in future I would print out the coupons now that they told me their new policy. The answer was a plain NO, Im sorry, which didnt sit well with me at all and just left a very taste in my mouth. Very not fair and very poor customer service. Alyssa Atkins was the manager on duty. And while Im at it, my girls had to wait a VERY long time to collect their rewards for tickets. They asked front counter nicely a few times and were basically blown off. There should be someone working the rewards area at all times on a busy Sat. evening, but there was no one. I had to ask front desk myself a few times and they said they will send someone there in a while, and they did eventually after I told them we were tired of waiting. I do have to say that the employees in the Laser Tag area are always very nice and helpful, but every time my boys go there a bunch of the vests are broken and the scores to do not register, which is more than half the fun for them. Definitely not a well run place with poor customer service. While I like the services offered there, they wont have any more of my business running the place like that.

My daughter is irreputably diswraught by your poor customer service and innapropriate personel. Susie has special needs and all she wanted was to be on the ice for her birthday party. Instead of being respectfully asked to leave, a staff member pushed her off the ice with the quote, Move retard. Please dont support this company, do not walk in its doors, do not even look in the eyes of the staff. I will never return, i hope you wont either.

Walked in today for the first time to see about public skate and no one was the front desk. Once I found someone I asked and the man was rude and dismissive. Before I was done he walked away and got on the phone. According to one of the younger associates he is a manager but was not the manager on duty.
