Great service, friendly staff, all safety precautions in place for an enjoyable wine tasting afternoon!

Small intimate place with nice Rhone varietals...the owner even comes by to say hello and answer questions. On the downside, a little pricey and also noisy with the electronic birds screeching every minute...i would give it a 3.5

In the Morgan Hill/Gilroy area give Aver Family Vineyards a visit. The owners and all the tasting room staff are friendly and willing to share loads of information about the wine. Nice tasting menu, at $15 per person, waived if you join the wine club and $5 off per bottle purchased.Today we had a rosé a Viognier a Chardonnay, a GSM blend, Mourvèdre, and a Petite Sirah. On our visit, they had a good band and the place was packed with happy people! We had such a nice experience that we joined their wine club. You can bring a picnic and enjoy the scenery and the tasty vino.

Wines are fantastic. Company is fantastic. What more could you want from a fantastic winery?

Cozy, family style experience. Wines good. There is a vineyard behind a cafe size seating area along up the hill. The wine club would cost $300+ per year and they offer cooking classes and events in addition to the 12 bottles of wine a year.

This tasting room is run from the Aver residence property. John, the winemaker, is always there with a smile on his face. The tasting area is outdoors & very nice, with a view of the wooded hillside. Aver often invites local artisans to their tasting room to show their wares.If you like reds, youll love Aver. Thats where John seems to spend most of his time. The wine names & labels are always related to Aver family history. Susan will always greet you & give you a name tag as you come in.We think, some of the better wines in Santa Clara County!
